@bubbletankking: I had trouble on that one too. Basically I tried to get a few bees out, out them on the Armor pad, and then send them over the purple hexes. When you reach the sides that turn them long range/high damage, I left one or two there as artillery and moved the rest on to the next island. Might work for you.

Great concept, with just a few flaws in the execution. It would be fantastic if you could pause the game and and set a breeding queue, that way when the game gets tense and fast paced, we can still choose what bees we want rather than random clicking. 4/5

The damage upgrade is the worst of them all. Also the A.I.'s units are better than mine. 12 of my units with maxed out damage do less than 8 with maxed out armor when it comes to capturing territory.

How in the heck do you select a group and have them move? I cannot figure it out. Cause dragging over a group doesn't help any, because as soon as i click anywhere it deselects them.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Good concept, poor execution. The game is far too fast-paced to be micromanaging unit evolution, and should have been implemented as a turn-based game instead of real-time. 2/5

Great game, i would very much like to see a multiplayer version with a much bigger map too. + this so the game developer might see it.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
possibly the worst control scheme ever. every battel I lost was because I misclicked on my unit and deselected everything. the click-drag to move is really annoying to actually employ any strategy with.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Whenever I start a level, it randomly slides to one side and I can't move back in order to command my bees, so I effectively lose the level

Very cool game! I played it a couple times through and enjoyed it a good deal! No real beefs with the game, the AI at times is a bit "off" but nothing a second click wont fix, I kinda wish you could set bees a task like "breed" or "Build" just so you can auto pilot them while a battle is going on with another group. All and all it was fun! 5/5 for me
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Awesome game, would be a great thing if you could let them auto-evolve after picking in what direction they should evolve though. This was way too much clicking, but like I said before, it was an awesome game!

After defeating all but one enemy (who was isolated by electric hexagons), I tried to breed a armored flying buzz-bot. IT WAS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE!

Beat it and loved it, but ya i couldn't enjoy the evolution system. I hate most games like this, but i loved this! MAKE A SEQUEL! Can't wait for more!

Hardly natural selection. It's artifical selection as you are consciously selecting which traits you are going to pass on.
If you're going to use SCIENCE!(TM) at least use it correctly please.

I like when you give the bees a command (take hexagon) that they don't do like 1 hexagon, but actually finish the job without selecting all and doing another hex, then another. Good Job. =D
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Dj_boy Dude, click+drag onto THE ENEMY, not the territory, then they will attack the enemy, if you drag NOT on the center of a hex, you can have them sit there, and they will attack any unowned hexes and enemies.

Too hard to control shit in level 10. Bots are ass slow to even turn around and you're constantly getting picked off by bots that are just as strong as you but have you completely surrounded. They're hard to click and drag because half their body doesn't register as a click point. They're hard to split up because they take too long to turn around.

Great game and concept, though I think it would be a lot better if it's turn based instead of real time. I don't get to appreciate the evolution system due to the fast paced gameplay.

Very cool game. Most conquering games like this get boring and old fast if they are fun at all to begin with, but this game added a new concept to the game by using the whole adapting system and i actually enjoyed playing this game.

It would be better if the ships took care of the ENEMY that was shooting them instead of the TERRITORY they are shooting at! Otherwise, good game.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
it would be better if the game went slower, and the maps were bigger so we would have more time to modify the bees to our liking. i also think it would be better if the hexagons themselves produced bees and then you could order a bee to introduce his genes to particular hex which will then start producing bees of that type. overall tho, i really liked

Originally I gave this game a 5/5 because I hadn't gotten into the aformentioned control issues and sadly I feel I would drop it to a 4/5 if I could go back. But really if that control issue is fixed this is an all star game!

Overall this is a good game, it just really has a few control problems. Note to the creator that drag and drop is really hard when you have 10+ units and are being hounded on by the comp. I found that what would happen is that I would try to select a bot in the group and instead accidentally hit nothing and deselect them all during a heated combat situation. This is extremely detrimental in stage 10 where your units have 0% sight and will do nothing to defend themselves because they are blind. As for the random evolution during heated combat I think that is part of the point of the game. Through your rapid reproduction and death of your bots you end up with the best bot for that combat naturally beacuse only the best live through the combat. I think that is one of the greatest and most awsome things about this game.

I actually feel this lacks a lot of depth. Modern developers don't understand that strategy and twitch reflexes do not mix. This would be INFINITELY better if it was turn based or at least much slower. Otherwise the strategy becomes a click-fest and you might as well take away all the stats based stuff.

LVL 14 is extremely simple. Split your force into 2 squads of equal numbers, now called squad A and squad B. If squad A takes the long range fire, keep them supplied and contesting the other force on a tile. Let squad B take out the other force (Probably smaller) that's contesting them, and then advance on the long range attackers. Let squad A catch up to them, or take the enemy tiles, whatever. Squad B can usually take the attackers out alone.

LVL 12 is very possible. Keep your force clustered so they don't stray off and die. If you're contested by a boss to take a tile, let them take it, you're only wasting time. Wait until you get 8-10 tiles before you attack, then, send 6-8 soldiers at the boss. The rest should be claiming neutral tiles for you. After the 1st boss is down, focus fire on the 2nd and you win.
LVL 15 is possible. Keep your force clustered so they don't stray off and die. Slowly pick off the boss that starts nearest the bottom after you get about 10 places, then move to the next UN-ARMORED one. Continue to gather tiles AFTER killing the 2nd boss until you have about 20. Hope that you got some mutation to get piercing, if not, then suicide run until you get piercing.
+ this comment so people stop complaining.

For level 15, I found it easier to send one or two guys to attack squares around all three of the bosses to distract them then have the rest of your guys go around capturing hexes for more production until you have enough to fight the bosses head on.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
the best strategy is outnumber the opposing force. aim for their hexes, make sure that your enemy won't be able to replace the lost bees, if you follow this line of tought, you'll do very well, for me, the long and thin horned bees are the best, they have good range, decent damage and a high fire rate.

i like all the ideas from everyone. in addition I think that bots with high agilility (the ones who fly) should have a flight pattern when attacking. or a miss chance or something. say your highest stat gives you a certain perk. that would be sweet.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Main problem is that it has too many stats. If the game were less fast paced, six stats would be great but at it's current speed you would only need 3-4 stats AT MOST. (Speed, Range, Damage, Armor). For sight to be useful, you need a line of site beyond which units cannot attack eachother (unless they have a spotter). Agility is only useful if you want a fast turning, high powered, slow turret but that is useless since the game moves too fast to breed your bees.

@nvillian
Level 15 is difficult but not impossible. It's a little bit of luck but I did it with bots with sight and range as their strengths. all you have to do is spread out your units and take over the hexes. completly ignore the bosses until you get around 8 hexes. then pick a boss, ( i picked long range first) attack, be sure to reproduce then rinse and repeat
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Hint: how to beat lvl 12. One of the bosses will always start to follow your units but do not care about attacking it because it barely do any dmg to your units. try rather to get more hexes so you can reproduce your units when you lose them. when the 2nd boss decide to attack you, you send 1-2 units to gather more hexes while the rest of your units eat the dmg. and do not forget to clone/repoduce the units when they are lost :)
