I loved this, I didn't get it the first time, but it was wonderful when I realized that each time you died the first child grew up to be the next one, and it was awesome.

After some tries I managed to get victor the fifth to the green lands (earliest possible victor since four victors got trapped)- just to see him surrounded by five ghosts (so six persons).

*Keeps getting killed by the same spikes he always forgets are there* Okay... I will not get killed by those spikes... I will not... *Gets hit by a snowball* Well... At least I didn't die by those spikes...

Not bad. One shot, one kill and always starting at the beginning make it a little tedious though. hit points or starting at the grave marker would help.

This concept is amazing.... I was kind of hoping for more.
Also we should get a chain going on how many Viktors it took to beat the game. It took 15 for me.

I love this game, and how the path is opened by the ones who came before, but for some reason, this game feels familiar... Have you ever played Rogue Legacy?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
not bad but at the end the path you had to retrace to get to the current area got a bit long. And soon the Viking will realize that he may have reached the other side but it was useless since he took nobody with him and has only a few years left

I love the game. I play it for a few minutes at a time, so I haven't beaten it quite yet. One thing, though: I think there should be a confirmation before deleting the saved data. I was just trying to turn off the sound and accidentally deleted my save from the last couple days (not a big deal, I know, but still a bit annoying since I only play a couple mins a day). Would also be nice if the sound/particle settings saved after closing. Other than that, 5/5. Very fun game!

Brilliant game. Simple yet full of surprises. Too bad there was not a way to kill snowmen. And I liked the leap of faith surprise. Hope to see more very enjoyable, very creative games from you.

I love this game... not by the walkthrought even when its very notable te effort in this, BUt i love the leason I undertood; our ancestors make the way, we must keep on it for those who walk after us

What makes me sad about this game is the number of Victors who died beyond blocked paths. Their sons would never find the final resting place of their fathers. Or know that their fathers died cold and lonely, locking themselves in frozen tombs that their son's might know warmth.

Mostly a fun game. Could use more polish with the short timer, backtracking, the jumping wasn't always as responsive as I'd like, and puzzles requiring more thought (to go along with more time allowed to complete them). Nice touch with the runes. Though I couldn't quite make sense of the larger one ("something high the dar"?), a smaller one said "Fresh Prince".

Ah, ah,
We come from the land of the ice and snow,
From the midnight sun where the hot springs flow.
The hammer of the gods will drive our ships to new lands,
To fight the horde, singing and crying: Valhalla, I am coming!

I'm surprised there are multiple women throughout the generations that don't mind having a child with someone whom has a family history of deaths.

I just love games like this one, i like the generation part mostly idk why but i just do maybe because it lets you to play through a way you helped yourself to make it easier...for yourself and maybe because it gives me the opportunity to make a story based on how well a Viktor fared, anyway very nice work done there the game is very good i would appreciate an upgrade system or even customization but it's still a good game :D 4/5 ;)

Pretty decent game. Concept is excellent, execution is mostly good. The only flaw, in my opinion, is that the further puzzle rooms are physically located further and further away, meaning you have to spend 10 "years" to get to the last puzzle every time you die. If you cut down on the travel time between puzzles you could put more stuff in to them. The only other comment is that most of the puzzles are fairly straightforward - see a switch, flip the switch. There's a *little* backtracking but most of the puzzles are fairly simple. Other than that, I liked it.

Viktor the ninth: Made it possible for the tenth to go all the way through.
Tenth: Accidentally trips over some spikes without doing anything.
Elleventh: Nails it.

Viktor XIII finally made it to the promised land but I can't help about poor Viktor XIV left as just a lad in a Frozen world alone bar wolves trolls random spear traps and the graves of his ancestors.

Viktor needs to lose some weight, maybe entire generations of his family dying will help! Also, all my Viktor's, or at least the ones who's graves I read, became supporting actors!
