I don't see the point in the awards, other than just because. Maybe if you started with 10 lives and added 1 life per award gained, it would make them worth pursuing. Plus it would address some of the difficulty issues.

I've figured out how to win. You know how this game should be all about zen and balance. Screw that and put everything into the stone towers then build up your sage and spells.

The horsemen don't appear quickly enough in the Mysterious Woods. Normally I don't place my chin on my hand out of impatience, but that really killed my energy waiting. Reform the spawn rate of these horsemen.

Overall good gameplay BUT some of the levels seem to be much too hard to complete. This takes away from enjoying the game.

Needs a slightly bigger buff from upgrades, especially the last ones should be pretty awesome, but they are all pretty generic and don't seem to make much difference.

Oh, and a last comment on upgrades: Put nothing into the keeper; upgrade towers as they're very strong, upgrade the Earthquake (it's such a strong spell), and the fireball: it's weak at first but with upgrades can deal a good amount of damage.

Hint: Earth towers are strong at lvl4, but the lvl5 upgrade isn't worth it. Get 1 at the start immediately, and when possible place more. Air towers are your friend: They're the best single-target dps and two lvl5s can knockback a boss enough to guarantee the kill. However, upgrading to lvl4 is a very minimal increase in dps, so judge carefully whether you need it. Enemies have hidden elemental defenses, so you'll need fire towers as well for single-target dps. Don't upgrade them beyond lvl3, they get terrible. Good luck everyone! Just beat lvl9, keep trying with strategies and what towers to use! (p.s. so far, water towers have been too expensive to be good, as they don't get strong until Freezer; Air knockback is better and Earth AoE is stronger.)

I'm a sucker for TD and this game challenged me just enough until lvl 7 hard. No way to gain more XP so I had to rejig the upgrades and stop diversifying on towers. I'm at lvl 9 hard now, but lvl 8 was harder than 9! Recommend that charstudio ease up a bit at lvls 7 and especially 8. Looks like you're getting a big dropoff of players there. That said, I like the game.

I can see from the comments that I am not the only one who is finding level 8 impossible to beat even with ALL of the previous stars. I have tried a variety of tower placement and upgraded skills and yet it is impossible. I will give the devs through the weekend to address or fix this issue before I give up on this game forever and give it the lowest rating I possibly can.

WTF i cant beat level 8 on EASY!... even tho i have all the stars on all previous levels.. and have tried several configurations with my skills and tower placement on the level...

this is not going to take me away from the cursed treasure folks.
That said, the ideas were good, the execution needs a little work. the game has too few options for placement and the towers are a bit whimpy ininteresting.
it feels like playing with the toddler sized legos. fun but not quite like playing the big kids version

can't upgrade towers, there's not enough $$$. I got all sorts of upgrades implemented already and I can't even beat level 8 on easy. I quit

I'd like to play the game from the beginning again. But there's no reset button that I can find. soo... can't replay.

Some things to note from my previous post: Earth does more DPS than Fire if it's hitting 3+ targets, and more DPS than Air for 2+ targets. Air does average 25% less damage than Fire, but is far cheaper, and will waste less shots from an enemy dying while the projectile is in midair. Upgrading Earth and Water from lvl 2 to lvl 3 gives much more bang for your buck than lvl 1 to lvl 2. Because Water has a slow rate of fire, do not put it in the middle of curves, it will spend the majority of its time reloading, instead put an Air or Fire. Earth works the best at the beginning of waves so that it can weaken everything for later towers to clean up.

Quick cheat sheet for towers lvl 1-3 DPS to a single target. Format is Element-Level:DPS F-1:5 F-2:10 F-3:18.1 __ W-1:3.1 W-2:5.1 W-3:14 __ A-1:3 A-2:7.7 A-3:15.5 __ E-1:1.7 E-2:3.1 E-3:8 Remember that Earth does AoE damage, Water slows, and Air is less likely to waste a shot due to an enemy's death than Fire, but Fire does the highest DPS. Also remember that upgrades change these values, and this does not account for gold cost.

Speed up the speed up button and let me skip the waves earlier. At times you wait for one weak enemy to move before you can skip...

This game isn't a ripoff of Kingdom Rush ; having allotted spots for your towers is a standard feature of TD games in general. If you want to say that this game is a spinoff of something, try Avatar the Last Airbender. At least it would make sense :)

The problem I have with this game is that only 3 towers are good (Charmer of Stones, Reflector and Fire Guard), and the rest of the towers are just pale copies of these three. Energy tower? Just a watered down version of Fire Guard. Water towers? Sure, they can slow or freeze, but reflectors *move enemies backwards*, which is way better! Watchtower? It's just a joke compared to Charmer of Stones because 3 stones = 3 times the damage. Hell Lighthouse is not that bad but you don't really need it since Powerful Fire Guard has a great AOE effect in addition to its normal effect. So there are effectively only 3 towers in the game as far as I'm concerned ;)

I agree with the comment about the awards... if they don't get you anything, then what's the point to even having them exist. Also, it would be nice if the priest can be moved along the pathway.

I would like to see some incentive for getting achievements. Perhaps a increase of base cash for each achievement you get. Overall a good game, but finding the right combination of towers/spells to defeat higher levels is tricky.

Game feels like a bad spinoff of Kingdom Rush. Needs a lot of balancing/polish/changes before it'll be anywhere close to that level of quality though. The grammar in the upgrades section needs a lot of work too.

Oh, lord, that Frozen Peak level on Hard was.. really hard. I tried about ten times using earth and air and finally used water and air. The fully upgraded water towers were my only defense against tree wizards, though, and I had to let one slip past. The only way that I beat the level was to never let the next wave come early, so I could have time to regenerate my spells.

Here's a tip;
Pass all the levels in easy first, then in medium and finally in hard. it will give you the full amount of stars depending the level, so instead you get 3 stars if you do it this way you'll get 6 stars, hope it helps!
