Okay: Answers: Smarts improves the bonuses from books, People throw away Katanas, cuz they just take up space and are actually not so useful (except during a zombie Apocalypse when they die cuz they can't find it.) People hide guns and weapons in wierd places cuz they don't want no cops sneaking about in the house al the time... Thats all! Oh and yeah, a 10lb slegde hammer will not be able to break through an in-built lock, I think... And yeah, apparent, the game doesn't explain how you can perform an open-heart surgery by reading 'Beginner's guide to First Aid' forty times... + this so that people can read their answers, pls...

zombie plan o.k here we go first (bug in) which means barricade your home and stay there for as long as possible then when the food runs out search a local shop for sir-plies then get back to home as quick as possible and stay there until help comes if its doesn't try and find a radio(you would find in a cop car) and test all major frequencys in other words i need to get a life lol

"No exp, enemy level too low"......Really because to me, they looked like highly trained, and heavily armed soldiers defending a military base set up in a park.

Tips for pistol users?
Always have a melee weapon has your 2° weapon
Don't try to reload while a shitload of zombies are attacking you
If both you and your companion have a pistol, go melee and try to save him/her so .."it" can shoot the enemies
Boost blunt or blades skill, you're gonna need it!

I am really digging the bow, but i would also like the ability to recover my arrows from corpses and walls. I think that would be more realistic and make the bow a even better and more desirable.

I feel you Tanker. It sucks that valid criticism or just stating your opinion is met with such hostility. Unfortunately, what many people don't realize is that thumbing down valid criticisms only encourages developers to make shoddier products. This, in turn, results in said developers not venturing any further in the video game industry, or any industry for that matter. Thus, you get websites that produce hack developers that can't even manage to get a greenlight on Steam. I've learned to just get over it since 95% of the games on Kongregate are trash and the remaining 5%, while excellent, have a very dubious fate...unfortunately.

This game is so cool. I beat it 3 times and I have some advice for you guys.
1. Never EVER give your companion a melee weapon, give them any gun and they have unlimited ammo, hell give them an RPG!
2. When taking on hordes of zombies (that can reach from tens to possibly 100), use any explosive weapon you have. If you don't have an explosive weapon, stay as far away as possible. Not only does the damage kill you quick but they can grab you and prevent you from attacking.
4. Consume food and other healing items. Do not eat a bunch of food at low health to get an achievement, save them for when you need them. Zombies will eventually wear armor and wield weapons.
5. Always, Always check for notes and places that have loot! You never know, might be a gun, a book, or extra food you will need.
6. HAVE FUN!

@Order Venom because it's absolute bullshiz that people minus thumbs for something that I personally post as an opinion. I think it's ridiculous that somebody would spend that much time to basically say that your opinion is irrelevant or unnecessary. I just post comments to help people and let them know my experiences with a game for somebody to subtract my comment because they don't agree with me. I don't take it to heart, but I sure as heck don't like it! I guess I kinda over-reacted, but still. That's like me saying your life means nothing.
