Unfortunately most of the best weapons are acquired near the end of the game. And all at once. This kind of defeats the point of some of the assault rifles as you pretty much have to discard most of them because they aren't practical.

omg conartist its a great game biut fix the friggen save I was about to win but i wanted to go around looking for stuff so i saved when i got off i saved when i got back on tdoay I CANT SAVE please fix this

and new today: there are finally achievments related to kongregate, thank you con artists, but this game to say the least, has a ton of bugs in it, one time when i got an achieve on the in-game achievment and tryed to press E to close, i accidentally pressed W and, well from there, everything went to hell.

yeah, the mellee is probably the worser thing for your companions mainly becuase they dont follow you, the melle follows the "fu)cking kill everything to get EXP" rule, but as long as you give the companion good armor and a god, yet comon weapon (I.E. hammer drop) just let your companions go berzerk and when they die, just get the loot from any backpack zombies they killed, whether you choose to rescue them or not after you get what you want. is up to you.

also the partner survivors for me ae bugged, my survivor died to a horde and his body disappeared before i could save him, all i got was a red flashing icon of where he was but he was nowhere to be found, and also if i die in the area spamming G to find him he dies aswell, who thinks there should be an roster area to getback survivors you lost in the area? becuase to me, it was just REDICILOUS when i lost my partner in the delta-hospital complex, i also lost a very good hammer that day.

OMG XD when i first played this i didnt know what the symbols meant so i basically looted anything i SAW as of use, i thought that there was no difference between the trash icon and book icon since they both looked like books to me (the open book is a stat up i soon found later on, so thank god i didnt trash anything or was ever brave enough to trash anything) i missed like 5 safehouses in different buildings becuase i would ussually pass them by in the streets (like in dues ex where i'd take the most retarded route ever) and so on, i even didnt know what was with the music changing even though it sounded like L4D horde music (until i got indoors and this music played i had a heart attack, one zombie stronger tha the others dropped from above, so i thought it was a boss due to killing a zombie and looting) XD oh boy, how the times have changed, this is by far one of the most complex and yet most fun RPG's i've ever beaten. 5/5/5 all the way.

Wanted to swap weapons with Hank when suddenly zombies broke in through the upper wall, instead giving him the uzi, he kept the shovel, but aiming with it and shooting like if it was an uzi, pretty hilarious till saved game and backed up, he got the uzi :(

@KevinHanian: You can delete old game files by starting a new game then overwriting an old file. Alternatively, clear your cookies and you'll delete the saves.

For those of you who cannot revive your companion try saving and quitting the game while your companion is down, when you reload the game you companion should be back up. Rate + if it helped.

i know in the 'run and gun' if your companion falls, you can press G to save them, is there no feature like that in 'survivor' mode, or is it just a glitch with my computer?

The last level: Oh crap, RUN! I've taken 17 bullets but just keep running! Almost there, wait, how did you get in front of me? Never mind. RUN! sigh, on the boat. wait, did we leave Jack behind? Doesn't matter- we're gonna cross the Atlantic on this life raft...............finally...................................safe.............................................Oh COME ON!

i like this game alot. i wish the campaign was longer, btw thank you for the battle axe it is great. I think the next game should have two people you and a companion u can level up. i don't like how my companions can steal my kills and i don't get any XP or a kill :(. more map in the next game would be much appreciated.

WOW. Not sure if this happened to anyone else, but I was rummaging through a dresser, not really thinking about what I was doing, just kind of on auto-pilot, so I grabbed everything that wasn't useful and exited the loot screen. After I closed it, it said "10/25 junk items picked up" and I thought "I didn't pick up any junk..." so I opened my inventory, checked out my junk tab and I had just picked up a bottlecap. I play way too much Fallout.

to the dev i have just completed your awesome game i like how jacks story was intwined with this game and the previous games i like the last minute run away from a lot of zombies. and then get shot by 2 people. i liked how jack the one trying to save himself gave the boat to me and my wife and sacrficed himself to save us. but the biggest question is what happens to me and beth? thanks for making awesome games well done

the ending is very similiar to the movie Dawn of the Dead. They secure a boat and then start to run out of supplies and encounter zombies. it's kind of dumb though; how he still took her even though she was infected.
