Beat around my twelfth time, when skull didn't attack, but then next two times the skull did attack. I think I got very lucky the twelfth time. I find it difficult that the boss can hit the tombstones knocking them off screen making it more difficult to level.

I managed to win, I had 2nd to max level weapon when the boss transformed, still there didn't seem to be any attack for the last form.

Lost about 4-5 times, I was getting over 25 experience per hit at one point, seems the trick is to get high combos to level up your weapon rapidly.

worked to me: stay on far left and smash him when he is close. You will be behind him when he uses laser; when the bad guy goes to the other side, jump on platforms on second shot. When he becames a skull, simply stay on midlle and go a little bit left when he shots form the center. It will take long , but he can be beaten by one smash per time

If you want to beat the Skull form, I found it best to make sure he's off-screen so you can dodge his attacks without issues, then, with either Loli-pop or Spear, bash him to death every time he starts moving in between attacks. You're welcome.

To defeat the Skull you should basically just avoid his fire and concentrate on hitting the tombs (levelling up to FAB)

ridiculous hard game. and if you get caught in the first (upper laser), you usually fall down with no way to evade the second upcoming laser. :(

Am I the only one which has terrible control problems? for example: i press the right key for less than a second and my character moves from one side of the map to the other. or I press A to attack and he only attacks 2 seconds later. Is it just me, or does anyone else have this problem. because this makes it impossible to play. I had him in the 2nd phase only 1 hit away from victory (if he only has 2 phases) and then the controls start freaking out and I die because my character walks continuesly to the left right into the fireball.

That was easier than i think it was to be, got the medium and the hard at the same match, skull form die really fast and easy to dodge the flames

Good thing if you kept attack tombstone when Tom's is going up to summons bread for giving a few points for farming level.

after having read some technics on different forums, i finally get medium and hard badges in less than 15 minutes :-O

Heres some tips to getting the hard badge: wen he does the lazers go behind him and get some combos, wen hes doing the bread attack combo the tombstones and you should get levels easily, and on the second form use your magic alot expecialy wen hes left or right in the screen but don't try to hit him wen the skeleton is on top of the screen.

4 years after getting easy badge I am back. I must do this for the glory of an Epic quest. This is the last badge I need.. I have been through a lot with this Epic quest. must....beat...this...game !!

The game is almost unplayable. The lag between pressing directional buttons and my guy actually moving is almost 4 seconds.

Hint to get hard badge: the best way to level up fast is to keep get combo while he do laser, if you're quick enough, everytime he does laser you'll level up once, and ocne you get to the "near-final" level, you can easily destroy the skull form, by just standing and smash, the weapon is very long.

On the skull form you need to just need to get one hit in at a time (his attack pattern is left, fire, middle, fire, right, fire, repeat with no changes. I suggest you just stay at a point you could easily avoid his attacks and charge up a magic attack

Ok, ok, ok. Lets analyze this game... a medium hard boss Tom, beard attacks and a super eye laser shot, everything seems normal. But that skull form is hard as fck >:v

Tips for Speed Razor (hard) achievement:
1. Reset (press R) until you find at least 2 tombstones close together, preferably 3 or 4. When he chases you to use his beard attack, position yourself so that you can hit him and multiple tombstones at the same time
2. When he goes into the sky to drop bread, just keep hitting tombstones, do not waste time hiding under platform unless you're at 1 life left. If you do die, your tombstone cluster will gain another tombstone, speeding up your XP gain
3. When he shoots his laser, get behind him and keep attacking to get
high combos/XP
4. Get max level before killing him and get him low (5-10hits from death).
Bait him to left edge and keep hitting him to the left so that he dies at the left edge. Then when he turns to a skull, keep hitting him to the left edge and you will kill him without him shooting a single fireball
Using these strategies, I got a winSpeed of 2848
