You need both earth and air towers, just think carefully about arrangement. But, as a last resort, 3 Reflectors is enough to slow most bosses to a crawl. Try to get a stone charmer during wave 1. Water and fire towers are not worth the gold, dont use them on later stages. Unfortunately, towers always attack the leading enemy, you cannot change it.

Fun game but as others have stated needs lots of work. Level 7 is a ridiculous increase in difficulty. I have all stars up to that point but cant even beat easy. Tried several diff strategies but no go so far. The magician is way to fast with casting trees and doesn't seem to take any damage when his tress are up.

Ok, so: after I push PLAY, the game starts loading, then the annoying logo appears, and after that it starts loading graphics, and then the intro will display. Wow, that was some busy game start.

One of the best games, good athmosphere and many interesting enemies. It is true, however, that it is save to only use the more expensive upgrade branch of each of the four towers. Build at first the most expensive fire tower near to the end, then try to build one water and two air towers together. They will hold up almost completely the big bosses. With more air towers they hold up one enemy completely. Stone towers are no must, but nice to have one or two. Still, it is not too easy.

It's a good game, as the title suggests, and I noticed your endeavor to listen to your fan base and congratulate you for responding with updates in kind. What turned me off were all of the grammatical mistakes. It killed my immersion every time I found yet another grammar mistake on a new enemy card, a level description, even on the so-called "keeperpedia." I find it rather inexcusable for a professional game studio to not be able to afford an editor. The updated gameplay is much better and I quite enjoyed being able to earn six stars by playing the level once on hard mode instead of being forced to play the entire game threefold. I applaud your style, which put me in mind of both of the kingdom rush games, and also the ways in which this game wasn't a complete carbon copy.
Summary:Good game, helpful developers, newly balanced gameplay, not plagiarism, USE A SPELL CHECK!

Having beat every level on hard (took about 8 hours total) this was really enjoyable overall. Some of those resistances are really problematic. Those fast barbarians with 75% artillery resist make artillery almost useless in the later levels. At least the golems are slow. I always had to save earthquake for golem waves until I figured out to just not use artillery cause fire is so much better for aoe. That's probably my biggest criticism. Death valley lvl 5 seemed under-tuned. By the end each tower had some purpose except artillery. Energy tower was definitely the most useless tower upgrade. I REALLY liked the difficulty aspect. A lot of those boss kills are close and require planning.

Take some advice from me. Do NOT use the artillery towers at all for the last 4 levels on hard. The trick is to get a fire guard immediately and then use spells to get a powerful fire guard. When you have a well place powerful fire guard the rest of the game is pretty easy. I was convinced I had to use artillery for it's aoe but I was wrong. I can confidently say that it is practically necessary to not use artillery for the last ones
Use at least 2 powerful fire guards as your only form of aoe. The only towers you should use at all are super freezer, powerful fire guard, powerful reflector, and maybe a couple big fortified wells.

Only done first 5 so far but this seems purposely under tuned? With the right upgrades it's not even challenging. I'm a fan of this TD style just think the difficulty was set too low for hard mode. The big bulky guys aren't even getting half way there ;S

this game is great, but my goodness! I was jumping right to hard on all the levels, and then when i went to level 8, i couldn't win on easy! and i've reset my skills, trying anything I can, but it just doesn't work. great game but the difficulty spike is crazy!

Some of the things you complained are nonsence.
For example you criticise the earth tower...just look at the ballista tower of Kingdom Rush, it does the same thing, useless until you get the final upgrade form, but Kingdom Rush still a good game.
And the "play a map at least 3 times to get all stars" system is also works fine in Kingdom Rush.
It is a very good game. I think it's on the same level like Kingdom Rush and Incursion, which games are the best tower defence games.
First time it could be difficult to win, but after you figure the perfect strategy out, its a fun game.

Should have figured out something else for wind and the water towers. Wind is a toned down fire tower and water tower slow and freezing are about the same thing.

One easy way to handle the bosses as you get to higher levels is to have at least 2 reflector towers close together. If you max them out, the boss can barely move and just sits there while you shoot it.

As you don't need to upgrade Fire and Water Towers, cause the game is easy with just Wind, Earth and Spells..
Skill Air Towers first (First couple of Levels are easy with just Wind Towers)
Second Skill Monk. Then Earth and you just rush through the game..
I read a few Comments and most of them are right: Nice Game. Needs balancing and more resistances on Mobs. You need be forced into a greater choice of Towers.. (Maybe introduce a 100% resitance for a certain Element.

Perhaps game should be more punishing of monotowering (only stone + air pushback by having sequences of waves that will destroy you if you hoard towers of one or two types only) and be more tolerant of creativity with tower placement (mixing towers of all types in different ways) perhaps with a bonus if an enemy is hit with towers of multiple types.

I have played OH-so many games of this type, and while it... WAS enjoyable, the Medium mode should be easier, and the Easy mode should be MUCH easier... I mean, I can't even get passed level 4...

Seems familiar, but is certainly playable. Challenging enough to hold your attention, variable options for tower assignments, but not so difficult as to cause frustration. Yeah, I'll play it again.

Everything feels off about this game. The towers, wizard and elements are weaklings. The fast-forward button does nothing.
