Superb game, gave it 5/5, however I avoid the 2-4 mode, as it's usually trial & error, as opposed to 1-9 and 1-19 that require logic instead
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
a bit boring after a while. additionally, after initially ruling out some numbers, can be solved by click-trial&error in a lot of cases.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It would help to solve this more quickly if we have another color coding to represent that this number *will* be included in the final solution as opposed to the *unresolved*.

here's the strategy to solve any level with minimal amount of counting.
- click every circle twice
- if the numbers in column/row lights up, you dont have to click anymore circle in that column/row.
-sweep again but look for circle that the column and row hasnt been lighted up yet. this will light up the column and row that needs 2 circle to be subtracted.
- sometimes you need to guess which several circle that needs to be clicked at the same time in a row and column. but at this point, you're probably done with 70-80% of the puzzle.
- if you find a dead end, you might want to turn off a few circle that have multiple possibilities in a row/column.
this method is exploitable because:
1. the number lights up to show you that the column/row is solved
2. in most of the puzzle i finish there is always one circle subtracted solution in a column/row.
3. the game didnt punish you from excessive trial clicks.

I really like it. No timer, smooth design, not like any other number puzzle I've seen, I can chill out and play this for hours.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Really nice game, but I'd like if there was a running total outside the rows & columns saying what the current sum was.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The only thing I'd like different so far is I'd like the checkmark at the end of the level to not obscure the board. I like the emotional satisfaction of seeing a completed board.

The only missing thing is that locked tiles don't substract their value from the appropriate columns & rows That would be a great UI improvement.

because of the simple rule, i found a method to finish the game without even counting, on the highest difficulty. purely on guesswork. this breaks the game for me, it feels like sudoku with cheat codes. but great math game nonetheless..

because of how the game works, i found a method, that could go through 80% completion in the hardest difficulty. finishing the rest with guesswork.

MAJOR BUG! It's not possible to unlock a number that is off. This seems to be a recent bug, as locking numbers off seems to be a recent addition.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I made my last comment without realizing that you can lock in numbers by clicking and holding on them. I'm sorry for not reading the instructions.

I liked the first two games I played, but I couldn't complete the 8x8 puzzles. There were so many tiles that I knew for sure needed to stay, but I couldn't visualize them once I went on to the next line. Please implement some kind of system where the colors change or we can color code the tiles ourselves.

u should make achievements, and make it level passed
not all levels are opened to play
like i need to solve 5x5 then 6x6 would open
that would give ur game somthing to stay at it

Hey, guys! Hit a "How to play" button once, in two minutes you'll see the answers to the most glaring issues according to popular comments. The way to lock keepers and even more! I promise :)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Idea: first of all allow to lock numbers that you're sure they're NOT in the solution. Then, you could color-code everything: yellow for unsure unpressed, green for sure unpressed, red for unsure pressed and black for sure pressed. That would be easier on big levels.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It's nice to play but it would be nice if you added some options like:
1. Allow to lock individual numbers
2. Add an option to show the total sum of each column and row as it currently is.
3. Allow to change the colour of the locked options. The outline is nice but when you have loads of them, it's hard to see which is locked and which isn't.
4. Could also add a 'check' button for those who find it difficult, so it checks the locked numbers and freezes the correct ones or something.
The mobile versions are available now! :)

Very addicting, love the peaceful ambiance. Just wish there were a little marker to note ones that you know shouldn't be marked down or something. (It gets a little hard to keep track of when you do the larger puzzles.)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Cool game. I'd just like to add one thing. Please add a way to change the color to green on the circles that you're sure 100% are right.

Very nice game, an excellent idea! However, I have two suggestions: make it scalable with the browser's zoom, and the transition between menus faster. That's all!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I haven't seen a pattern for this, but as I play, sometimes when I turn off a number, it gets a thick circle around it and I can't turn it back on. One time, I got it on the first number I clicked on.
This means that if I meant to lock a number on, but somehow release too soon, and this happens, I need to restart the level. Is this a bug?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This one could really use an undo function, or something like been able to store a given state. And locking number removed too...

Those who say this game is too easy have never tried to solve the 8x8 2-4 puzzles without trial and error. If you thought having multiple solutions was bad, try having to account for that in your solution procedure, especially when the 3s aren't independently solvable from 2s and 4s.

Hi I just want to say that you'ev done a very respectable job creating an elegant system with pretty much no fluff around it - although you probably should add some fluff just to get more people hooked. It may not be getting 4 stars at the moment but from your game we can see your intelligence coming through. Thank you for your game. It's very rare nowadays to see such a classical approach that focuses on elegant systems that can withstands the test of time.

Wow, this game feels a LOT like sudoku :D (I like sudoku, and this is even better!) Basically a 1/3 turn "uneven" sudoku. No, seriously (think about it - subtraction isn't the opposite of addition, but a 1/3 turn since the same number can be revealed in both)
