The achievements for 800 and 900 altars should give the 12% speed bost again, given that you will get them extremelly late game, im at a multiplier of 51 (6 from achievements) and im only at the 600 altar achievements xD that means that i still need a lot of time to get the 800/900 by that time the +1 multioplier will be meaningless.
I would need to delete the boost again when I create the country overhaul since you'll be getting a lot more resources. I'm going to hold off on that until I can see for sure what the resource production of the game will feel like after I've added new upgrades, new economy structures and things to do with the conquered countries because giving someone something and taking it away causes a lot more rage than not giving someone something at all. ~Taiga

Ok, right now there is still no reason to waste your cash on conquering other countries. The multiplier for DK's on your next reset is not working at all. I conquered 10 countries before i reset, it did NOT boost my DK multiplier for the current reset at all.

Is it possible to show only what u can buy, but through the scale you choose ? For example, if i want to upgrade buildings 10 times per upgrade, do not highlight buildings when i cant actually pay 10x ?
Actually, buildings highlights themselves when you can buy one level, regardless of the upgrade scale you choose.
It would take too much time as I'd have to rework and rethink the way I am calculating and determining whether or not the buttons should disable. Currently the cost you are shown is merely a display and to do what you've asked, I would need to have loops running in update processes. You think the game lags now? Haha. I don't really want to invest the time into figuring out how to do that, especially because I do not share the same OCD and if you make content to satisfy one person's OCD, someone else may have an OCD about what you just changed, slippery slopes are slippery! ~Taiga
Sorry you feel that way but Dark Knights are working as intended. It may seem like a great idea to give people more dark knights but there are already too many idle games where people can beat in a day or 2. I really want this to be 'idle'. ~Taiga

I quite like this and think it could be quite an excellent game after the devs have implemented all their ideas. One small thing that bothers me though - regardless of what I set my click to, the very first purchase of a building buys ONE of it. This means that to salve my OCD and have things in round 100s, after each reset for each building I need to click 10x to get it to 10, then another 9x to get it to 100. Could the devs perhaps save us 136 clicks each reset by not limiting the first purchase to one? Alternatively, save us 143 clicks by creating a new "purchase to the next round 100" option.
I'm sorry, due to limited time I can't invest much of my time into features that only satisfy people with odd OCDs. The way I set my code up doesn't allow what you are asking to happen very easily and would take me hours. ~Taiga

I've got a question about altar multiplier for dark knight: I'm at 500 so I've got a +5 to my multiplier but my total is at *5. If one doesn't have the first achievement (100 altar), does he have a *0 multiplier, so he doesn't get any dark knight until the 100th altar? Or should you just put a 1+5 multiplier for my 5th achievement?
I really thought I would be with 6000 DK per cycle, not 5000. Is this just a mistake?

i don't know if i'm a fan of the new map where all countries need to be conquered in order. i understand how its probably necessary, but maybe there could just be a lock on the rest of the countries until you beat the first 7 or 8. and then maybe again with the next 7 or 8.

I thought i just fixed that. Do you mind using pastebin to give me your save file? I really can't comprehend or even fathom how that is wrong. I just tested it with cheats on in editor and did 5 resets in a row after giving myself 1 million dark knights and the math added up right every time. Your save file will help me find what the problem is but I'm 100000% sure it's visual only.

To correct my previous statement about goldmines being better than cathedrals, I have just discovered that achievements are NOT reset when you dark knight reset the game, which is AWESOME! I had the 75 multiplier for the goldmines while only having a 2.5 multi on the catherdrals. Thanks for the great perk!

for conquer grey island i have to wait 2 days and 15 hours! while the dark reset will give me only 30% boost! this is the normal wait?
Many great conquerors waited a lifetime and died before they saw even a slim chance that they would succeed. You only merely click a button and wait. I think it's a good deal :3 ~Taiga

Army power is working fine. Yes if you reset the multiplier goes up just like that. I will keep army power the way it is I've already tested it and I like the results. Sorry for any inconvenience. ~Taiga

Dark Knights affect conquest time. With the addition of world conquest giving multipliers to the altar, it would be pretty overpowered if battle speeds were faster any other way. ~Taiga

@AckFoo: Exactly. My goldmines with 700s achiev produce less than my catherdral with 600s achiev. I still dont know how darkmage thinks goldmine is faster since we can now do the math with the kingdom overview screen.

@ken030988 Look at the multiplier difference between the 600 and 700 achieves, it is huge, getting to 700 is a big deal

@Darkmage2160: Currently for me 501 cathedrals give me 31mil/s and 501 goldmines give me 18m/s both with 2 upgrades but goldmine with 700s achievment while cathedral only 600s achievment. I dont see why would cathedral give less gold. Its almost the double and if i get the 700s achiev the difference will just get bigger.

