@joerappy I agree there should be more tanks, but if you only grouped with people with the same tanks, there wouldn't be much point in buying the premium tanks because you would have the same advantages and disadvantages as other players

There should be more tanks and a ranking system so people with the same tanks could be in the same group so people with the halberger cant play with someone who only has the starters

Super tanks are a little OP. Their range makes them able to take out defenses without even trying - lower their range, and they'll be much more well-balanced.
Have you tried using the artillery towers? They have the same range when fully upgraded, and a single artillery artillery tower should be able to take out a super tank. Also remember that super tanks cost 2000, so you have to have pretty good defenses or armies to take out a single one.

Guys.....was a huge fan....... now it seems game is almost impossible when shields are up and bases are even. can't spend hours on a war of attrition.... need a way to bring the shields down... thoughts??
Yes, the shields definitely made for some long drawn out battles on small maps. I have changed sudden death mode now, so instead of getting more credits the units do more armies (but not towers!). That should make it easier to break through the defenses and end the game - let me know if it works! :)

econemy upgrades like expanding your base so you can build more towers would be good, or mayb add in a space map so you can fly around in space
Yes, there needs to be more upgrades in the future - right now we're working on a map editor. We really hadn't thought of a space map, but maybe when we get some flying units :D

A good idea for a unit and tower would be the Tesla types. The Tesla Tank pierces armor and has good damage against Supers and Lights, but low on heavies and normal on mediums. Its attack would chock 3 nearby enemies, causing half damage each. Firepower: Medium Armor: Medium Speed: Medium Range: Long. Upgrades include: Tesla Coil Upgrade (increases damage and firing speed) and Tesla Shield (increases defense against units and nukes) (it would look like the mine shield). Cost per unit: 350 Building speed: 6 seconds. The Tesla Tower would have equal effects as the Tesla Tank (chockwave (cause chock on the 3 nearby units of the main target)) and of course, the same aspects as the other towers when they are upgraded: increased health and main damage. Cost: 400 Building time: Same as the Cannon Tower. Suggestion: it pierces armor and has increased damage against Supers and Lights, normal damage agaist Mediums and Heavies.

Do you mind posting them on our forum? forum.conquermars.com - that way it will be a lot easier to discuss how we can make the future units work together and balance everything. I spend most my time fixing bugs and making features, it would be really awesome if you could help balance the game and plan out new units! :)

The one big doner tank is very op, took 6 missiles and 40 tanks to kill one -_- and the AI will make an army of 50 and not loose a single one, then theyll kill off hundreds of my tanks
Super tanks cost 2000 credits, so you really need a big army to take one out - 2000 credits will buy you over 20 battle tanks, so it's quite a lot. Also Super tanks are not that vulnerable to missiles unless they really hit spot on.

if you can make flying units that could be awesome and with units that can attack air units and also can there be four type of units light,medium,heavy,super and can make the super flying unit spawn units that the person is using in the game and it needs to be a upgrade and the other upgrade is a healing weapon to heal units
There are actually 4 types of units - you can see that on the deck selection page! The differences between classes is a big part of how we balance the units against each other :) But yes, there should definitely be flying units!!

New feature, it would be great to be able to choose ai or humans in teams, for exemple i would like to be allied with 3 ai vs 4 humans in a 8 player map.there is an indirect way to do it but it breaks the initial placements. thanks for the great game !

Put a setting for hosts to take away rocket / missles and setting for host for other things like what tanks u want ppl to use
I would love to do that - but it's not as easy as it sounds. The problem is that what do you then do with the players who have missiles units in their deck or other units that are not allowed? So in the future, we will look at it - but right now we're focusing on a single type of game that works really well, when that works we can always make all kinds of options :)
Do you mean for the chat? I haven't noticed too much of a problem right now, and we would need to build an entire system for it - but please let me know if you see any problems! Oh, and thanks a lot for the offer :) If we get the forum going that would definitely need mods eventually.

here are my suggestions 1 needs a in game currency to buy units the game currency can be used to buy units it is scaled to the power of it u can use kreds to buy the in game currency 2) needs some sort of special event where u can fight against bosses or minigames in coop or single player mode each boss has its own special unit. if somebody defeats the boss or the minigame the boss or the minigame will give the player the special unit it has. u can also buy special units by kreds
Thanks gabriel :) In game currency is something that is on the long term feature list - so something like that is coming, but it's going to be a while. The next features that's coming is the map editor, so that is priority right now.
I really like the ideas of boss battles - I seriously love boss battles :P ... So when the map editor i complete I'm thinking that I'll make a tutorial / small campaign, and boss battles should definitely be a part of that! :)
Sorry :( What do you mean by lagged - was it your connection or did the game just run really slow? If the game runs slow, you can lower your settings by clicking the wench in the top right corner.

any chance of a more in depth map creator, at least to where we can choose where things go? maybe even larger maps with different starting locations other than the current that are for 8 players? very promising game though. also it looks like the game has been updated recently but the update box has nothing as of recent in it?
Yes! I'm working on a map editor right now, and just finished the part of actually changing the environment, but there's still quite a bit of work left. I have just "relaunched" our forum at forum.conquermars.com where you can see release notes and there's also a link to preview the map editor :)

Seriously, if I press start and someone leave the countdown should stop. Also it shouldn't be possible to change teams after the countdown started

The new AI system is horrible. It's so inefficient. Maybe because you guys wanted to make it less OP.. but now it's just so subdued that it lets a whole team lose as long as it doesn't get attacked. There is literally no point in having the AI on the team since it doesn't contribute to the team at all, unless one member of a team lost their base. Also some of the maps are very biased towards certain mines.. I remember having one map where my base was surrounded by mountains... and there was no way I could try to fight to gain mines since by the time my troops got to the mines they are already claimed and defended.
Haha, I think you've just gotten a lot better at the game ;) I haven't actually done anything since the release on kongregate to the AI. I want to make a much better AI at one point, but right now it's a bit down the priority list. But I agree, the AI is way too stupid and annoying in many situations.

I like that types of games - TA SPRING/TOTAL ANIHHILATION etc. And this one is good exept few things. 1) LACK of central server - games are laggy. 2) Not enoght units to build so tactics are quite limited 3) It is quite slow on running on full screen (while i have quite fast gaming PC - this game make it slow like hell)
Yes, I like those games a well, which exactly why I made Conquer Mars ;) 1) There is actually a central server, but it's in California, so it's probably slow for a lot of people 2) I know, we're planning on making more 3) Sorry, you can adjust it in settings, and maybe adjust the area it draws on. The reason is Flash can only run full resolution, and even good graphics cards can have trouble with that.
