my gains... conquered 3rd world and waited from 1million gold to 1.96bil. I went from 22k Military Might to 31k. My army is bored hehe.
Well, we originally had things a little slower paced, but enhanced the gain rates of things to satisfy impatient people =P. We will be working more on balance in future updates, as we cant exactly downgrade back to what it was before without everyone crying NERF! Lol. Expect more buildings, more uses for troops, as well as hopefully more countries to conquer!

The Gold gain to Troop gain greatly offset. With 220k Dark Knights I'm gaining 700k gold per second roughly, all nodes(troop and gold)are balanced in gain speed per their cost. I need to expend tons of gold just to upgrade the gold producing items in the game, and if I do that I waste
anything I would need to conquer. After 15 minutes of upgraded play, my Military might is nearly 8k and gaining fast and my gold is at 43million
per minute. In the 15 minutes it will take to make the money to conquer the 4th country, my military will be 2 countries ahead and waiting another
30 minutes for the gold. I'm aware that I simply need to upgrade my gold more, but the cost is in great excess of the gains. Ex: 17million for
Market x10=10k gold per second, that's 28 minutes to offset the cost. I would suggest some manner of Mercenary work for the excess of troops for more gold gain to speed up the conquering process.
They are supposed to be offset. If they were 100% balanced there would be no need for balancing your resources. We want some kind of strategy in this game regarding resource allocation. ~Taiga

I think conquest times should be dependant on army power, not dark knights. So having more troops would have a meaning. Or maybe we can send more troops to conquer it faster. Like when we are sacrificing 500000 soldiers to conquer a country takes us 2 minutes but sacrificing 1000000 reduces timer to 1 min or something like that. Im sure Queen Catherine is also getting bored while waiting for us to conquer a country. Dont you feel sorry for her? Let us sacrifice more minions!

more suggestions:
*Taxation system on territories. Control the income from them.
*Rebellion System: constant dice roll for chance of rebelling territories. Dice roll augmented by taxation (they'll be more upset with higher taxes) and military power (they'll be less likely to attack someone who is strong). When rebelling, you (obviously) receive no income from them, and you have to re-subjugate them like you would wage war- with troops, money and time.

i think the total gold/s is your countries and building combined. so that means ur getting 170m from countries and 20m from buildings... i think

my Total gold/s: 190.66 mil. Total gold from countries/s: 170.13 mil. Knight/s: 48. I went offline and return, Cartherin said I get 560.76bil. gold, 100800 dark knight. Do some math: 100800/48 = 2100 seconds. 2100*(190.66+170.13)=757,659 mil. not 560.76bil. Something must be wrong here

in other unity idle games the unity player lags becaus of the default fps raze. If you lower them the lag should disapear
We already have the default FPS of our game capped at 30. Are you experiencing lag with our game? It should be fixed up now I patched it earlier today and benchmarking of my game showed really smooth processing. ~Taiga

That's good to hear! Unity is fixing things up on their end so from time to time that will happen but it always clears itself sooner rather than later, just check back in 15 minutes or so if it happens! ~Taiga

There were some comments that Dark Knight bonus is too low, but I gravely disagree with that. It is good enough, really. One of things that makes this game different from almost all idle games on kong is exactly this. No, I should put it in other way - there are many things that makes this game great, one of which is very caring and loving Developer, but there is also one thing that doesn't concern this game, but makes other games boring and breaks them quickly: too many multipliers and overwhelming growth speed. If your power grows exponentially every hour, then the bar must be lifted in similar manner, which usually causes lack of balance and things just gets boring. I love when you must make your way up to the top, slowly advancing and getting stronger with each step. So don't worry Taiga, it isn't and never was possible to please everyone, but You are doing really excellent job here, giving Your best! Thank You! I will be glad to play this game and cannot wait to see what's next!:)
And I'm beginning work on the Catherine speech overhaul :3 I am looking forward to this one since I don't need to work with math anymore it is just creative writing. Although I will find some way to make it interesting hmm... yeah! <3 Taiga

I beat the 1st four countries on the map yesterday and when i loaded my game today it reset them. Hs anyone else had this problem?
Countries conquered are serialized and saved in the same objects list as every other data variable in the game. Shouldn't be possible to lose them but nothing else. I am curious if anyone else has this problem because I've been testing my game constantly all week and haven't had data loss at all. ~Taiga

weve got some problems here :
- dark knight bonus is pathetic
- multipliers for achievements are lies
- everything goes very slow
It happens from time to time and actually just goes away after some refreshes, close and reopen browser or just in a half hour or so. You can go to Unity forums and yell at them for this error as I have no control over it unfortunately. ~Taiga

I find it almost a little disappointing that the entire Known World can be conquered by a witch with the head larger than the rest of her body, and some blank human... All in a few weeks.
Have faith in your abilities, conqueror! Had you been alive during Napoleons' conquest, you would have helped him succeed in owning the whole world! This is why Catherine chose you!

Aside from the dark nights, total army power should play a part in how fast a country is defeated. If I have 1 billion troops why would I only send said amount to defeat the country. Just sayin, If I build my army up there should be some benefit. Maybe an incremental bonus based on army strength over the needed amount. like a per 25% over needed strength. something like that. :)

i guess you can conqueror the the first few countries quickly, reset and repeat to quickly get into the leaderboards? where's the fun in that though?
Just because they're pacifists doesn't mean they don't want to have an army to defend themselves. It just means they try to avoid conflict. There's a warmongering psychopath taking over the world right now, pacifist or not, they gotta defend themselves :P ~Taiga

my army power seems to be going down was 177 mil now 175 i have 660~million troops can't figure out whats going on haven't battled anything as im just waiting on my army power for the last territory
PM me a pastebin of your save file and I will take a look. Army power is a very simple one line calculation and I can't imagine it can ever 'go down' like that. However if something is really up I will find it quickly in your save file. ~Taiga

@Pavels that's really odd. i play fine on chrome. try reinstalling unity on chrome, there shouldn't be that much lag even when you get it to work.

strange, using chrome i just get a white screen, using internet explorer the game kind of works, but the lag is so bad it is more or less unplayable

Somehow this game crashes my display driver... I have a AMD(ati)HD7750... i got the latest catalyst from amd directly... and if i have this game opened (as well as my few regular idle games), within 30mins my screen becomes black for 1 or 2 second, then i get a message from the catalyst control center saying my display driver stopped responding, crashed and were restarted... often it will also crash chrome as well... i have been troubleshooting this for a few days... and i can say with pretty much 100% certainty that this is this game that is causing it... i also updated unity web player yesterday but it still happened...
Working on this fix. Unity is ignoring my forum posts and who knows if they saw my bug report however I'm still testing things on my end. There's a broken Unity component that I'm trying to discover. My hierarchy in my game is huge so this is quite a process. ~Taiga

The fact that visuals disable when I'm not focused on the game is really nice, not that my laptop can't handle it, just that I want my processing power where I'm actually looking, so thumbs up for that.

It still runs for me. Look at your gold before you click on a new background program, then return to the game after a minute and you'll see the gold sent up. ~Taiga

I wish it showed how long you have before you earn gold or troops, Like, Beside the upgrade, it would say how much more time before you earn 'X' amount of troops or gold
It does in the kingdom overview it gives you a time there and all the information you need. I decided against a countdown because it feels like unnecessary clutter when you already have a progress bar. This is MY OCD since people are talking about OCDs here :P ~Taiga
