Ctrl + F5 didn't fix it either. I am using Firefox latest version. Exporting the game and importing it to chrome fixes the problem in Chrome. The freeze happens after the bar fills up.
The console error is IndexSizeError: Index or size is negative or greater than the allowed amount

Hope it helps. Thanks for your awesome game. Keep up the good work
Aha! It's firefox which puts limits on image source coordinates. And I assumed Ctrl + F5 xD
Other browsers work fine, looking into the problem now, thanks :) Does it work now?

Way better than mobile merge games because there's not a billion IAPs that halt your progression if you don't buy them lol

Slightly triggered by the fact that the bottom wall is under the upgrade tab (even when it's hidden) when all three other walls fall flush with the border, but otherwise good game!

There should be a description that the quantum processor prestiges all your prior stuff. You should buy it the moment you can get to 5k quantum foam.

Very nice game to look at, is fun. Because I'm looking at it all the time I noticed, that if three of the same balls hit each other at the same time, they will annihiliate themself without a new higher ball, is that intended? regards
That's an edge case scenario I haven't thought about :D It should happen so rarely that it can be ignored for now (the collision must be pixel perfect).
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I load the game, the bar reduces. then nothing happens, and nothing happens when I click on the game area. Yay, how exciting, a game that does absolutely nothing.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
1st quantum processor consumed my quantum foam entirely, so 8k instead of the of the said 5k..., appart that point, great game !

" oh god the blurry numbers make my brain hurt." He meant when the buttons are disabled! Just remove "filter: brightness(0.7) blur(1px)" from your CSS.

Nice and zen. The upgrades could be automatical, though, for a true idle experience. Then this pseudo-aquarium would challenge Progress Quest for its #1 place.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I like it. But. What if you could tap or click on the sides of the screen and it would slightly shake the balls in the direction you tapped, like if you were shaking a vending machine. Then we could try to get balls to merge faster only if they were really close to touching though. And we'd have something to do.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This game should get low scores. There's not much content, it's a merge game, the pacing isn't exactly fast... but for some weird reason it's ... well... fun.
I've sat and watched these silly balls merge for 30 minutes and didn't realize that much time had passed... what subliminal trickery is this?! 4 stars because trickery or not, I am actually enjoying this game.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I don't see my Quantum foam number listed, and I don't see its multiplicative result reflected in the bar value at the start of the run.
on a tick, delta time somehow got below 0 and the number library treats negative numbers as NaN (Not a Number). Sorry, that's broken right now. Delta is fixed but the Molecules won't reset. Should fix it.

Faster spawn is hilariously overpriced. Since 99% of your income comes from your highest ball the main purpose of upgrades is to make it higher. +1 spawn tier effectively doubles your spawn speed each level, which means the very first tier upgrade outclasses the cumulative effect of every single faster spawn upgrade until around 1sx cost, and the second tier upgrade outclasses every faster spawn upgrade you will ever buy.

First 60 seconds. I think this will take some work, but you're on to something. I like this. There's not much now but you have a good concept.

This game is like when we all used to watch the Blu-ray player's screensaver and wait for it to perfectly hit the corner...

Pode ser acrecentado um sistema de rebirth , mais upergrades como velocidade do movimento da bola , porcentagem de nascer duas ou com um tier mais alto . Mas não tem muita diferença de outros jogos de merger, não teve novidades

I don't think there is a need to blur the numbers when you are already color coating them to show what is available to upgrades and what isn't.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
You make the buttons blurry when you dont have the matter to buy it. That's so stupidly annoying. It's a pain to look at.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Not bad, but the layout, or actually the screen size is a serious problem. You can't see the upgrades (and their prices) along with the available cash. This makes the game really awkward to play.
making the canvas adaptive to the resolution would take some more work, would have taken too long today. Zooming out the browser is a workaround. Edit: Blur removed

I'm just not making progress. I've a few thousand foam and 2 energy cores and yet it is still most efficient to reset at merger 25. Anything beyond that takes way too long. Is this just one of those long idle games?
Since I've made this like 1 year ago and only polished the UI now, I can't really remember. It could be grindy though, might rebalnace in the future.
But general progress should be possible.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Once you prestige a bit it does get more interesting with all the upgrades. Warning for folks: the energy cores cost quantum foam. Probably obvious but I wasn't sure until I clicked it.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Hmmm, ok so this game could actually be pretty good, unfortunately it suffers from a few serious design flaws. Firstly, the "upgrades" window having a scroll function is pretty annoying, allow the upgrades menu to take up more of the screen or let us scroll by clicking in the screen rather than having to use the scroll bar at the side. Secondly, having only 3 upgrades at the start will likely put a lot of players off before they even prestige for the first time, make more upgrades available earlier on. There are may more issues but I think resolving these 2 major issues would be a pretty good start.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Ok, i've reach 1T, and the REBIRTH button has appeared... For what?
I cannot rebirth at 1T and i dont know when i will gain 1 Quantum foam...
On idle game, we have the "reset" button since start or, they became available, when we can do something...
Decide, please...

@cook1eegamse i dont get it ... i stick with your numbers ... 100 quantum for you to spend ... you buy for 70 quantom the boost from 25% -> 50% ... you gain 25% ( spend in the shop) + 30% (100 - 70 = 30 left) boost = gain off 55% vs 100% boost if you spend nothing
we both had agreed the if you buy something the prestige is lost
???
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I liked the canvas smaller because I keep the upgrades open. Now the upgrades block the game screen . . . please change it back or give a setting to change it back.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
hm either my math is wrong or the upgrades you could by from prestige have lesser value then the standard prestige 1% ... ie Matter Boost 2 ... 70 prestige for a boost of 25% or 70 prestige = 70% boost .... as far i can tell if you buy something from prestige the presitge is gone and dont add to the normal precentage
The Normal Prestige Boost is lost, but they are compounding. If you have the Matter Boost prestige upgrade at 25% and 100 Quantum foam, you get x2.00 * x1.25 = x2.50 more Matter
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Needs more upgrades. Something to make the balls go faster, or get bigger, or a % chance for a critical merge, etc. Your title shows you know there are other games similar to this - go look at what works in those and borrow it.
Until 100B matter (main resource) there are only 3 upgrades, but theres more stuff that unlocks later on like Quantum Foam with respective upgrades, isotopes, molecules and more (so we have about 15 upgrades in the end)
Do you mean the Canvas is too large. Yes, it is. I could look into making it smaller.
The problem is that the game was concepted for full hd before, therefore the canvas covers almost the entire frame...
Edit: the UI should be more appealing now
