there is another game some what like this its called bug war2 or pretty close its been awhile sence i played it but you pick a class (bee ant beetle) and battle other insects to expand your hive and you evolve it pauses the game making it a better way to evolve

make it easier to target opponents units instead of moving towards them: it is difficult to have you long range units target them without moving in an negating their advangtage.

^^ This is a great game, its easy though. What you need to do is just get reproducing to be number one. I don't care what type I'm clicking on, what I care is it survived. :D

controls are so bad, that i stopped playing at after lvl 1.
but with better controls this would be a really good game.

Great consecpt with the eveloution thing, but it does not have much inpact on the game, its still "who has the biggest army". I can see this evolve greatly, and it realy should be experimented more with!

omg - third boss level I wound up clicking madly on my army while one guy went around and grabbed more hexes. Really cool example of natural selection: the ones with higher armour lived longer and thus had a higher chance of me clicking on them. So by the end all my bugs had high armour.

A clever take on genetics for optimization. The graphical representation of traits is awesome. When things start going fast, you can still 'see' the traits without having to hover over your army one at a time.
Personally I would like to simply have more time and freedom to tinker with the genetics to try and optimize. Choosing a survivor to take with you to the next level would be a nice addition, as would the ability to kill off a member of your society, or similarly an aging mechanic.
Balancing your army by constraining the sum of the traits, but perhaps it would be worthwhile to have a reasonable chance of increasing the sum every generation. I also think that raised traits should be exponentially resistant to being reduced in the next generation. It is hard to breed for a specific trait set when you keep losing what makes them unique.

Drag and drop really killed what would have been a good game. Would have done 4 or 5, if it was point and click, but 2/5 for the annoying drag and drop.

The hardest level for me was the one where you're on an island - I had to basically replay it until the CPU didn't get flying or long-range as its breeds.
In the custom levels, there are weird blue things. What are they for?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
this game is just crap and wtf are you talking about a genetic structure? you only can have 1 unit and double it and the drag and drop sucks -5/5

HARDEST LEVEL (for me) --> Level 14: Expand to the right green platform (hit as many hexes as possible)... evolve... then swarm the middle platform (taking it over from the enemy). Hold the middle platform by breeding and once stable, break off groups of 2-3 to retake the rest of the board.

First, this kind of strategy game needs a pause function. After a while it becomes too action oriented to give the premise any meaning. Secondly, the instant evolution button further erodes the premise. Half way through the game, I'm not thinking about selective breeding at all. As many other people have mentioned, the click-and-drag function is a bit annoying. But I can see how thing game might 'evolve' into an extremely good one.

Level 10 was fine, you have to carve out an area quick before you get swamped. I can do lv 13. I just don't have fine enough control of my little guys to do what I need. Its the first level where building a massive gang and charging in doesn't work.

I really like this game, it's one of those things that just holds you until you lose all sense of time. really good concept. I hope that there will be a sequal to this, or perhaps just an update or 2, there isnt much to improve in this game. Other than, i would like a colour selecter and a longer campaign, i have nothing left to say about this game except Awsome job and its a 5 outa 5 keep up the good work!

lv 10 is not impossible,do not stay in the part that make you more powerful for too long, cos it will decrease speed and kill any flying bee you see,to prevent them from reproducing.

Fun game, nice idea, but only the last few levels are of any challenge. Just stall (by making it a battle over territory, not units) the AI on one front and break through it on another.

The game doesn't come with nearly the "adaption" or "evolution" of units that it implies. In most levels it's far more practical to be using the boost pads to get the units you want then bothering to double click the best unit you have to make sure you breed right. If you could slow down the game more and the ways to evolve were more differentiated it would make it a lot more playable for what it's suppose to be. Also all games MUST have a mute option.

Very nice game. I like the ability to create an army of units that have the genetic structure that I like, but the game is so fast-paced that I don't get the time to actually enjoy the awesome creation that I have. I do like the game, and you introduce a very interesting concept to the risk-type genre

it would be so much easier to keep track of evolution if they had little stat bars than were permanent instead of hover-over, and it's hard to check the stats when the things are moving!@

the number of variables should be reduced--it's too hard to gauge at a quick-glance which bugs have desired traits and which don't. it's not clear what a good decision is in this game.

Great game! My fav unit was the fly with high atk. Great assault squad! Oh, im clicking like a mad man on thae last level to kill the armor bug, and the luck granted me pierce guns! Its so lucky.

i would like a screen that you can use to play with the stats, not for building, but as an extra to see what stat effects what part and how you can design a ship based on them. it can help to enhance gameplay by knowing what your ship does by look rather than by scroll over (for all those who have beaten the game, it would make it even easier)

the concept of the game is preatty cool but if it was a Rts game plan where u can put bases on diffrent typs of maps and be able to select what kind of bee you can evolve. u know what i mean.

LVL 13 - where the game became 3 star and I stopped playing. Concept is cool, control system is horrid and given the control system level 13 is just, well, plain not fun.
