By the way, one original feature of this game is that you still get full stars even if you lose lives, even if you finish the stage with just one life left.. meaning you don't have to hit restard when one monster frustratingly gets through.

If you guys are having a hard time in any stage try geting hard on previous levels, Easy = 1 star, Normal = 3 star, hard = 6 star per level. Usually full earth do the trick up to stage 6(I only used triple stone tower), from 7 to 12 Earth + water (AoE 3-5 stone Tower + Slow/Freeze), 13-15 Fire + Air (Fire Guard for AoE, Air Reflector for pushback), with 2 Air reflector maxed and 1 Full Fire Guard you can almost Imobilize any monster, Also upgrade only the elements you are goning to use, then upgrade monk and magic skills.

The "Don't look down" stage is nearly unbeatable. How the hell are you supposed to deal 1600 damage to an armored giant with such short paths?

in the enemypedia, i'm honestly not sure if the percentages by each tower mean the they take more damage or less damage from that tower...

Good TD but pretty unbalanced, really do you think "easy mode" is about getting more gold? There is no balance with some towers - Upgrades like the Water tower which is totally useless on the 3 first levels. Also the IA of the towers sucks like hell, really there is no point on put strategically the towers because they always shoot the first fkn enemy no matter their type. Good try of making a good TD, but not at all.

It's kind of annoying when a game takes so long to load in, with all the different intro videos and loading screens. Does not start the player off in the right mood for the game.

I liked it, well balanced for me, knowing that you really have to go back and get some stars for upgrades periodically. Graphics, programming and sound are top notch!!

ok so I was like This is gonna be good; and then I went to upgrade and bam, no variations, how can you make a chosen versitle arsenal when they all do the same thing" specificaly speaking about the towers"

I've only finished the first 5 stages, but I think you have a great game here. The aesthetics are nice, the mechanics are simple and effective, and the game is accessible yet complex.
Given how little difference there is between the difficulty levels, I'm glad you had hard collect all the stars for a level.
Please consider changing the Description on the Fire Guard tower. The ROF is labeled "0.0" when it is actually "Continuous" with a Damage Per Second of something which I can't identify, unless its 29 DPS? You could list it as ROF 1.0 then. It would keep you from redesigning the tower label.

I upgraded only the fire tower and the monk... never used any other tower and rarely used any of the spells... I don't see why the developer didn't incorporate any additional attributes to the "different" tower types. Good game but not worth more than 10 minutes of playing in my opinion.

Well this just sucks. I thought maybe this was just too challenging for me but NO. For some reason the Keeper stopped shooting one of those fat giants because he was on fire and so he got thru and took 19 OUT OF 20 health points!!

I cannot seem to win lvl 8, even on easy. I got three stars from lvl 1-7, and maxed all the tower upgrades. Does anyone have a good strategy?

SoGood.com's intro: Nearly, but not quite, as bad as GameArk.com's intro.
And though I know it's not your fault, developer, please be mindful of those who don't want the volume on. Allow us to turn off the volume before we get to the intro cinematic and the animation that plays on the main menu. I'm assuming you may be restricted from allowing the SoGood.com cinematic from being muted, but if you aren't, then mute that stupid horrible POS. Every time I hear that little giggle sound, I die a little more.

level 12 is royally bugged, final boss golem spawns, I have exactly 20 lives and 0 other enemies on the map, golem is properly fixed by pushback towers... then BAMM outta nowhere it says "0 lives, you lost". As shitty as it gets.

I love strategy/defense games. And, I'm finding this one challenging! I am trying to customize my towers to the level and going back to get more stars. Still, I'm having trouble passing L7 on easy!

Some of many faults in writing: The first upgrade for the tornado says "Enemies get more damages." Last upgrade for Monk says "The Monk hurts stronger the enemies." ROF should be all capital letters. 1st upgrade for Rain says "The Rain exists longer."
Basically, you should rewrite almost all the descriptions for the Spells and for the Monk. All of them are very badly written.
You should check every single thing you've written, because a lot of it looks really bad.
Otherwise the game looks fine, but it doesn't keep up the pace of other, similar games.

I agree with Bethiee and I wonder if the game has already been updated? It's certainly easy enough now in hard mode. Also I see another of the complaints has been addressed, no need to replay levels to get all stars.
So, I think people are giving this game a hard time. It's not bad, about 7/10.
The issue for me is the same as almost every other TD ever made - ballance. As usually, I don't ever have to make some tower types since there are basically only two types - Arrow and AoE.
To end on another positive note - those wolf and tiger riders are really great looking enemies with fun looking charges. GJ

I've won 10 levels now on hard with a total of 6 retries, so difficulty seems reasonable. For people who are having trouble: Use your spells when the going gets tough, upgrade your monk and earth towers to full ASAP. Earth towers are pretty boss; Most of what they can't kill, your monk can kill, especially if you back him up with some fire towers. I didn't bother with slowing towers until level 9+, and tried never to use a tower that was not fully upgraded. Oh, and spells in general are a lot better after 3 upgrades. Rain especially saved my ass a bunch of times.

fairly easy, i do not know why people moan about this being to hard the bosses are not so hard, use the correct towers for the correct missions and you wont have so many problems, but all in all good game, but there is some messy grammar issues in this game make sure you go through and reread everything but 4/5 :) would be 5/5 if there was some melee units? i quite like it but that's only personal opinion well done http://www.kongregate.com/accounts/charstudio :)

Very nice graphics, the game layout and gameplay logic are looking very similar to Kingdom Rush. However the game balance is very poor, for example:
1) The game can be quite easily completed using earth towers *only* and spells, meaning all other tower types are pretty useless.
2) Some enemies are way too strong: needs rebalancing.
3) The difference between easy, medium and hard settings shouldn’t be about cash only. This is barely interesting for the player. There should be different waves of enemies in order to distinguish difficulty levels.
4) As already mentioned, enemies should have specific weaknesses and strengths related to the different tower types, and these should be clearly documented in the game itself. This should help rebalancing.
5) Some enemies are moving way too fast. It is more interesting for the player to raise difficulty by adding more enemies rather than having too fast moving enemies.

WTF!? great game, but seriously ive been grinding all night and still cant beat level 8 -_- max fire towers, max stone towers, monks almost maxed missing the last one, wind and water towers upgraded 3 times, magics upgraded 2 times each.. the heck am i doin wrong lol ive tried resetting and ive tried many variations, but nooooo its like impossible.. you need to work on numbers here, on extra buttons to allow towers to attack certain enemies when your being horded by like 100 at a time and everyones hitting the same guy for overkill damage yet the others just slip by. uh uh, unless this game gets some serious updates everyones gonna quit this game fast. 2 stars for now, check back in a few months see if this game has gotten better.

There is a bit of a balancing issue. Quite easy until Level 7. Can beat every level on Hard, thus have maximum upgrades. Fail terribly on Level 7 even with a variety of strategies. A big problem is that the towers don't get any special abilities until they are levelled up 3 times -- thus there is very little strategy in their initial placement.

The problem with star levels in these games is that u can keep replaying without gaining any experience... I find that to be a detrement to the fun
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Agreeing with some fresh comments... by levels 8 or 9, the game gets too difficult, the fun is over. Even in easy mode. Please fix that, and it will be a great game.
