I was downvoted? Seriously!? I thought I was helping out all the frustated gamers with this problem?! Look, I'll say it again. For some reason you can't save your companion due to the dumb glitch. All you have to do to get around it when your companion dies (sort of, he's just sticking his hand in the air while on the ground) is by clicking on the "Save and Exit" button. When you click continue he won't be dead.

I figured it out by accident on how to save your companion and get around the "G" glitch. Just click on the little gear in the corner of the game and select "Save and Exit". Then when you select continue you're companion will be alive!! :D Up this comment so that other people will know too.

seriously hate these clunky controls. Died more times due to unresponsive controls than actually being overwhelmed by zombies...

@ FatBigmack just go into the settings and click "save and quit" then go back to the game and your survivor will be back.

this game is cool exept that the fact the zombies will pop out of the ceiling thats a gay thing about this game another is the noise on the guns i cant even use the gun because more will just come so theres no point make another game like this a part 2 to the campaign and make sure to not make the game to realisic i mean its a flippin zombie apocalpse game -.-

Far better than the first two, but they were amazing as well. I loved that you incorporated Jack into the union city part, was surprised when I had to make my own character instead of playing him. He's still a badass to the core ;P

Second hint: When you give your companion a weapon your companion will not need bullets.. once a weapon is in their hands they will not run out of ammo.. so i suggest give them a weapon thats strong like Scar-H or M16A4 or XM8 Supressed.. Note get used to supressed weapons so u wont attract a horde..

Hint for Everyone: The G button for Reviving companions is broken, to revive companions save and quit the game and then join again, your companion will be revived with the same weapon you gave him and fully healed... this also works on zombie hordes.. if there are to many zombies just save and quit and when you enter the game again the zeds are gone.. it doesn't work with your health points.. Oh and by the way, in that task where you have to find Richards, why couldnt the survivors have just smashed the door down? After all i DID have a hatchet.

Jesus. Those holes in the roof are swingy! Just had over 30 pop out in the hospital (I was at ~70 pistol kills, got the achievement, then maybe 5 more came out).

What's the point of saving game, if there is no possibility to exit (or die) WITHOUT saving, and then load the manually saved point?

OH JUST SHUT UP ABOUT THE COMPANION SAVING BUTTON! Just press [esc], click save and quit, go on your profile and your companion will be up again. Like taking hand grenades from a baby zombie. :p

"G" button to revive your partner's down. but you can use "save and quit" and "continue" to do the revive. well... you can even avoid zombie rush by this...
