Under rating threshold (show) Really needs some sort of time measure imo. All you get is how much is produced, not how fast, so it makes it hard to compare different buildings.

Under rating threshold (show) Hey coderiftstudios, your game is really nice, but in my Opinion there are too less ways to earn money. The price for some more farms, marcets, etc is too high for the income it gives to you. a few hundret million for 1-2k more gold per cycle is really heavy and for one more level you need hours. Thats really hard ;)

Yes, it has the 'addiction bug' and it's contagious. Once you play it, you can't stop for some really weird reason. Mind control virus or I dunno. ~Taiga

Under rating threshold (show) Maybe add revolts that only happen if you do not have enough armies? If a revolt succeeds then you lose all profits from that country and they built their army up while you idle. When next you open the page up the rebels attempt to liberate other countries thus reducing your profits further. This would give an incentive for people to be more cautious when attacking other nations and be more realistic. Maybe even a multiplier where if you have enough armies to prevent revolt but not more then what you needed to conquer that country you get less profits and troops.

This is actually a planned feature to make conquering more interactive. And allow you to influence the money coming from conquered nations!

Numbers are correct, we just used a different method than every other idle game, because we are not every other idle game =P. Also fairly sure there are no glitches left unless you are talking about unity glitches, which we have little control over. Next update will include the Kingdom Overview which more or less lays out all the math for the world to see. If anyone still has problems, I can make a tutorial on how to enter numbers into a calculator =). Thanks for playing!

Under rating threshold (show) I really don't get the neccessarity of army power currently, since it's directly tied to your troops and dark knights and besides that i only need to look at the gold cost for the war, so there really is a balancing issue... Why not change the army power to some sort of ressource, like weapons/armor or research, which then gives a multiplier to your troops, resulting in total army strength, which then is needed to attack countries? And about the gold cost, how about removing the gold cost for the battles and make it optional, then the more money you spend, the better your army will fight, the less time it will consume and the less troops you loose? Just an idea ;) (but seriously something must be done, it's missed potential the way it's implemented currently)

This will be changing as soon as the new update is live. We have changed conquest to only require army power and gold. as requiring both troops and army power was a little redundant. Now you have to have the troops to give you the army power. Hopefully this will make conquest more clear and straight forward. Look forward to the next update soon(tm). It's is more or less done already, we are just doing final testing to minimize the chance that we missed something. =)

When you dont get offline gains, look on the options panel and tell me what version number shows on the top above the option buttons. Thats a code we can use to diagnose network related problems. Sorry for the issue.

Under rating threshold (show) I think it'd be fun if, after the Grey Isles, you could visit other continents/archipelagos. Eventually, you'd find a portal to the underworld/heaven, and you'd conquer both. I can picture Cathy sitting on a throne made out of Divine Gems, with her staff decorated with the Devil's Skull.

Under rating threshold (show) Ok, I haven't been able to find out anywhere else, so I'll paint myself as stupid and ask here- Why do all idle games seem to do local saves? Why not online saves to save the hassle of import/exporting whenever you wish to go on another computer?

People have managed to fix the Unity issues by clearing their browser caches, cookies and uninstalling and reinstalling the Unity player. It MIGHT have something to do with the older version of the player affecting the newer version so a 100% clean install should refresh it *hoping* ~Taiga

Under rating threshold (show) Fun game, although it definitely feels like gold production is the main limiting factor: even though I only have 1.5 million Dark Knights after 2 resets, I already have more than enough troops (4.27 billion) and just enough power (just got 336 million a few minutes ago) to take out the Grey Isles, but it takes me at least 12 hours (maybe more: haven't paid too much attention to my times) to make 100 billion gold, which means I have to wait more than a day just for a chance to attack it.

Next update is coming soon and this includes a very easy to read and clean looking statistics screen for everything in the game including your new multipliers from dark knights after reset BEFORE you reset :3 I am hoping this will allow people to plan and calculate the math of the game with great ease! It actually takes only a week or a little less to get 1 million dark knights before your first reset, thing with this game is that dark knights become faster to get the more you have due to the fact you can afford to buy more altars so it is a balancing process. Gold will be a little easier with the next update as I've changed Cathedral, but you will need to buy troop structures now. Thank you for playing! <3 Taiga

Under rating threshold (show) Pretty much useless to purchase troop-building structures until you reset for the first few times, since it's a hard enough grind to get your Dark Knight tally up to a reasonable point on its own. Or, at least, that's my experience so far. I have no idea how I'm going to get to 100,000 before my first reset as it is.

Under rating threshold (show) @Yotsuba83 I understand your frustration with Unity's issues. And of course we all appreciate that you produced such a nice Idle game for us and are such a responsive developer to the Kongregate community. But my understanding is that the last stable version of Unity is 4.5.5. I believe this game uses a Unity version in the 4.6 range (as evidenced by the made with Unity 4.0 beta label earlier; but I could be wrong). If you are using a beta version of Unity, can you really blame Unity for all of the issues? Would the game not have had less issues if 4.5.5 was used, even if it did not contain some of the functionality you may be using for your game? Beta versions still do usually mean that the product can not be relied upon like a "release" version can (if it can indeed can anyway) and is still vulnerable to bug fixes and changes (more than in the maintenance part of the life cycle).

About how often is it intended for you to to Dark Night reset? 2. Any way to fix that sound issue? 3. Queen Catherine von Conqueror the Fourth needs fanart to show the world her glory!

To answer your questions: 1: I recommend not resetting with any less than 100,000. 2: I regret to inform you that there isn't a sound issue so it might actually be your computer. If Unity webplayer is giving issues try to clear your browser cache and do the typical browser maintenance. The "error launching Unity Player" thing happens from time to time but it's a 'come and go' issue. I've had it happen a couple times over the last week but it never lasts forever. I wish I had control over what Unity's web player is doing because I actually care about my code being 'stable' unlike their development team but it's completely outside of my control. I can't express enough how frustrating, yet sorry I am to people who are having to deal with Unity's issues. All we can do as game devs is sit here and pray Unity decides making their web player 'stable' is important. Had I known, I would have never made the game using Unity in the first place. ~Taiga

I had 200k+ dark knight stored up (played for 2 days ish before the Unity problem that was fixed on Nov 7) and now cant get back. It started a few hours after the Nov 7 update

Umm how do we have almost 600,000 plays if people can't play the game? Look at the comments, does it look like people can't play it? Perhaps you should go to Unity and upgrade your web player. That will allow you to play the game. ~Taiga

According to my math (since I programmed the game, I know what the calculations are), it would take 12 hours to take misty key if you had NO dark knights at all. Without dark knights, it'd take weeks to save the troops required to get the army power just to take Misty Keys. If you had 1 million dark knights, Misty Keys should only take around a half hour, could be a bit more since the calculations are random. It is possible for Misty Keys to take 12 hours if you had 500k+ dark knights due to unrealistically bad luck. Overall, dark knights save you time so resetting is worth it. ~Taiga

Under rating threshold (show) The only problem I see is there doesn't seem to be any point to troops. Its more of a money sink to invest in things like Arena, without any payout from teh countries. You not only pay for the troop generation, but then pay for the attack resulting in a huge deficit. So basically the fastest way to farm gold right now is to just ignore upgrades and putting anything into troop stuff.. >_>

Well if you start a game of Starcraft II or whatever, do you take your 4 resource gatherers you start off with and just wait to buy a barracks, or do you buy more resource gatherers until you got a comfortable flow of money before building a barracks? This game has some RTS-style tactics built into it so it is expected and intended gameplay to focus more on gold and getting dark knights up before you start pouring money into troop production :3 ~Taiga
