The weapons in this game hide in the most WEIRDEST places. I found a automatic in a oven... and a shotgun in a dishwasher.

There is just 2 little things I must say:
WHO PUTS A RPG, 20 ROCKET LAUNCHER AMMO, AND A AUTOMATIC IN A OVEN? o_o
and...
WHO WOULD 2 HAMMERs, AND A PISTOL IN A FRIDGE? (lucky kitchen maybe? o3o)

melee weapons may not be able to take out a horde like an automatic but are still the best because they're good for dealing with bull SHlT. for instance: they never have a 95% miss chance, it's easy to hit enemies from both sides which will help for when you enter a building and are jumped by zombies, it knocks back zombies and kills them fast enough so that it keeps zombies from murdering your partner who refuses to back up, etc.

I know it's already been brought to your attention, but is there any chance of an update that will fix the revive companion bug? It gets annoying having to save and restart just to get your companion back. Other than that, this is by far one of my favorite games on Kongregate; or any other flash game site for that matter. The series as a whole is awesome. I've spent more time playing Dead Zone than I care to admit, but I still end up coming back to Union City. Nice work. Keep the games coming and please, if at all possible fix the revive bug.

Its always a mistake to make an RPG that ends with out the option to continue playing. Think about how much more value buying the add on's would be.

to revive companion: (don't leave the screen!) save game, save and quit, then reload and continue game. Your companion will be alive again. +this up for people to see please.

It's a Game that the player make a character and try to survive a Zombie Apocalypse.
Make your way to the glory of safety and search wife, Bethany, and save yourself from all this demoniac things. Pick up some weapons, search for supplies, look for letters and kill all the zombies that are trying to kill you. It's a game that: Kill OR Die.
