Description

The goal of this game is simple. Survive as many rooms as possible while destroying as many enemy robots as possible. In some (but not all) of the rooms you will find two items to help you in obtaining your goal. The first item is ammunition (each of which will give you 5 extra rounds of ammunition) and the other item is life (which will add 1 to your life each time you get it). You must use your ammunition wisely to avoid running out. The rooms will change each time you play it so no two games will be the same. And do not touch the walls or you loose a point of life.

How to Play

Use the arrows keys to move and the space bar to fire.

Very poor remake of Bezerk. Graphics are too fussy. Music is inappropriate. Menu is too busy and has too many options - "Introduction" and "Instructions" could be merged. And only one link to your site as opposed to three. And as has been noted already, the scripting is broken if you die and return to the main menu.

Absolute. Shit. And at the end after you die from those super autoaiming robots, what is "rl" doing infront of "highscore". Love the professionalism here. Also, the game plays like shit, it looks like paper cutouts of tanks moving along a paper backdrop. A lot of work needs to be done here. 1/5

I have a few major complaints. 1.) The already-mentioned fact that enemies are immune to walls while you are not. Make the player immune, or the AI vulnerable (I recommend the former). 2.) While the concept of traveling through a randomly-generated maze is cool, your execution isn't. The maze has no structure, and exiting a room just warps you to an arbitrary position in a random room that may or may not have an exit that could connect to it. If you exit to the east, you should appear in the western exit of the next room, etc. 3.) The AI is pretty lousy and easy to trick, and there is no evidence of enemies getting more difficult. All said, though, it's not terrible, and the music is kinda nice. 2/5.
