Couple of things that are annoying me; in occupation tab numbers would normally be in the format 500,000,000 rather than 50,000,000,0 which seems more confusing (maybe scientific notation would be good); I own $3,051,620,901 and can't buy the upgrade markd as being $50,000,000,0

Was anyone else reduced to what is the equivalent of strategically slamming on your keyboard to make the bar go faster?
The game saves using a shared object, like most flash games you will find on kongregate, therefore your data should not be lost from turning off your pc, i will look into another alternative for saving to try make it so this never happens again.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

"Fun" idle game is a bit of a stretch I'm afraid.
I think you've got a good base to work off but you need something else for the player to do while they try to earn enough cash to get PHP. Perhaps have them troubleshoot family and friend's broken computers as a little cash earning mini-game?

This looks a lot like someone else's work, but he made it in HTML5/Javascript. Same stuff with bar progress, different program languages you could buy, different programmers you could buy, all look the same.

It's an interesting game, but even with 10$ to begin the game as really slow beginning. It takes something like 10 minutes to get the first php employee, and I won't speak about getting the first occupation...

Well the idea of typing in your keyboard to progress amuses me :) howerver the manual progress is way too little to be taken seriously. Also, the languages are neither sorted by learning curve nor by usefullness... Something like this makes a bit more sense (sorted from silly to dificult): Html -> Excel -> Batch -> Flash -> Lua -> Python -> Javascript -> Unity -> Shell -> PHP -> Java -> C# -> C++ -> C -> Assembly. Cheers~

so if it takes 10x longer to fill the bar for 10x the payout, why upgrade occupation? you should still be making the same money/hour

did anyone else start typing song lyrics to make the keyboard smashing seem less tedious? maybe implement in the game. you need to write phrases to fill the bar and it will fill faster

There should be an option to buy/sell 1000 programmers at a time, this is the only reasonable way to make progress when you have a maximum of 10,000/100,000+ programmers
Already a part of the next update, as well as bulk selling and a lot of other features, the update will be finished either tonight or tomorrow.
Thanks for the feedback :)

Some suggestions for enhancing gameplay:
1) add commas to separate the different monetary incriments. ie, x,xxx, xxx for 'x' million and x,xxx for 'x' thousand. This makes is easier to find out how much money you actually have.
2) When anything is open, it covers how much money you actually have, thus making it difficult to see what you can and can't afford. Add you current amount to each screen where you purchase something.
3) I can't remember how many employees of each type I have to fire, or if I fired them all until I get back to the main screen. Perhaps add a number of each you currently own on the employees tab.
4) Good job so far :)

Nothing super special unless it gets developed further, but cute enough game. Definitely needs multibuy button though. And since there was no auto clicker I just made a typing macro that works just as well. Thanks for the game.
Press ctrl when buying to bulk buy 25 of the employee, if you can not afford 25 it will buy as much as possible.
Another update will be added tonight to allow bulk buying of 100, bulk selling of 25 and 100 as well as some other changes.
Thanks to you and all the other people who suggested this :)

It's too short. Definetely needs AT THE VERY LEAST a x10 buy button, because "late-game" (like 10 minutes after you start, because you reached SR) it gets too long to buy employees. Again, waaay too short, because when the SR is reached you just need to fill the bar 50 times to get another SR level, and then the employees get waaay too slow. Needs something more.

Now that i have "finished" the game, i gotta say its very short for an idle game, once you get the best language you just wait for more money to buy more programmers and when full, better occupation and then workers again, gets very boring

The start kills this game, change it or never is going to take it seriously. It takes forever to fill the bar, and you have to do it at least five times to get a helper

Not being able to idle from the start pretty much kills any Idle game in 2015, having it keyboard only so I can't auto-click it is even worse :(
Noticed that quite a few people liked your idea so i have changed the starting cash to $10, thank you and the people who up-voted this for the feedback :)
