Under rating threshold (show) Appears to be a bug when saving. My last run I had accumulated quite a bit so therefore was able to proceed forward with purchases/upgrade etc. However all of that is gone even after forcing the save in options. Disappointing.

Can you PM me a little more information? We take all reports of data loss extremely seriously. I need to know your OS, browser version, as well as what security settings its at (one theory is that it may be related to security settings preventing the save write to disk, or something along those lines). Sorry for the error! We continue to try to aggressively hunt down any and all sources of data loss!

Under rating threshold (show) I've only just conquered the second territory, so what I'm about to suggest may already be implemented somehow, but I'll share my thought regardless: I think there should be a sort of defense mechanic where a country's loyalists might incite a rebellion and the only way to maintain control of the territory is by ensuring your military presence in that country is sufficiently high. Maybe by building military outposts and fortresses and sending troops from your mainland to garrison said outposts. Just a thought. Great idle game regardless and now that the performance issues have been resolved, it's one of my current favorites, 5/5.

I don't understand the problem? The altar generates dark knights which are granted to you on a reset, which sets all gains except for achievements back to 0. however you now gain far more gold per cycle with the dark knights and can get back to where you were faster.

We were originally trying to keep things simple, but feedback has shown that you guys want more complexity, minor UI rework coming at some point. Right now we are busy with yet more little bugs that cropped up that need fixing. hopefully by tomorrow we should be back to work on the actual content!

Under rating threshold (show) defeating an enemy country shouldnt take what feels like an hour to conquer when your troops are measured 16:1 and army power is 3:1 I have outclassed them in everything.. it shouldnt take 10mins for 150mil troops to kill 5mil.

Army power/troop starts out low, You need dark knights to boost the gain! Lots of them!

Under rating threshold (show) I think conquering countries takes too long - the speed at which you kill the enemy troops should atleast be based on your army's power.

We may implement something like this in the future. Or perhaps allow you to send nothing but dark knights to fight for very fast victory, but the chance of loosing some knights, which will impact your production bonus! Nothing is set in stone yet because we are still busy addressing some lingering glitches and issues. all that should be cleared up by this weekend hopefully and we can start moving forward!

Under rating threshold (show) Maybe I am missing some important modifier(s), but the gold gain in this game currently seems very slow compared to troop gain, considering gold is used for 3 resources (buildings, upgrades, attacking countries), while troops/army power are only used for 1. I have been emphasizing gold generation (and dark knight production) much more than troop production since I started, about 3 1/2 days ago. I have reset 3 times, trying to hit achievement checkpoints and a decent mass of dk's between each reset. I'm sitting on about 200k dk's, 400 achievement on farm/market/goldmine, and still find myself waiting a LONG time for gold to slowly filter in so I can attack countries that I have long since passed the troop/army power requirement.

We are currently looking at an issue related to some achievements not giving the proper boost, once thats resolved we will see what the proper pacing looks like and make adjustments accordingly!

Under rating threshold (show) It would be better if there is something else we can do with troops other than conquering countries.. ..Declaring dictatorship? Martial Law? ...Maybe introducing tax increase.. That sort of things. Otherwise.. At this point, with low return from the countries, not much of use. Or used to upgrade the countries conquered instead of gold.. ...Does wonders, although national moral or something like that would go down.. ..Depends on what you implement, I guess. :}

Will be adding other concepts for troops soon, including an altar sacrifice option, and perhaps a way to upgrade countries with them. Not 100% sure on that last one yet! Thanks for playing!

Under rating threshold (show) when I reset, my achievements were still there, but do those achievements actually do anything anymore, or do I have to get to the next tier of achievements in this playthrough to actually get a benefit from the achievements?

There is an issue at current with the background math for a few of the achievements that we are trying to fix, Also making a few adjustments to the way things work in the process. Rest assured that we will not release a patch until we are sure of 2 things: 1, there will be no need of a hard reset, or data loss because of the change. and 2, any achievements you have already earned will still be there, and will give the proper boost! Sorry for the problem, and Thanks for playing!

This happens to a few people for some reason =/. Unfortunately its not something we have control over, as we have discovered no way to reliably reproduce it, or have any influence over it in code (since the player has to actually load for our game to even run line 1 of code). We are sorry for the inconvenience. If you could send us some information in PM, we can forward it to Unity Technologies as a bug report and hopefully speed up the fix! primarily need OS version, and browser type/version!

