BotD still registers (after a few attempts) but the message saying you have it gotten it doesn't. Same happened friday (and probably saturday but I didn't get that badge). It probably involves the new changes to kong. Open your account in a new tab and it will show. If it genuinely hasn't registered, reload (or reconnect using Neshara's reconnect trick) 3-4 times and then reload your account to check it again. Repeat until the BotD registers. Hope this helps.

It takes a minute for BotD to process. Obviously Kong knows their sh is f'd; no need for 9001 comments saying the same thing!

the fact that i've already earned the botd 2 years ago and yet i'm not being granted it amazes me :P Kong haven't been so broken before

i've tried the 2-tabs "reconnect" idea over 30 times and haven't gotten the badge to register for the BoTD. it's there for the basic easy achievement, but the BoTD doesn't acknowledge it.

If it's not rewarding your badge, try opening the game in 2 tabs and alternate between reconnecting in them until it gives you your badge credit. I just did that myself and it worked after like 4 reconnects.

ain't broken, just takes a lot more time than usual to read stats it seems. and at some point yesterday Kong was saying 503

Maybe it's because I had already earned the badge but collecting the blocks and extra points worked for me, it's a lot more delayed than usual. Rather than awarding almost immediately it takes 20-30 seconds. I don't know if waiting would help for anyone who hasn't previously earned the badge though

Hm. Upon checking my profile, I noticed that the botd boni were awarded, just the display at the game itself is broken.

@sokob4n: doesn´t work for me. Refreshing, reconnecting, different browser - since they introduced blocks, the botd and the tracking of any badge for that game is broken for me. :(

They really need to fix the logging/recognition/whatever you call it for the BOTD. Both today's and yesterday's took ages to recognize that yes, I had indeed already earned the badge. And no pop up saying "Hey! Yes! You earned the BOTD! Hey Kong, please fix this issue!

I tried Lolinontot's solution on Firefox, and it worked. Badge Of The Day was validated as soon as I went on the Kongpanions page. Thanks a lot.

7:35 UTC: Badges I had already earned did register, also for BOTD. It just took ages! Gave it a try with a new tab, and then reconnecting in the current, reloaded the page, but then just let it sit and a couple of minutes later, the badges were showing correctly again. Haven't tried DOEOing today yet though.. :-D

3 out 3 games missing badges since the Blocks feature.
Took a few reloads to earn the daily achievement, which is not the right way to function especially for badges awarded on completion (luckily not today).
And still does nothing for the DOEO challenge.

Apparently, the badges seem to be working again, at least they did for me. I was about to file a report, and the two popped up as complete again. It didn't show the shiny upgrade to the Kongpanion on the game page, but it does show it on the achievements page.

I'm glad it isn't only me having BOTD problems. It takes a couple of visits to get pre-earned badges to register. Annoying, and will make a mockery of the race to be number 1 for tomorrow's Kompanion. Come on Kong - mend it!

When I checked yesterday, I confirmed I had two of this game's badges. Now that it's on it's BotD day, neither badge registers as having been done, and neither reacts to anything I do now. Is something simply wrong with the site?

Once again, the BOTD is broken by the blocks challenge. The only way to beat this is to earn the BOTD before the day it becomes BOTD, then just keep spamming missing badge reports until it fixes itself.

This game would be 100x better if it were keyboard controls. Great concept with poor controls and implementation. 2/5.
