Still a great game after finishing it a half dozen times. Thanks for the speed hotkeys, can we get tower hotkeys too? =)

A great tower defense game with numerous options for various level turnouts. Very well put together and beautiful to watch while playing.

The game was amazing, simply. Good graphics, a good storyline, a great concept for the towers, a great selection of enemies, and a consistent difficulty, 5/5. Now I want to see a sequel.

For level 23 wait till you've killed everything that can reach your data cores then put a couple of towers (I'd suggest ping with amplify and range and sentry with fork and 2 linkers) as near to them as you can).

I...see. I guess I wasn't paying enough attention. :/ All I remember the Collective and Axon talking about was simply "they just say we're killers", no "and also that we're AIs only we're not" added on.
Speaking of level 23, I'm stuck on that too. I have no clue how you're supposed to deal with them. -_-

@Fig_Hunter: They are called AIs not because they truly are AIs, but because those outside the system think they are AIs. There are several times that they talk about what those outside the system think of the...constructs for lack of a better word at the moment. Saying they are violent and need to be shut down and such. The human population will title anything that they think they understand, even if that is not truly what the case is.

@ Knurv: Yes, I'm aware. However, it can take a while to randomly generate the configuration you need, and if you screw up, you have to scrap the entire thing and wait for the cooldown to finish before placing again.
@ Squishy32: ...? I did not get that impression at all. Where does it say that? Maybe I skimmed over something by accident. Ah well, I'm on level 21 now, should see the resolution to the story soon. If they're just digitally-uploaded humans or something like that though, then I retract my previous statement. They shouldn't be called AIs though, since they're not *artificial* intelligences.

@Fig_Hunter: I don't want to spoil any story for anyone so I won't say too much, but you should have easily picked up by level 19 that the "robots" or AIs as they were called were all not origionally AIs. That means that they are still sentient in all regards.

Love the game. @FigHunter: Configurability of towers is not random - the game will cycle through all possible colour combinations if you just wait before placing the tower. I would love to be able to interactively change pod colours though, instead of having to cycle through the possibilities to get the desired one. The three bonus levels ("monster mode") somebody mentioned below are only available if you save all 250 cores.

Secondly, the storyline. Though I congratulate you on including one (I consider storyline to be a very important aspect of games – if there's no narrative, things tend to get boring), it's based on a dull and really grating cliche. Robots are lines of code. They are not people; they cannot do anything more than the limits on their coding, as any programmer can tell you. The whole idea was made up by Holywood writers, who, as I'm sure you know, are infamous for not doing their research. The entire concept of robots feeling oppressed and rebelling is absolutely ridiculous and cannot conceivably happen unless they were specifically coded that way. Even so, they would not elicit sympathy from me because they are not sentient creatures who are actually feeling oppressed. Sorry if that sounded like a rant, but that cliche is just really grating for me since I've seen it so many times. Maybe it gets more original later on though, I'll have to see. In any case, this game is very good. 5/5.

(Splitting this into two parts because it exceeds the character limit)
Tower Defense games usually don't appeal to me for some reason, but I like this one. I've gotten to level 19 currently. Data Bugs are really annoying though.
I just have two criticisms: First, the randomness of what upgrades you can add to towers. Which upgrades you use can mean the difference between victory and defeat, yet if you can't wait to get the right combination of colours or panic and place the tower instantly, you have to remove it later and try again to get the right combination. I think that it would have been nice to determine what colours you want in advance.

If you're having trouble with the medic levels, use focus on them first, once they're gone you should be able to handle the rest of the enemies since they're not getting healed. With reapers, focus on the other enemies, the reapers will take down those harder enemies as well. Nice little tag-team with the opposition.

I have to say just WOW when i played this game, its incrediable it really is, ive never seen this much work into a flash game well done sir well done 5/5

I tried leaving Medic for the last, then move towers next to them but that didn't help t all. This level is just impossible to beat. check it out, give me some tips.

If you think level 10 is hard, go back and re-read the hint it gives you at the start of the level. It's practically impossible to beat lvl 10 the first time you play it, but it should be super easy the second time you try it.

Played through level 25. Repeated every level until I achieved perfection. Got to Monster Mode. Enjoyed all three levels of Monster Mode, which are comparatively innovative for the genre. The sequel to this game, AND Ghost Hacker: Monster Mode Madness are being released when?

New strategy I just discovered: First make a tracer tower with beam + range + slow + whatever. This will collect all the mobs into one clump. Next, make a sentry tower with beam + multiplier + battery near the end of the level, and as soon as the group gets in range it goes PEWPEWPEWPEWPEW and kills them in the blink of an eye. :D Try it, its fun!

I love the color randomization man, especially when you magically land two greens and one blue. One fork + one memory leak + one linker can make any tower ridiculously powerful ^^
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
there should be survival mode and sandbox , once finished it i didn't want to play it anymore, but if theres sandbox or survival it would be better

One way to get rid of the annoying rotating colors would be to just make it so you can put any upgrade on a tower, with the restriction that you can't have more than 2 of the same color upgrade, and on towers with 4, you must have at least 3 colors. This would effectively make the same rules for upgrading towers, but without having to wait for the colors to rotate. Click + if you think this is a good suggestion!

@Kbalz: It is impossible for there to ever be three of any one color on any one tower. This was done intentionally. It is not a problem with the color randomization, but to encourage diversification.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The color randomization part sucks.. I clearly see the same dozen or so looping.
You never see three of one color on a tracer for instance.

Another Tower Defense game, but the system of customizing every tower with upgrades is a appreciated change, and i like the music *thumbs up*

I love this game ! I finised it with great pleasure :D
My only regret is that in most level there's to few wave of enemy : when I just set a good working defense mixing different tower and upgrade, this is the end of the level...
Or maybe, just a survive mode addon (unlimited number of waves, each bigger than previous, so you just try to stay alive the longer you can before, anyway, dying).
Thank's for this great game anyway !

@ffreak3: Could you please elaborate on what you mean by woefully under-developed? Do you mean it wasn't long enough? Was it not balanced in terms of units? Where there not enough towers? Was there too much memory? Any info helps towards creating a better game.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Some levels were still even a challenge when going back to get 10 cores on each level! and yes it unlocks "monster mode' where u play in the reverse. I sure wish I had that many towers on any 1 level!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Great Game! Incredibly balanced and challenging without being frustrating. The memory, or money, system was good for forcing you to buy strategically and place wisely (even though you can mov your towers after placing. Great TD and Good Job!
