I really enjoy this game. at this point I have conquered the world multiple times. can we get more purpose now? perhaps new buildings or even countries?
The current world conquest multiplier gain for the altar has greatly caused an imbalance with my game allowing people to conquer the world 2+ times per day. Unfortunately with that imbalance in place I can't realistically add new buildings or allow building in conquered countries as gains are already too high. I'm going to make a forum post regarding this for a discussion so check the forums in a few minutes. ~Taiga

Yes, I was confused about the income from conquered countries. It takes 8 seconds to complete, and in Kingdom Overview/Countries Ehl reads 658,834 gold income.. Ahh, now I understand that the actual income is 82,354 per second. Just found the problem.

It would be nice if you could attack multiple countries (that you border) at once, and it would be nice if you could choose how much force to use instead of whatever it is set at (which takes a while in the harder countries).
I would have to rework 2 massive scripts to accommodate this kind of update. So it can't happen due to all kinds of issues that might come from this (including balancement issues). ~Taiga

My total income from all conquered lands is 68,919 gold. But "Cora" alone should already give me 292,818 gold, plus 195,210 from Uzira.. etc. I'm not even getting a fraction of what they should give.
That can't be right since my Kingdom Overview update has been out for over a month and you are the first person to mention this. There is likely something that you are confused about. However if you use pastebin and PM me your saved file by using our export feature I will take a look at it. ~Taiga

So I refreshed my browser and all dark knights I had acquired previously are gone. I will leave the rating I gave before as it is, but I'm afraid I won't continue playing your game, because I don't have the patience to start over from scratch.
I wish you good luck with the further developments of this otherwise fun game.
How do your dark knights just disappear but everything else is okay? My code doesn't work like that. If you are going to lose something it's all or nothing and that would only be caused by issues unrelated to my game. I have a very stable serialization system put in place but the nature of browser games doesn't allow for perfect data stability. That is why nearly every game on this website allows you to export saves including ours. We REALLY encourage people to start exporting in case this does happen. I personally have never witnessed an incident of data loss since my game was released and I'm testing it nonstop every day. ~Taiga

would be nice for the ocd compliant buy to display the cost of only buying up to the next 10/50/100 rather than the next 10/50/100, if i purchase shortly before I can afford the full 100 it shows the new cost is more even though it stops before spending all of it
I originally released the multi buys like that and the comments filled up with complaints so I changed it. Therefore I won't do this because its' one of those can't win either way situations. ~Taiga

@PosthumousPoet: you need to realize that all building(or separate into group of econ vs military, pretty sure it's all thou) grow in cost at the same ratio. Therefore, the cost ratio of building 1 lv of building will be EXACTLY the same as that of 10, 50, 100 or even 87.2158 for that matter. Therefore your point is moot other than the fact player might need to change the checkmark to see.

To everyone concerned about the gap-to-100 from an uneven number in cost... showing it the other way would get rid of any means of comparing the cost of buildings outside of the x1 buy pattern. If you're not at a 100 marker, you can still buy up to the x100 cost if you can afford it... and if you're working with OCD, it's already at a hundred marker, so it's accurate. I don't understand.

I think it is hard to calculate the 'actual cost'. If I have 30 farms, cost shows 'buy 100', but actual cost is smaller than that because next I buy computer will buy 70. So computer has to show me the 70 farms cost, not 100. Actually I don't check the cost, just click XD. But I write this in case of you've not noticed. Thank you

Now that you buy building rounding to the next tenth, the cost must reflect this, and not the full cost of 10 buildings

It would be neat if the map lore changed after you defeated them. Say her speaking about the battle or the after effects, rather than just a big X over it.
It's never been a priority. The only reason it was released is because I already had it coded and it was a really really fast thing for me to do. I didn't even use an hour of time coding it. That is likely the last time I will code anything for an OCD due to the number of complaining going on after I code something for an OCD. Being given the runaround is a fast way for a developer to lose a ton of time lol. Sorry about that. ~Taiga

Not sure if it's part of a new patch or a bug of some sort, but the "Buy X" boxes now buy to the nearest multiple of X, instead of buying X things (ex: using "Buy 100" on something with 170 built buys 30 to get to 200, instead of buying 100 to get to 270). Makes it a pain to try and advance purchases at an even rate.
It's intended and part of the patch. If I remove it people will complain about the numbers not rounding. If I keep it people are complaining about other things. I'm pretty much backed into a corner now so I've decided to keep it how it is. Sorry about that. ~Taiga

Maybe some more achievments would be nice, like have 100/200/300 of everything, conquer 1/3/5... other countrys or reset 1/5/10... times

Dear Taiga - I like the game; I truly do. I rated the game 5/5 stars, and I favorited it. I only have one suggestion. You should add the ability to purchase a 1.1 multiplier for any of the main currencies: gold, troops, and DKs. You could maybe charge like 10 kreds for the gold and troop multipliers, and 15 - 20 kreds for the 1.1 DK multiplier. Thank you for making this game one of my favorite time-wasters.

My RPG concept will be a Steam release candidate it's actually going to be a very serious story with serious gameplay. Just don't have the team to do it right now. I don't know why such a great game like this has a rating of 3.8, that doesn't really makes any sense, look at the people in the rooms, They even reached 200+, that shows how many people play this game, The rating is sick.
The game may be better now but it had a really beyond awful release and we got a lot of 1 stars due to our buggy and unprofessional release. Not a whole lot we can do about that except take it as a lesson learned for future games. This is only the 2nd game we've ever made. Next game will be so much better since we've gotten a lot of great feedback with Idle Conquest. Thank you for your kind words Clemons! <3 Taiga

Awesome update, this game is really fun, and I can't wait for the big update (well, technically, I can wait, but you get my point). Also, weird little graphics bug that just popped up: on the Map screen, Queen Catherine now covers up the pop-up that tells you about each country you can conquer.

In my opinion it's OK to ask for ratings as long as they've kept their promises and attempt to respond with us. I've dealt with a few of those games that didn't, so I think you're not in the red zone yet.
I have a grudge against some people who don't think being a solo developer is something to care about, it reminds me of the whole goddamned corporation overrule in USA all over again.

I'm to the point where i can conquer the world a few times a day. While i'm enjoying the conquering, I'm also looking forward to some content updates. If i don't get them soon, I'll keep playing but I'm taking the sheep.

Ive read lots of complaints about the devs threatening to abandon the game if it didnt get 5 stars and stay on the front page. I just want to point out that the devs are just 2 people, with their own lives to deal with. They DO care about the players and the game actually being fun, rather than just throwing out random content. Their activity is proof. When they say "If it doesnt stay on the front page, we're going to stop updating the game", I dont believe its a threat, but a poorly worded fact. They arent just trying to make a good game, theyre trying to make a successful game. If the game falls off the front page, the plays fall too, and if nobody plays the game, it isnt successful. My point is they only have time to work on one thing, and if this becomes a sinking ship, theyll have no choice but to move on, or give up on becoming successful writers. Theyre not demanding ratings and holding updates hostage, theyre asking for a chance to continue to add them. Thats what I see anyways
It's very difficult to word that without sounding threatening but trust me, we promised updates and you're getting the exact amount of updates that were promised. We are looking towards the future such as new maps to conquer and what not and that is why we need support so we can keep adding to the game BEYOND the promised updates. But if plays drop too far we'll have to jump ship and start on a new project. It's due to the fact that we don't have unlimited time to work on things. Sorry for the misunderstanding this all has caused. ~Taiga

There is a bug since the last update - all buildings above the Market don't show the change in price when you mark the button to build 10, 50 or 100. They charge the right price though, you just can't see how much you're paying before you do it.