You did a dark knight reset and not a hard reset right? I have an API submitting people's dark knight counts and it would show 0 if nobody was getting them after a reset. So this makes your issue curious to me. Could you give me any details? Are you sure you had more than 0 accumulated prior to resetting? It takes about 10 minutes after building an altar to gain some. ~Taiga

Under rating threshold (show) First - gotta love a dev that is responsive and fixes problems. Via PM, I know the math issues I saw earlier are getting fixed. Second - for those that think Dark Knights are wimpy, keep in mind that (a) they are meant to be used is massive bulk (think millions instead of thousands) and (b) they apply to ALL economic boosts so 10,000 Dark Knights gives you a 100% boost across the board, a million of them gives to a 10000% boost. It adds up but it takes time. Isn't that the point of an idle game anyway??? :-)

Under rating threshold (show) Well, a screen refresh got me a boost for my Market and Gold Mine, but the math is still "uneven". Market went from 13.44 to 21.84 (162.5% boost) and Gold Mine went from 80.64 to 131.04 (also a 162.5% boost). Farm and Cathedral stayed at the 150% and 183.3% boosts I had seen already.

If you click 'lock' on your windows username, it has been known to actually 'freeze' your game. So you actually think you left it idling and you were gaining a lot, but I've confirmed that you didn't gain anything, it factored you in as offline the whole time which is why you got your offline bosts after refresh. Please advise? I'm a little confused because this kind of bug shouldn't exist, so it likely isn't a bug but more of a symbol of working offline gains. ~Taiga

One idea is to have an unlock achievement "new world" or something like that, after capturing grey isles, which zooms out on a whole HUGE unknown world to explore... or better yet. ENSLAVE! Under rating threshold (show) I've been playing around with resets trying to figure out some of the math and think I've found a bug. My latest game has 2500 Dark Knights, 3 Farm achievements, 2 Market, 2 Gold Mine and 1 Cathedral. Assuming Dark Knights give a 0.01% boost to economic multipliers each, I should be getting a 25% boost from my DKs. The before (o Dark knights) and after (2500 Dark Knights) don't line up though. For the first of each of the gold producing buildings, here's what I saw: Farm: went from 2.8 to 4.2 per cycle -> 150% boost Market: stayed the same at 13.44/cycle -> no boost Gold Mine: stayed the same at 80.64/cycle -> no boost Cathedral: went from 600 to 1100 per cycle -> 183.3% boost This means there's no benefit to DKs for Market or Gold Mine and I don't think that's what you intended. I also think the boost to Farm and Cathedral is ending up higher than you expected.

Under rating threshold (show) I think Thuffi's question was more along the lines of "Since troop milestones are 200, 400, etc and the achievements for 100, 300, 500,700 don't seem to have any effect on troop buildings, why have them at all?". Those could for example increase the rate at which troops boost army power, similar to dark knights, but a seperate multiplier.

We actually have different plans for ways to increase army power which is why we didn't add so many ways to increase it right now. We don't have THAT much content right now so if everything here was doing everything and adding to everything, we wouldn't have so much room to expand. I will likely be making the achievements that don't do anything, add another +1 to the multiplier during my statistics screen update though, but army power will be increased by other ways ;) <3 Taiga

Each achievement milestone for troop buildings add +1 to the corresponding multiplier. The game calculates based on multipliers so the higher your multiplier for a building, the greater the gains. Multipliers are just multiples of your base value! ~Taiga

Under rating threshold (show) I dont see the point of having an "Army power" and a "#troops" when the first one is the second/2000. One should be removed unless Dark Knights are added to the formula or anything else. With the extra space generated from removing one of those two values, you could add a Gold per second and Troops per second

We put those things on the buttons just to give a picture on the military status of the enemy. The tooltip contains the proper requirement information. However we will likely remove that all in favor of our upcoming Kingdom Overview screen that will give you 'spy reports' on your enemies instead so it will feel a lot nicer. You people are putting pressure on me to create an awesome statistics screen... I'll do my best not to disappoint! <3 Taiga

We are considering that actually! We will most likely do a rate as there's not much room on buttons and we don't want to clutter them too much!
