Great game, might be a little better if upgrade points are given based on your score, not achievements, it's a little hard to level up your skills. Other than that, 5/5.

Much better than the 1st one. One thing though.... I've accidentally restarted my progress TWICE!! Maybe make the restart button a bit less inviting.

Wow, I never realized a hot air balloon is the perfect choice when whale hunting - even if you're flying 3 meters over sea level; if a whale hits you, don't worry, you'll need multiple hits before going down.... GET TO DA HAWT AIR BALLOOOOON!!!

Ok, I did what the pirate said... put another ass on the whale. No go, perhaps I should REASSIGN the skill points instead. :P 5/5

I wanna keep playing so bad, but I cant take out the Aliens, some are just SO high. Any tips guys? I think I just chose the wrong upgrades, because unless there is an ability I dont know about, the aliens are impossible to kill.

I simply cannot reach this stupid alien! At maximum size I should be able to reach it. After around 15 attempts I'm getting rather annoyed >:( Twas good game till then!

Got all 40 achievements and hit wave 50. :)
Remember, you get upgrade points for achievements, so focus on getting as many as possible, if you do this, the game will be easy. Tip - upgrade regen and you won't need to eat, it will heal you faster than the hunger can damage you, this will give you the time you need to leave a ship or 2 alive and focus on achievements like the moon bites and bird/fish extinction. ++ if you found this useful!

Is wave 50 even meant to be beaten? I used a couple of invulnerability powerups and smashed all I could, but they just kept on spawning...

got stuck... alien would fly to high even if i went to the bottom of the ocean and charged i wldnt reach him.. 1/5 for that -.-

Love it. Great improvement over the previous game. Maybe next you could give the poor sharks their shot at the top of the food chain with a Jaws edition for toothy variety.

Wow, bug. Once you've gotten all the achievements, refresh the game each time you complete a wave. You'll get 13 more upgrade points every time you continue! Do this a couple of times and you'll max out.

one problem with the game...
in real life the whale actualy doesent need to jump out of the water to breath. it just needs to stick the hole on its back in the air to breath
(in the game your mouth has to be out of the water)
so make it so if your mouth is undewater but your back is over. your still breathing

LEVEL 50 is ridiculous. The difficulty curve suddenly jumps to impossible. I have been stuck at 50 for hours and I think I'm gonna give up now.

I realize a lot of people are big fans of upgrades. Otherwise Upgrade Complete wouldn't be so popular. But in this case my own opinion is that the upgrades take away from the great gameflow of the original Moby Dick. Eat people, grow bigger, faster, stronger, without interruption. Now we have to bump up the stats in tiny increments, and growing larger does nothing for health or other logically connected attributes. It's like playing Pac-Man with an upgrade screen every 100 dots.
If you have to put upgrades in this game, a good compromise would be a skill tree popping up between fights, or an upgrade path scheme like the one Bubble Tanks uses.
It would also be nice to see nets prepared by the crews before they're dropped. They're hard to avoid and devastating if they catch you under several cannon ships. This was my biggest complaint with the original.
First game is one of my all-time favorites, and this one doesn't throw that away. Hope you keep refining the concept.

There's one major problem... Restarting from the first wave causes you to lose all of your upgrade points from achievements. I would prefer if it only reset the points from completing the wave, so that our achievements can carry over between games.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Too bad ou can't upgrade everything to the max. There is about 160 total points from upgrading, you get 1 upgrade point per wave, and if you completed all the achievements, then that's another 76 upgrade points. However, that only adds up to 126, which is 34 points making me a sad panda :(

Great game, I love the upgrades. I did notice one mistake. In the upgrade menu, it should be reassigning your upgrade points, not reassing.

Can someone please tell me how to reach the aliens? Sometimes they're not even visible on my screen. My whale won't go very high out of the water no matter what stats I max. Help :c
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It bugs me that if you fail a wave (repeatedly...) the upgrades reset back to what they were the first time you attempted the level, regardless of what changes you've made since.

Im sorry man but you dissapointed me..... I came to see and play an awesome game and what did you give me?? AN EXTREMELY ADDICTING EPIC GAME!!!!!!! Good Job!!

would love to see some stats page in the menu. eg, people/fish/birds/martians eaten, ships sunk etc. 42 waves in is there an end? :3 great game

Captain Nemo to Ned Land and Professor Arronax: "The Sea is a safe haven; it is my world, my soul, the place I belong. There are no dangers; no brute beasts, hungry animals, and carniverous creatures. In this realm, there is nothing to fear..." Ned Land: "WHAT THE HELL? ITS... ITS!... ITS MOBY DICK!!!!!!!

Sometimes I take away my size on the marshan levels for obvious reasons... you're so huge and fat and easy to get hit, being smaller makes it 400X easier to dodge yellow death aprticles
