heatsinks upgrades don't stack, no matter how many upgrades you buy each reactor plating only give a 1% bonus to heat vents

i've run into a bug where heat will be bounced between the reactor, vents, and the exchangers. maybe a heat priority value could help or a button to load the heat into the vents or something...

I think the concept of this game is great, one of the best concepts I have seen for an incremental game...but even with the latest update it doesn't seem like the execution is there. There doesn't seem to be a purpose for some of the components. I can just put cells down next to vents, and it isn't so different from when I just put down plating and cells. Maybe have it so heat cannot transfer directly from a cell into a vent. You could force some restrictions, for example heat can only transfer between components and exchangers. And heat has to go to a coolent cell, and from there to a vent. Then by tweaking the costs/effects you might make it so that the optimal design involves a small number of vents that all of the heat gets piped to via these exchangers and coolant cells. Then have a little animation showing the heat flow through each element.

This new upgrade is awesome. The heat exchanger always carries some latent heat while the reaction is going on, reactor plating and heatsinks actually make sense, etc. I can actually use thorium cells in my reactor without needing coolant cells next to the reactor's core.

Honestly, i prefered it when the cells exploded. it's just a hassle to remove the spent ones and put down new ones. perhaps a new upgrade that automatically replaces the old cells with new ones, and add a toggle option for it?

The newest update actually made the game worse. There is very little strategy, as you have to surround each cell with vents and exchangers. The highest tier cell is completely useless. The amount of space it would require to transfer its heat is never going to be more efficient than creating lower tier cells. This game absolutely needs more upgrades, space, and balance.

After quite a bit of playing around and testing stuff, this is my current most stable and profitable build: http://i.imgur.com/y0v8BI2.jpg And now, gotta wait until I have 500B for next upgrade (and then 500 again lol). :)

Well that was fun while it lasted. I mean that genuinely, too. I got to the point where I had a very nice heat exchange set up, with plenty of fans and batteries to keep me happy. I got a little too greedy with the generators though, and wound up getting a 3.4k heat spike right to the reactor. Lesson learned: Always have more shielding than you think you need. Cost: One $500k set up.

I enjoyed this game when it was "unplayable". SO HAPPY to see an update! I recommend a "replace all" button. This would be to replace all depleted fuel cells with refreshed ones. One click of a button. Simple.

vent no more collecting heat only only heat exchanger collecting the heat no more transfer to vent so they share the heat ... nice update bro

8 vent , 4 exchanger 1 cell that my set up form yesterday was never getting heat always controled and oups since your update i m getting heat build up O_O was a nice game ty bro 1 star

Hmm, neutron reflectors lose durability at a base of 2 per tick if it is adjacent to exactly one fuel cell. If they are adjacent to 2 fuel cells that increases to 6 per tick. Is that intended behaviour?

It seems like the game auto-pauses in the upgrade menu, but not the options menu. Lost quite a bit of equipment this way.

You should change it to increased efficiency based on maximum heat instead of a solid increase that way it seems more balanced because the Ultimate Reactor Plating is not as useful as the Basic Reactor Plating. It could also just be a solid amount for each plating i.e. Basic gives 5% so Advanced could give 7.5% Super 10% Wondrous 12.5% Ultimate 15% the just add the upgrades so after all 6 you get 11>13.5>16>18.5>21. Just some feed back doesn't have to be exact could even start at 0% or even be 1% per tier level which sounds fairer or 0.5% per tier level. Just some food for thought.

could do with some music, the game is great but it gets a bit repetitive, could do with some entertainment during the process of getting power hungry
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
With the current balance, I'm simply spamming tons of basic reactor platings, since the bonus to heat dissipation is simply dependent on number of platings, not quality. Might wanna look into that!

this is kinda realistic game - ive made 1 mistake with nuclear fuel in the reactor and everything exploded like chernobyl

This new update is pretty bad. Had to revise my rating. --Need to cover the whole screen with vents to place a fraction of the old number of cells.

New update made the game so unstable. sometimes i have 0 heat production i just sell one item and place it back and boom!!!! 3m heat production. Honestly the heat exchange should have an other icon because it doesnt really do pipe mecanism because there is no flow of heat and kinda mess up how the game really work.

it would be really you could make an upgrade that increases tick speed I would make it pricey though and sorry for all the requests but a upgrade that could make vents better would be nice also love the game keep up the good work :D

Very nice game, here's a few suggestions: 1-) Make a "sell all depleted button", right clicking hundreds of depleted cells suck. 2-) Cells themselves should heat up, right now I just placed a bunch of heat exchangers & vents at the bottom of the screen, while packing the rest of the grid with cells.

Heat exchangers are underpowered, and direct connection bonuses are only 200%, so connected designs just don't work as well as keeping the cells isolated from everything, and just working with the properties of the base reactor directly. That should be corrected, because designing stuff would have been more than half the fun. The game should be retooled to use only localized heat flow.

Interesting idea but it seems like the progress is just more/stronger. Some sort of way to capture heat, even if expensive, to make energy would be neat, something to make it more about balancing the reactor. It feels a bit more "clicker" than "incremental" because of the energy capacity and constant batteries.

This game has lots of potential but it needs some kind of mechanism to auto-sell. I can't see ever using some of the higher-tier items since it would require me to sit at the computer clicking non-stop for hours; not terribly fun. An upgrade that would sell energy when the bar becomes full x number of times would be welcome, even if it were godawful expensive.

Also when one of the cells is almost drained I would just like to be able to put a new one over instead of having to wait until its fully drained or sell it.
I also would like to see somewhere how much heat the cells give when I mouse over them, now I have to crunch the numbers myself when I have 3 reflectors next to a cell.
I also think the capacitors are a bit expensive when just starting out.

some downs and ups to new update, purchasing the highest reacter plate has no bonusses over the lower ones. Since you have to lower the heath urself you don't want to get it up to high numbers anyway, so the cheapest one offer 1% boost as do the most expensive ones.
