Description

Dr. DNA is trapped in the lab with the escaped animals that he experimented on. His boss won't let him out until he tests the new DNA splicing Chemical on as many animals as possible!

We started this game in early January, and took advantage of Unity's intuitive and flexable animation crossfading, particle, and GUI systems to make a nice looking game in a very short period of time. We are going to continue working on the game and add the following:

-Boss Fights
-Alternate fires for both weapons
-More animals and combinations
-Replace all 2D with 3D objects (like menus)
-New Power Ups
-More dynamic camera
-More stages and bonus challenges
-Better collisions
-Better music and sound

@tomatoman - The game was advertised among many friends, and with a bit of networking, the creator managed to lure in many of us who would appreciate this game.
Join dates are near or after the game was posted cause to vote, we had to make an account on kongregate.

Hahah awesome end result! And in only a couple of weeks, Congratulations! I actually find the aiming more fun this way rather than if it were easier - in response to what someone else says. Just getting my opinion out there. Any bit easier and it would be too easy. I like anticipating the movement of the animals. If anything, I wish some of the animals wouldn't keep so still for so long after spawning. I feel there were too many of those to my taste. Maybe add difficulty settings? =D Make the hardest setting crazy, rabies-ridden or something...for fun. - and make that a part of the achievements.
Can't wait to play any of the updates mentioned!

Thanks DoubleWare! Actually we only had to worry about 6 characters because we developed an animation system that allowed us to swap out the top and bottom halves at the click of a button. And the Evil Dr. was just a texture swap. But yes, we were real busy! And thank you to everybody else who played and enjoyed the game. We had a blast making it even though it was stressful in such a short time period.

I think you should add more creatures, or add a new feature: When a creature is stunned and there is not a creature close enough to mix the two, and you still throw a bomb, it causes the creature to mutate.
