Oh my god, I LOVE the Phoenx Wright games that you based this off of/were inspired by. This game is both entertaining and educational! What more could you want beside Billy's Deer Repellent??!!

I came close to nearly hating this game thanks to the tutorial and level 1 but after that the game actually became rather good. However the game crashes a lot (at least for me it does) which severely hampered my enjoyment of the game. While the questions and challenges mechanic worked fairly well I think that a better mechanic to go with would be to pick a line of dialog as the challenge thing was a little obtuse at times. Over all I think you had a marvelous idea but that the idea was executed rather poorly. But please do make more games like this, it's rather interesting to battle with people without guns or swords but with words.

I love this so much!!! After reading a post about from a flash game maker about how they think flash gaming is dying I've been worrying about whether or not they could be right. Then, you come out of nowhere and make something original, thought-provoking, and fun. I really appreciate that!

I suddenly realized Ari says "Purple is the best color." because she's wearing purple and you say green is because you're wearing green. XD

"thus whatever god commands must be good" is but not to our stupid philosophers . Because of that a rate this game low

This is a great game and was really enjoyable. I love this genre, even though it's not really a genre, and it was well executed. I just wish it wasn't so painful whenever I saw the problem in a sentence, but then I had to use the commands to pick apart at his statements until I can finally point out the problem. I suppose there's not to much of a way around this, though.

I'm afraid to criticize this game, because your rebuttal might make me look like a fool. Gotta think... is my argument sound?... Ok, here goes. Because humans are flawed, they sometimes click too early during the scenes between debates. Such scenes are an important part of the game's entertainment value. Therefore, it would be nice if there was a short backlog so you could immediately go back and read any accidentally skipped text with a minimum of hassle. If it happens during a debate, you can just ask the same question or use the same challenge again, but no such option exists during the other scenes. And, once the game autosaves, the missing line is gone forever unless you start over from the beginning. So, a backlog would be quite, uh... salubrious.

This game really deserves "philosophical" tag, as opposed to many pretensious platformers and indie games. The only problem with it, is that I don't see how dialogue tree branches out. I can only assume, what Jones will say. If I figure out a counterargument, it still takes time to understand, what will trigger it in the game.

This was the most wonderful game on Kongregate I've ever played. I learned things about philosophy I never learned in school and it was fun while I learned. You people from the developing team really, really rock. I only have one question to ask: When I'm in NYC, why do I have to drive through a forest to get to school?

I love the leaning against the fourth wall aplied in the discussion with Mill. "Might make a great game though"
Overall epic game. Taught me a lot.

This game is really fun.
But the Phoenix Wright world reference was my favourite.
I am glad you guys are so self aware.

A fun, Ace Attorney-esque , humorous and educational game. Truly unique. I'm not the hugest fan of philosophy but this was very interesting, also I can see this type of gameplay offering plenty of opportunities for successful sequels featuring other themes. I loved it.

I feel that socrates missed one important point. What if the great thinker said same answer that Jones? The first arbiter couldn't refuse that option by history. Everything match to this.

I think I'm in love. Can I please give all of my money to you to make a Pro Philosopher franchise, educate everyone who plays games, and make the world a better place?

Thank you for this game, i always wanted too but struggled learning some basic philosophy without reading long lines of text that seem to head nowhere.

I have to find “the nature of morality”... wait a minute!
1. If i call dog “the nature of morality”, it will called “the nature of morality”
2. Arbiter cant tell me how does “the nature of morality” must look like because he would give me the answer
Am i right?

This game was thoroughly enjoyable, though hard and getting stuck sometimes; it was the perfect way to spend an afternoon, broadening our mind to several opinions. 5/5 Author, GG.

First and foremost - loved it. This game is very nicely done, makes good points and the ending is spot on. Also Phoenix Wright reference, yay.
The only problem was inability to present the points I _really_ want to present, but no such option is given. Not as though it CAN be given, but it irritates a bit - in a game that requires actual thinking abd analyzing of arguments, if game doesnt' present you an opportunity to say something close to what you want, it breaks the gameplay a bit. But I'm grateful to even be able to rise this point - it shows how well this game is.
5/5 overall, great job. (and sorry for my english)

After finishg game I must say that it's biggest flaw is, well, big jumps. Few times(2 I think) I found myself knowing what is wrong, but unsure on what to click for best effect. I do realize that it's impossible to account for everything, and it's still great game.
It also looks great as a whole. As I tend to look at games from design PoV,at middle of game I realized what will be final answer, and got very curious how it'll be handled. After finishing game, I think it was handled very well. Overall, after completion it gave me feel of game where everything important is very polished, and completion is very satysfying. And earlier 5/5 is entirely justified. Only sad thing - it's over, and due to form,it neither has great replay value(as you already know how to lead discussion, and 'dead branches' don't give any interesting results, game is linear), nor I can see how it would be possible to create sequel, but maybe it's just me not knowing enough 'universal questions'. Still great game.

Wish there was some way to fast forward the text, or at least make the text appear immediately and not scroll. Otherwise it's a fun game!

I laughed, I thought, I got frustrated, and I think I might even have learned a few things. Really great game, well designed, well written. I am very impressed.

I can honestly say I've never before played a game that made me wag my finger at the screen and argue with cartoon characters. "No! That's wrong!" :)

By the way, when you create a game that makes me feel like a badass by cutting through core philosophies, and then makes me feel like sh*t for feeling like a badass (good lord, ari...) then, i do believe you've made a hell of a game.

Excellent game! Very well done in virtually every aspect. I have spent many years debating philosophy, but I never imagined it would translate this well to a game format. The only thing that I'm disappointed about was that my other teacher (the first being Socrates himself) was only mentioned...not brought out. I would have loved to have seen your take on Nietzsche's work. 6/5 regardless though.

I get frustrated with the game because I just want to say that it doesn't make sense and why it doesn't make sense. I don't always understand which magical cross examine will start his spiel.

It kind of sucks having studied ethics enough to have meaningful discussions on euthyphro, but being unable to navigate the control system well enough to play the game.
