This is exactly why all Kongregate Idle Unity devs should stop using it. I mean, Unity is a 3D engine... why add all the bloated overhead for a simple 2D idle game? Surely games like this can not be that hard to directly program in Flash. Unity games are more frustrating since they require updating the player periodically, they run slower, take up more resources, are often less responsive, and even at times crash the browser. Then you have issues like this. To all devs out there: please stop using Unity for 2D idle games!
Yes, we are currently looking at CRYengine for our serious projects. Kongregate is some fun on the side in the mean time =\. Unity has repeatedly caused issues like this. This issue is most likely a server issue with the server Unity webplayer authenticates with, as I can't even log in to their forums to ask questions at the moment. I can confirm that we have not pushed an update since Friday, and the game worked all weekend and all day monday. I can also confirm that the game works just fine within unity editor, but when i build it out and try to run the webplayer from local host, it has the same loading bug. Sorry for the issue, all we can do now is sit on our hands and see how things play out.

Reading these comments makes me want to make an idle game called "Unity Crash." The goal is to keep adding features to a game until Unity gives up and then you get a multiplier on restart for every comment you get.
Thats a funny idea! Too bad we have no control over the current issue! Unity/Kongregate bug. Our code doesn't run until after the game loads, and we have not pushed any updates since friday. Patience please!

Unity appears to be having some errors right now, and this appears to be effecting every unity-based game. The developer here cannot do much to fix it, as it is a problem with the web player. However, seeing how unity is a very popular game player, I don't think the problem will last too long.

Getting the unity issue also, Sorry guys but I'm actually going to have to leave this tab and do something else with my life until you've fixed it.

Yes! Go plan your next world conquest! We are doing the same, as this isn't our problem to fix, as our last update was last friday, meaning no changes have been made for 3+ days! Sorry for the problem, hopefully Unity, or Kongregate, or who ever is responsible for this mess will get it straightened out soon!

Seems unity is having issues on the site. This is not the only game that is messing up today. I wonder if there was some update from them that is effecting everything else.

in castle upgrades in the 3rd upgrade (war rooms) theres "more gold/troops produce" i bought it lol but theres no gold :D

Perhaps mobilization would make the army more useful. In other words, the army could be turned into a gold-making labor force (assigned to various industries) for a production boost and then withdrawn from those industries to fight.

Problem with the game today. After Unity load, browser crash. I have tested other games that run with Unity and they are working.

As a lot of guys stated before, today it's impossible to load the game. I really hope the developers can fix this. Very bad if a really good game gets crushed by sth like this.

Yeah, it's crashing for me too. If I had to guess, maybe they're in the middle of updating the game? Either way we'll just have to wait until the developers respond accordingly.

Up until today the game has worked flawlessly, however today Unity crashes every time I try and load it. Is this just me?

Stupid question, but do you get the spoils of your conquered country when you are offline? I ask cause when i log back on they all on the same timer/wavelength.

Do the conquered territory resources get factored into the offline calculations, or do i have to leave the game on for them to work?
They do not get factored into offline calculations. Since I am redoing the way conquered countries benefit you I am not going to make an offline gains for the current system. ~Taiga

Actually the visual glitch with the conquered countries shows up the moment you conquer The Grey Isles, even if you haven't beaten all the others yet...

Strange. After conquering everything, next time I loaded the game, the conquered territories aren't giving me anything.
It's a visual glitch. I'm a retard but it has been fixed and will be working properly in the next update. The bars don't move, however the math calculations are still happening. You will still gain gold/troops every 12 seconds or so from the countries conquered. Terribly sorry about that, the reason the bug went undetected is because it only surfaced when you had ALL countries conquered. ~Taiga
