I'm pissed off about how the top comments are actually one of the first. The first person who says a clever or nice thing automatically is set for top comment, it cannot be taken down either, under undesirable circumstances. But I loved the game 5/5

tricky puzzle game, but NOT driving you up the wall, because of any impossible maze/riddle-jump-click-keycombo stuff. like!!

quite a nice little game, the only things i would say is "x" is a bit awkward to press when moving there are lots of nicer buttons spare and a restart button at the end of each level would be nice but apart from that a really nice little game.

@Was wondering how the hell you have 4000 more points than me. Then I realized that it's because you saved 6 more creatures than me........
Welp, time to look for some new strats :p

@Dean647: I felt the same at first. But then I realized that each extra second gives you exactly 19 points, so you can always calculate what your personal best time was. By the way, my 87400 score is 100% legit, try to beat it if you can... one guy already did. (Current No.1 92k score is obviously fake - the guy had 129 creatures alive before his score was deleted.)

for those of us speedrunning every level, it would help to show the best time (not just best score) for each level :) Great game!

I like puzzle game but the timing and dexterity requirement just kill the fun part for me. What's wrong with point and click to create stone?

level 8 needs more tolerance to walk steps. Gets very frustating to get the guy exactly on the level to go throu and I don't have any intention to go for the stars here.

Too easy, cleared too fast, giving me the impression it's a demo :( On the other hand, totally Nitrome Studios' style, which I love. Keep it vintage! A good 3.7/5 for me.

@Incentardis, no need for pixel perfection. Think about it, it's not neccecairy not to jump, you just have to jump from someplace lower.

So far I've found six levels where it's possible to save more creatures than needed for 3 stars. These levels are 3, 6, 16, 18, 20 and 23. Getting all 3 stars with the minimum required creatures saved will give you a total of 87 creatures saved. This way you can get at least 95 (one extra creature per level, except level 18 which can give you a +3).

Not as challenging as other games but just as enjoyable. I got all the stars and was hoping for a better ending but since there's no intro I'll let it slide.

Nice difficulty curve. Until you hit level 8. And it's similar to a few games (Kill Me!, Dibbles, Making Monkeys) but has its own unique spin on things. And that bloody level 8.

@hammerman360 Wondering how in the world you could beat some levels with only one character. Like 23 for example. No way you can get across all those spikes, retrieve the card to open the door, go BACK across the spikes UP to the 2nd level and across all THOSE spikes to the door without hitting the ground. Not unless you can continually jump in mid-air and I can't...

@supercyborg1994 Try turning your guys to stone low enough that you can fall down to them and jump up safely (without hitting the spikes up top).
Nice game, great concept [5/5].

The game is definitely good, but it needs a bit more margin for error. This is especially notable on level 8, where you have to turn to stone perfectly so that you can walk over each block without jumping. Even the tiniest mistake there and you can't move forward. I'd suggest letting the guy walk up a space or two to allow for slight timing errors.
