@Upaut You need a lot of Dark Knight to show a real difference.
I have almost 150K Dark Knight now and i get over 1% for army power.
I currently have 288.956 troops and 3032.99 army power.

To be honest, I'm rather disappointed. There's no real way to discern how one acquires power, since the Dark Knights don't seem to really do much to increase it. I'm on my "3rd" run with over 10k Dark Knights and I can't even take over the first country with 350k troops. -.-
That doesn't seem right. i'll look into it. in the mean time try clearing your browser cache. we just uploaded a new version 10 hours ago, your browser might be stuck with a cached version.
All achievement multipliers are working. possibly you are misunderstanding the math. Tell me how many buildings/achievements/dark knights you have and what your getting per tick and I'll run through the math!

still no power boost from dark knights, 54k dark knights and stil power calculation is 0.05% of troop amount or troop:2000=army power, no mater how much dark knight you have :(

I can answer your questions about army power and losing a lot more troops even when you got x time more army power:
1) When youre attacking well fortified positions you will always get a lot more casaulties than the defender.
2) "General i heard that were losing a lot more soldiers than the enemy can you tell me why?" "Your highness we dont have armory so we dont have any armor and we also dont have blacksmith so soliers have no mele weapon. But we have a very good ranged weapon" "And what kind of weapon is that? Crossbows? Longbows? Siege artillery?" "Ummm we only have farms so its a potatoes" "Can you kill someone by that?" "Actually no but the enemy can get sick if he forget to cook it before eating"

Here a few suggestion for conquering new land.
First let use chose how much troop we want to sent to make it possible if I lost 5.4 millions troops conquering Teiuesia when i had almost 20 times more troops than them and over 3 times more power.
Unless Teiusia army were all superhuman i don't understand how i would lose almost 5 times more troops than them even though my army was far stronger than them.

Bug with cathedral: gold value with enabled "buy max amount" may be invalid if it's possible to buy more than 1 building.

These dark knights are really knights? can they fight? they only give you more money so they cant be real knights... are they merchants or tax collectors or maybe alchemists?

More achievements would be cool to see. Something like x number of countries conquered, x number of troops gained, x number of dark nights recruited, and maybe play time achievements.
That is actually in the works now that we got the majority of the bugs that we have control over squashed. It will take a little time as every change we make has to be done carefully so as not to inadvertently cause a save game wipe! But we will get there! Watch the news section for more info!

Wooo, so it seems that ratio of troop count to army power is 2000:1, and its quite exact. This is without any Dark knight influence. so for the second nation one would need 6.214 million troops to have the exact army power to conquer said nation. one would then need for the first nation 540000 troops.
Again this is WITHOUT any dark knights. so its basically hovering around 11 times the troop count for each nation with a deviation of +/- a few hundred troops
That is correct, actually. Dark knights have received a very strong boost. 100,000 will bring your army power and the enemy power into line at roughly the same number of troops. We are still adjusting the exact formula for more balance, and also to allow for a loss condition possible in the future. enjoy your guaranteed wins for now! MUHAHAHA!

That is correct. We have a whole new way to reward players for countries conquered coming soon providing this game keeps getting support. We increased the speed of tribute gains and the amount gained but right now, we plan to remove the tribute gains completely and use a new system that should be more fun ;) ~Taiga

It would be kind of nice to have a Little timer under the money up in the corner that we can click that shows us money per second. If we click on it, it would switch from per second to per minute, per hour or per day.
Also the same type of counter for each thing. such as how much the farm makes a second,minute,hour,day and for each troop gen as well.
even if it is just per second and per day would be nice to see how much each generates for us so we could plan a little better.
We have released a major bug and glitch fix patch and that finally frees us to make the Kingdom Overview screen ;) which should take a couple weeks to get it all good (mostly because I program for this game in my free time and still have to go to work 50 hours a week at a job >_>) But you will definitely see a nice stat screen coming that will make planning fun and greatly enhance the enjoyment of the number growth! <3 Taiga

I think this was just missed while changing.. Reset confirm message still says dark knights give 0.005% boost per dark knight.
Also, can there be any additional boost for being active / idle in the game?

I think we're to the point of idles needing to include more of a game. The progressing upgrade system is fun but there's no innovation. This one kind of bends it in the right direction but its still the same. Its time to add more game to the idle format.
And we 100% agree with you! We designed this game with a lot of room for innovation and to add much more to it, even the way I'm handling save variables prepares for that as well as the way I am handling math calculations :P We just need the support so we can dedicate more time to the game, we released it to see the reception. Next update is in internal testing! This will be uploaded later this evening. The update includes most importantly, a fix to support browser zoom, as well as a fix to hopefully drastically reduce lag! As well as a further rework of the way dark knights affect army power gains! We want to make a few last adjustments as well as implement some API stuff before launching update 4. Stand by everyone!

You need to make troop purchases show how much power they will add. Also, don't make that battle map accessible until we have enough for the 1st battle.

(1) A page to customize your armies with better weapons and armors
(2) Skill trees for armies/General(s) boost overall invasion(s)
(3) Successful invasion reward players with artifacts/technologies to
either boosts economy or armies or maybe even both

Really, what I think this game desperately needs is an alternative use for soldiers as an expended/invested resource, rather than them being a currency for buying other countries as they are now. Like, really assigning a hundred thousand soldiers to guard the trade routes and getting you an income bonus. The next logical step after that would be different types of troops (spies, wizards, etc) with various effects on economy and conquering.
I think if we made this game more complicated like a real war strategy game, people would reject it because it would take a long time to get into it and see all that they can do and what not. People tend to enjoy simple idle concepts most from what we've researched and this is why we designed the game to be this simple. We will only consider more complicated approaches if we notice a large reception of people want this stuff. So if anyone else actually would enjoy more complicated war strategy in this game, please speak up or upvote Talanic's suggestion here. I just don't want to invest weeks into complicating things just for people to turn around and complain about all of the complications that they would need to sort out and figure out rather than just having something simple to play. ~Taiga

Just a little analysis to help balance the game. Gold, right now, is the only important resource because it's used to gain dark knights. Soldiers are only important when they help you gain more gold. The second country to be conquered, Cuoowana, gives approximately 3,000 gold per second and costs 550 million gold to conquer. Cuoowana will pay for itself a little over two REAL days after you conquer it.
Also, it is unclear to the player if gold received from countries is augmented by Dark Knights.

Somehow (bug?) I have 94900 dark knights. And I feel like most of them doesn't work.
1. Is it possible to somehow find and fix this "extra dk" bug?
2. And could you tell me please, how much gold per tick should produce farm lvl400? (With first 4 achievements, first 3 upgrades, and 94900 dk)

rewards from conquering are still so miniscule, that it makes good sense to not waste any money on soldier production before you do several rebirths with hundreds of thousands ..or more.. dark knights in place.

i have a question when you reset are the upgrades more costly for buildings or is it the same? i reset with about 50k dark knights and i feel like the altar is more expensive and the other buildings to upgrade then it used to be ive built 129 as of now and if i were to buy another one it would cost 9,886,266.68

Each conquered country should also gives you some unique buildings or upgrades.
For example: Astrila - unlocks Trade Post (building, generate gold)
Coowana - unlocks Trade Post upgrades (t1 - Trade Post gold produsing increased by 5% for each conquer country, t2 - by 10%, t3-15%, t4-20%)
Ija - unlocks Mages Guild (building, produce mages with a low troops effect, but hight power)
etc.
