hmm...the mood system is interesting but i seem to do the same thing every conquest...change mood to gleeful, buy absurd amounts of gold buildings change mood to evil buy troop buildings and conquer the wolrd change mood to gleeful and wait for resonable number of dks to be generated...maybe a list of moods and effects ingame would be helpful
It's in the changelog lol. Gleeful, annoyed, evil and meh. Meh mood is just there in case someone doesn't want to mess with all the mood mechanics. It's just the 'everything is normal". Evil could use a boost since I added the pay troops to increase battle speed I guess but it is a steady 50% increase to combat speed that doesn't cost anything and it does other things. Do look at the changelog for details.

How come it takes so long to conquer was way to short now with 10 bil plus dks it takes forever glad not starting out must take days to conquer the world

I absolutely love it. I only hope that next updates will slowly add more dialogue and more answers to Catherine questions. After all, if I want my general to be absolutely fabulous then he needs to answer in a specific manner.

There is a glitch in the game, if you talk to catherine and get the annoyed mood, theirs is a chance it may stay their and will not changed even doing the gleeful and the evil talk

So if the 1 unit you start with at the beginning of a new game is yourself I think I'm dead. I attacked Astrila with all of my 840 troops and lost around 9500 men. But hay not even death could stop my army and we won.
Wow, That's a oversight from LONG ago that we just confirmed thanks to you actually providing numbers and making me check it. Originally you had to have a certain amount of troops to attack, as well as power and gold. we dropped the troops off, but neglected to put a check in there to account for massive numbers of dark knights making small numbers of troops give enough power to start a battle. This somehow escaped all our testing for this long. LOL. Good news is its a graphical glitch for the most part, as loss is impossible. We will get it patched up as soon as possible. Thanks for posting numbers and setting off the lightbulb in my head! Haha.

Question / Suggestion: Why the limit on changing her mood? I feel like it would be better if you could only change it one time per day or something instead of a hard limit.
We don't have a dedicated time server to allow us to set a time restricted limit. People could literally just change their system time to bypass the limit unfortunately so we had to go with another route.

So the troop spending update is to make the conquering take longer than ever? Or just average out the times so that later conquests are shorter? And why the massively increased casualties when you don't spend additional troops?

Hmm, limiting the mood changes is essentially a good thing, only should the counter go down when her mood actually changes.
I had her on "Meh" and after two times talking to her with no change in the mood (Still "Meh"), the counter gone down to 6 now.

The tooltip for annoyed seems a bit ambiguous. "Economy gains higher, troop gains lower and costs higher". Does that mean that all costs are higher or just costs of troop buildings higher? If it means all costs, an Oxford comma would fix that.

ok...i'm guessing no one else noticed this but when i did dk reset and i did the adivory thing for the third country i got a choice between what i say which is usual but...one of the choices was...the cake is a lie >_>

In the interest of balancing speed against usefulness, would it be possible to change this "spend troops" option for a full-time multiplier selection. My idea is this: you can select to send a multiplier of troops to gain a multiplier to speed. 2x troops for 4x speed, 3x troops for 6x speed... up to maybe 16x troops for 32x speed. This means around 10B AP for 32x speed at Grey Isles, but 3200% isn't really that bad and 10B isn't out of the realms of possibility for late game. Right now, it's easy to forget to add the multiplier and that is annoying when you're fighting the later countries.

Ah, I did not see the mood change limit of 8. Sorry. Okay, 8 times is not much. How about one mood change per world conquest. As a beginner you can not change her mood at all, but later on you will better and better in manip...er I mean helping her.

The update is nice. But something is wrong with the mood thing. After being offline I can not change her mood anymore. I am talk with, using diffeent approaches, but she ist now always annoyed. How annoying. Please check this again. Thank you very much and please make more here. :-) It is a fun game.

oh, ok, didn't see the limit on mood shifts. you probably only need 3: One to gleeful to by gold buildings, one to annoyed for loads of money, and one to evil to conquer, then back to annoyed for all 900 dark altars. ok, maybe 4.

So i forgot to use the soldiers speed boost and now im waiting so much time for somethign that would have been done quickly. Is it possyble to cancel or send troops mid battle? Is it something that we should expect in the next patch? Am i just dumb and thi sis a silly question being the anwer no xD?

It appears that a new bug was introduced by the quick modification to allow troops to be spent to increase battle speed. I will let taiga know asap.

Mmm... I was trying to figure out where my mood changes went, and I've just found that clicking "Talk to Catherine" while you're at war uses up a mood change.

That moment when you accidentally start the attack without sending any extra troops, and you'd like to call it off to regroup and send a proper amount, but then remember that Touria has never lost a battle, let alone retreated, and you slowly, grudgingly press on to save face (and avoid execution)...
Check the Kingdom Overview under the miscellaneous to view how many mood changes you have left. If it says 0, you need to do a dark knight reset to restore them back to 8.

Not sure if this was posted already but for the dialogue about conquering Omana, if you choose to leave and not come back she says "I hope he doesnt hate me. Well, if he conquers Obama..." I didnt know we were taking out presidents in this game. Not a huge error but a funny one :D

Even when sending the most troops possible it is still slower than it used to be. The first country used to take two seconds and now it takes almost 30 with 1000% increase and i am guessing by the time you get down to the last one it'll take a day or so.
"Idle" Conquest. It was never meant to take only 2 seconds to conquer a country. The speed up is what I consider more balanced. I actually have some code in place that scales up the conquest speed the higher the country so it won't take a day or so for the last country due to this. I just did some very rough math and Grey Isles with Catherine's mood set to evil with a 1000% boost will take ABOUT 34 minutes. Probably more but not hours or days kind of more.
It was part of the bugs I JUST fixed. Refresh your browser and try again. If it still persists, go to the options menu, export your gain and paste it to a document for safe storage. Then clear your browser cache / cookies and reload the game.

seriously? i used to take over the world in 10 minutes, now it takes 10 minutes to take over two countries!? wow, yeah i'm gone, till this is fixed i've lost all reason to play.
I just added a way for you to spend troops to increase world conquest speeds but this is an idle game and I decided to make it an idle game again. The conquest was meant to be idled and was never meant to be done in 10 minutes. In my mind, it is fixed now but was broken before. If you must depart because I have taken this game back to its 'idling' roots with conquest then I wish you best of luck in your endeavors :)