I really like the new update, it adds a sence now to reset and conquer that wasn't before. Before i was with all the world conquered just acummulating dks and going for achievementsand when i had enough dark knights i would reset, now its a run to conquer the world asap and reset xD i preffer this way :D.

Ever since the new update. I have been completely unable to play the game. When it loads, I cant click anything, Not even the options to change the quality settings. I wouldn't call that lag. It is far beyond that. It was a nice game but is now unplayable.
Unity forgot to turn off a debug write and I've already brought it to their attention. It's literally reading and writing a text file to your hard drive 100+ times per seconds cuz of this. Please check back with any luck Unity will fix this fast. ~Taiga

love the game, really fun, but now that the update is out, and cathedrals don't produce troops anymore, its actually cheaper to upgrade the goldmines which produce more money anyway. so maybe revise how much gold the cathedrals give? or make them cheaper? or don't do either and i can just buy goldmines all day :) who needs religion when you can be a slave and mine for gold anyway
The Cathedral gives a higher payout than the goldmine. As you get more dark knights, your income grows and you can afford more Cathedrals. I intended for Cathedrals to be some form of 'late game' profit maker as you can put a lot more into it later. Goldmine finishes 5 times before the Cathedral finishes once. However at base value of 40.32 for the goldmine, 5 completions nets you 201.6 gold. The Cathedral will finish at a base value of 400 making it nearly twice as profitable. Trust me, it's worth it! ~Taiga

Hi, i think "Kingdom Overview" button should be put on somewhere easy to reach. Like, near the gold text. Nice update thought :D
And building selection in the "Economy" tab better use gridview than scrollbar system. It make me frustrating to scroll every time. :(
We will be eventually making tabs to help sort your economy items but unfortunately we can't make it a gridview without massively reworking our GUI. I wanted my idle game to be more than just a grid view with bars and buttons to click. Places like the world map there is no way to have a grid view of that without making the map tinier and it'd just be a huge mess. I will stick with my design decision with the visuals but I will definitely be adding more convenient ways to sort through your economy items which might make it so a scroll bar is no longer needed there. Even when the visuals are disabled one of my cores is being fully used by "System" which would seem to indicate something like file read/writes out of control. There is a unity log writing as mentioned by someone else with the line: "web: set web resolution 100 x 100, fs=0" over and over while the game is running.
*EDIT* it shouldn't be doing it anymore if you go into low quality and then click out of the web player so the screen turns blue. I think the debug log is printing off the Canvas Renderers on each of my objects (I can't disable them I need them) so when I disable the Canvas itself, it should be stopping the writing process.
Yep. That is why my game is lagging. So all my code optimization was pointless. However the low quality thing helps because it disables the whole Canvas. Unity is writing out some debug log that I can't turn off because I don't have access to their component scripts. The debug log is literally writing to disc every second for every object in my game lol =/ Thank you Unity for your professionalism. There really should be an achievement for conquering the world, and the game should provide some sort of acknowledgment in the main screen. At the very least, Catherine should show some kind of reaction to achieving her megalomanical dream. I personally think it would be cool if, as you conquer countries, you accumulate the country's flags as trophies on the throne room's walls/pillars. Alternatively, replicate the world map on the throne room floor by adding the countries to the carpet as they are conquered. Once you conquer them all, encircled them all with the word Touria repeated over and over, or with the Tourian anthem.
I was waiting for the Catherine speech overhaul to do something in this regard. It just isn't as satisfying if I just had some small text show in that tiny bubble. ~Taiga

There should be a reset effect for conquering the world. like all countries get 10% harder to conquer but yeild 25% more income for each time you've conquered the world

Import option says "please paste your game here" but there are not options in a pop up box. There are 2 radio buttons... Accept and Cancel but clicking either one does nothing, as does clicking in the box.
Volanskie, when you export it copies your file to clipboard you can paste it into notepad to back it up. When importing you can import it back into notepad. Also offline gains should either give you the full amount or not give you anything at all. There isn't any way for you to get jipped due to the way I coded the system I made that impossible. However, if you can use www.pastebin.com and send me your import I can check into it and just be SURE there isn't some issue. ~Taiga

check with file monitor, unity writes same log-file 20-25+ times per second, each time adding line "web: set web resolution 100 x 100, fs=0"... hdd-conquer? :)
Edit: You are right. I posted on unity's forum about it. It's some sort of debug log file they forgot to disable... lol all the stress I had optimizing my own code thinking it was me... I'm kinda mad at Unity to say the least. ~Taiga

I'll try out the export from your recommendations. Will that also help fix the offline gains? 8 hours offline time, only gained 2 hours of gold/troops overnight... I use Safari, but that shouldn't make a difference.
