Oh, and you should make it multithreaded. This is especially good if the threads only share a little bit of genetic material, so as to conserve diversity.

A neat use of GA to get a decent result.
Still though, given the results, I think you should up the stochasticity of it; it can get stuck for rather long periods of time.

interesting game, it does take a while to get use to and figure out how exactly you make a working creature, the one thing i would say would be helpful to the game is a rewind button, that way when your creature looks like it is going to work but then falls you could look back to see what the problem is with it, either way still a great game

maybe it would work if the muscles didn't expand and contract at random times...the only way to make something that works is just by connecting random nodes crappy game

It needs to give you a way to look at the various different things it tried, rather than just looking at one. Being able to page through each version that increased its movement (and then go back to generation to make more) would be neat.

my first creature that actraully walked and didnt slither, was a walking triangle. I'm surpised how awesome it was to see something that simple work

the creatures dont know how to walk, they just flop. can you make a cycle checklist to encourage it to do it your way?
