Army power is pretty useless except for conquering maps. But the amount of gold needed seems to be harder to achieve than the army needed.
Maybe a suggestion is to remove the gold required and increased the Army required. So conquering of map will be a pure army play.
That will make it fun for us to grow our army base too.

No, i can confirm that the 3 rd upgrades of economic buildings does not rise the reward untill you buy another building

I asked the same thing and i was told by taiga it does. @EveryoneComplainingConqueringSucks: Yes, it sucks, but they have plans to do some sort of upgrade about it (eventually) so we can just wait. I usually dont conquer at all and i rather to save my money to get more knights

I feel like conquering countrys costs to much compared to the benefit especially since the dark knights dont scale up what you get from the conquered. If you added dark knight scaling to that I think it would make said system balanced out pretty well =)

The amount of dark knights doesn't seem to affect the conquered countries that much. For example, I have around 170k dark knights, and Astrila only provides 25,372 gold and 51 troops (originally 25,000 and 50). Even if this is intentional, it's way too little rewarding and not worth it, including other countries.

the upgrade add 2 to gold gain multiplier is really disappointing. Say i have 55 multi. from dark kights, +2 multi upgrade will change gold mine gain from 1.12 mil to 1.15mil!! And the more dark kights I have, the more pointless this upgrade.
And being able to upgrade country conquered by troops would give building up army more credit. I only build gold buildings and then built more altars now after reset

Just an issue: You can't exactly use the multibuy for the first building of it's kind... That bothers me immensely, for some reason.

Not like it matters to much developer, and it's probably just a funny glitch, but when I pull the scrollbar with my mouse, all the way up, the grab handle disappears until I scroll again. Kind of fun to do actually. LOL

Garrisons do obviously make sense. I was only trying to present an idea, not give flak (which I know you have taken enough of lately). I know I was a bit shocked when first seeing the casualties under the old system is all. Please do keep implementing your version of a game for us. Perhaps you might think about offering bonus content to monetize your game a bit more? (Instead of just through the ads)
It's something to consider but I wouldn't dare try to monetize on this game right now as it feels unfinished. I wanted to make a more realistic war strategy game but you know they can get really in depth and the people who enjoy them are more of a 'niche' audience. We just thought we would have greater appeal by simplifying the process. Plus, to make a really good serious strategy game, we would need a lot more complex math and using a lot more floating point precision variables, people in idles seem to get offended if you don't show them all the math going on for some reason. So that was another reason for simplification. Or we'd have a stats screen showing things like "Success rate: .002385803%" which would be based on a precision % of this and that and it'd just succeed in frustrating people. Sometimes, math is best kept hidden for this reason. But I simplified the math greatly in the last update in preparation for the Kingdom Overview screen which I hope people will enjoy. ~Taiga

dunno if this is a glitch or not but when i went to atk a nation it finished but after it finished the money i spent on atking went 2 times instead of only at the begining

@CoderiftStudios I don't think it was so much sending all the soldiers to fight that was the problem, but the length of real time involved in the war and the fact that there were so many excessive casualties for Touria. Unless you are trying to present Touria as a nation with very weak overall military, but massive manpower, (which there was a comment suggesting something like this once) there is no reason the war should be so drastically one sided, even with the eventual "win". Outnumbering your opponent over 100 to 1 yet still occurring over a 100 to 1 casualty ratio generally is not very realistic. Usually this sort of thing was done historically through major tactical or terrain advantages (or idiocy on the part of enemy commanders). I take it the army power versus troop number ratio show Touria as the weaker military ... but why? Perhaps addressing this question in the game would have helped players to accept the bloodbath.
I like the new system. It makes much more sense. You don't send every soldier in your country to fight a war. Plus as you gain more countries you'll need to have to keep more soldiers behind to defend each country. I mean these are the basic ideas behind war strategy games, we just oversimplified it for this idle game. So this is what I've done and I'm sticking with it! Thanks for playing. ~Taiga

i am having a problem.. so the number of troops that i sent in the conquest is far smaller than what i currently have (have 12,5m armies but only sent 60k in the 1st conquest and 800k in the 2nd conquest).. it had happen twice in a row for my case.. is this a bug or thats the actual thing after the update??? thanks

Seems that upgrades doesnt work at first, I bought the 3 rd farm upgrade ( wich gives +2 to multiplier ) and farm gain does not rise until i buy another farm

i found the game quite nice until i read this:
"I will be taking a break to let this new update settle in and see how our playcount / rating is. If you want to see the bigger content we have planned, support us. Otherwise… well…"
well... games get support when they deserve it not when people that want to see more HAVE TO (mostly fake) support. To me, you're thinking it wrong but it seems that most dev are doing it that way ("pay first then i'll might work").

Devs are entitled to take a break too. Especially Taiga who is working a full time job 50 hours a week as well as handling 99% of the programming for this game. The rating thing is simple business. If the rating is too low when the game is no longer getting featured on the front page, it will be buried on page 10 or so and will never see the light of day again. Therefore we need your rating and support to feel safe in continuing to expand this game, as opposed to spending those hours on a different game. Taiga's post might have came off a little emo, I apologize for that, But the meaning is black and white common sense. Thanks for playing!

-1 star for pressuring players to rate your game high to see the game developed rather than the other way around. The idle genre has a lot of competitors, and I think the positive feedback since you released this game has gone to your head. If your group is flaky enough to bail on your project when you dip X amount of points, that's really something you should keep to yourself. Bad attitude dev. If it continues I'll keep deducting stars.

I liked your attittude until now, you were answering comments and making good promises for the game, but now we get a "If you want to see the bigger content we have planned, support us. Otherwise… well…" and none of the promises have been delivered.
Sorry that you don't like our attitude 0.o. However the rating thing is just the nature of the business. As a developer we have to look at the time its going to take to do things, and consider if the game will stay alive long enough to finish them. at 3.7 its defiantly on shaky ground, as once its not showing on the front page anymore, our hits will go down to nothing =\. Point is. If you like the game and want to continue seeing more. We need your 4 or 5 star rating. If saying that = bad attitude. Sorry =(.

An upgrade should be you overthrow your queen; for 3x profits in all gold production since she isn't buying random garbage.

Animal Husbandry upgrade doesnt seem to be working, or i dont understand the Gold multiplier ... had 23k hold income from farms before upgrade, still have the same income ...

Suggestion: Instead of give achievements that give bonuses which are completely negligible if you make any sort of progress (Excepting DK achievements,) how about having them reduce the multiplier cost for calculating future purchases?

i think i found a bug :P prices are wrong. i am buying a market 297 and its saying i need 3,514,249.45 to buy but i get over 300,000 and i can buy. shud prob check that out
Yeah, we had it working the correct way to show how much you could afford, but everyone was confused so we changed it to the current system. Probably wont be changed again until we get another big update ready.

Need dps meter! Cathedral seems to be useless because of ridiculous cooldown but I can't be sure without checking actual DPS :/.

How do I conquer a country? I have the troops, power, and gold needed but when I click the countries on the map or the list nothing happens.

there is a funny bug, when i made a dark knight reset my farm (14) shows a cost of 20.869,56. But i can still buy new ones for 60.
