http://puu.sh/cAPA8.jpg I think the game moves a little too fast for the amount of content right now. So far I've done two DK resets and can conquer any country except the grey isles. I don't think I'd speed up the game play anymore for right now, seems fine to me.
Exactly. If I am to add new economy objects, new achievements and new upgrades, something has to be done about the current speed or this will be a beat-in-a-day idle game lol. ~Taiga

A very good idle game, and none of that excessive clicking that some others employ. My only suggestion would be a tooltip or two, showing Gold/Second, and Troops/Second.

You should rebalanced the cathredral, barracks, arena and castle.
I have no barracks, arenas and castles. Only the cathedral and i have too many troops. so the other buildings are senseless.

I didnt really think much of this game at first but for some weird reason I just cant stop playing it. I agree with the Comments about their being more in the line of content and bonuses from conquering of other countries. I'm excited to see what else is added into this game

I'm also leaning towards the game having a good balance now. I don't mind that it takes a while for countries to be conquered. Especially with the later countries, I usually don't have enough gold to right away move on to the next one anyway. Granted, it does take a while and a good handful of resets before you have enough DKs to go on a rampage, but this is part of the whole idle philosophy: the game is supposed to run on its own for long periods of time, and take a while to progress. It would ruin things if, as @Yotsuba83 said, upgrades and gold gains increased so much that you could finish the game in a day, or even a week.

Ismus- I disagree, the earlier ones have a pretty low yield but later on the profits will be pretty big. It's worth it even though you have to pay a large amount of money for them.

Right now you could buff country gains tenfold or even x50 and they still wouldn't beworth conquering by the time you are able to.

I'm playing along with you guys and not really having much problems. My gold is easily managed and never 'not' have enough to attack someone. My attacking is literally one after the other and the time for combat is fast, with a noticeable speed increase with only 262500 DKs. I hit attack and come back a half hour later and it's done. It's an idle game so I don't expect to be given things right away :P
I started playing my own game 4 days ago to try to understand what people are talking about and this is where I'm at already so I kinda think things may be moving TOO fast. I will need to rebalance the speed of everything when I add the new system for conquered countries and new economy items otherwise gains will be way too high and people will be done in a day.

Gramma mistake: The "take no prisioners unless they agree to serve us as THEIR slaves" is wrong. It should be "serve us as OUR slaves". Else you will be saying they agree to be their own slaves

Perhaps you could add in odd jobs for your troops to do for the people/other countries (as a sign of good faith *wink wink*) for some extra money. (Just throwing out ideas. No pressure. ^_^)

Expanding over my previous idea: After a set number of archivements in a certain class we could unlock a new General. For example: After 300 Farms we get a Farm-related General: Fred Armstrong, "Fred helps everyone in the farm get their tribute ready for the queen producing x2 yields". 600 Farms = Wendy Perkison, "Wendy have a cherfull nature that helps the boys work harder and faster under the rule of the queen". 300 Barracks = Peter Strongwill, "Peter is a example to every soldier, and a figure of inspiration. +25% soldiers will show for recluitment in every military building". 600 Barracks = Maria Santos, "Maria teach her troops to help with the farms now and then, which gives a 0.01% multiplier to farms for each 1,000 soldiers. and so on for the rest :)

The gold system needs some rebalancing, I find myself with 5-10X the power and troop numbers of a nation but I still need to wait 4-5 hours to build up the gold needed to attack.

Please change it back so you send all troops to fight. As it is now the last several territories takes over 24 hours to conquer each.

Since soldiers get somewhat useless later on, they could pay taxes to increase a little bit the income. So having 100mil gold and 1 bil soldiers shall be more satisfying

I've been playing this for a couple days now. Resettin' and getting more progress and the like. It's pretty fun. Although I gotta say, best thing about this game is Catherine herself. I can tell right off the bat she's a Tsundere towards us/The General. And I love it. I sincerely hope that when the speculated updates for the dungeons and visual novel aspects come in, we get the option to romance her a bit. It doesn't even have to be all that special or even a focus, really. Just the option would be welcomed and amusing. xD

I opened a new window to check out another game while waiting for my money to raise up a little more, was not a new tab but once I saw the other game and came back unity crashed after I exited the other window and came back, I did reload the page and everything reset to default. Not a complaint but more of a warning to anyone that opens a new one, it just might erase the game if you do that.

I can't scroll down to new buildings - only farms, marketplaces, barracks and arenas are visible for me. Don't know if it's a bug or my computers fault
It's Unity's webplayer. You need to click inside the game maybe even click on the scroll bar and slide a little. Unity's webplayer has trouble deciding whether or not you are 'focused' inside it. So you need to click inside it to become focused, then you can interact with it. ~Taiga

There is a spelling mistake in the Map section. In the list it shows TAluht Isle but on the map, description and while fighting it is TEluht Isle.
How did that happen? What were you doing at the time? Data loss seems to happen to a small minority of people making it extremely difficult to identify what the issue could be. ~Taiga

One thing i don't quite get is that when I have 500 million troops, why can I only send 50k to conquer the first nation? I feel like if my power is that overwhelming it shouldn't take more than a glimpse to conquer it.

The castle upgrade "War rooms" button shows "more gold/troops produc", but the castle doesn't generate any gold (Before or after the upgrade).
A lot of text on the buttons are cut off (Like the previous example), including the large descriptions of the land you can conquer. I am on a 2560x1600 screen resolution so surely Kongregate isn't forcing my Unity screen to be smaller than intended or anything like that.
I'll withhold from gameplay criticism as you planned an overhaul of the conquer system.
Well our game doesn't support all screen resolutions. If things are being cut off you need to either zoom in or out on your browser tab with the game on it until things 'fit'.

@Tzeench: Despite of the name of the game, i doubt the idea is to be able to conquer everything in a couple days. Also, remember DK are almost useless alone. Having 100k-500k is not a big deal. After 1m DK you can conquer 1-6 contries pretty fast and it seems pretty good for me. Conquering is not something to do at early stages (at least not right now, dunno what would happen when they change it).

@aghloe: I dont mean any kind of offense to LGBTTIQA community but having female portraits would mean the general is a female and some catherine dialogs would be kinda weird.
They are, how many dark knights do you have? I have 200k and saw a considerable speed increase conquering Astrila and the first few countries. You need more dark knights to increase the speed of other countries considerably. The system was designed to make resetting less painful. Get yourself some more dark knights ;) ~Taiga

The troops gained while offline seem to hold no effect. I went to war with the weakest country with 79,000 power and 54 million troops, but I was only fighting with just over 80,000 troops.

I saw a comment about portraits, and the dev response. I will ask something different: what i suggest is a customizable portrait for the general (not the queen) that will identify ourselves (maybe we can choose the name too) some suggestions for posible portraits and phrase for each one are: Paladin (Plate armor, "Protect the queen!"), Barbarian (Light armor, "Blood for the queen!"), Scholar (Books and Glasses, "For science!"), Merchant(Rich robes, "This looks profitable!"), StuffedAnimal (Teddy Bear with monocle, "Kill them all!"), it would be even more amazing if we can have 2 portaits for each kind (male/female) And we could unlock portraits by playing... and each time we DK-Reset we can choose a diferent one :D... eventually each general may have specific skills that helps in a diferent way to the progress... paladin=troops?, barbarian=power?, scholar=prices?, merchant=money? stuffedAnimal=??? oh boy... i would love some of this to inspire dev :3

Local militia should be added which can be another addition to army power but at 1/4 the amount a regular troop would be as this will go for all countries and description would kinda be like there the police or guards of that country.
