Nice game but it's a bit difficult sometimes to see the differences between two objects. Also I prefer hard mode because I sometimes click on the cross instead of the item in normal mode

I'm still having a problem with high scores loading - specifically, when I get a better score on a level it doesn't update my score. I've shaved like a couple minutes off my aggregate time with no movement.

so, yes, as a puzzle game this is way too easy, its more like a find the objects game, but then the highlighting system makes it way too easy for that also. if you look at it as a puzzle game for little kids then it's probably spot on
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
too many different symbols and too many clues. the game is only interesting for the first few levels when there are multiple options for each clue. In the later levels most of the clues only have 1 possible combination, pretty much making this game a click fest rather than a puzzle game.

As cute as this game looks like, I'd really enjoy it a lot more if I could actually read the instructions given in-game. For some reason, they all stay on one line so the latter half? of the instructions gets cut off. Ie. "Now click on this clue! It means that Jack's room is so", and "Jack can be anyv" which makes it a tad bit difficult to understand.

This game is nice, but it's too easy. In fact, the early levels prove more difficult than the later ones. Remove some clues, so it would make the game harder, maybe adding a third level.

Nice revamp of Sherlock. Sweet music and grafics. For me, it only needs some adjustments when it comes to to the clicks... i too often click the item when i try to click the x and vice versa.

This game is reminiscent of but not as good as a very old DOS game called Sherlock. Oddly, I just looked for that old game and apparently the publisher of Sherlock not only still exists but has remade their games for Windows and Mac but didn't update the visuals...

Reminds me of "Sherlock", 16-color MS-Dos game back in the 90's.
Though the levels in that game had JUST enough clues to solve the riddle, which meant you had to combine the clues.

I loved the game, but it became far too simple once I got into the swing of it. I'd love to see a sequel of some kind, but I have to agree that maybe offer less clues per level as you get further along.
Maybe look at other styles of clue-based logic puzzles for a sequel/follow-up game. I know I'd love to play them :D

As others have said, its a nice twist on the classic logic puzzle. The biggest issue is the 'X' button user interaction (pretty much every "wrong" choice I made was the game interpreting my click differently than was my intent). My next biggest issue is on multi-item rooms it was nearly impossible for me to differentiate an already found item from the remaining choices. After clicking on a clue I also did not find the highlighting of the related items to stand out enough (at least grey-scaling the background room pictures would help tremendously). Lastly I'll mention all the clues. The fact that there is way more than is necessary is one thing, but my bigger issue is that I often had to search too much to find unfinished clues. Since you don't allow people putting in wrong answers, a finished clue will never have another use. Maybe just delete them rather than leaving pages and pages of gray.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
an example of how many clues aren't needed, i was able to beat level 12 with only using the first half of the pages without too much trouble
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
In later levels there's usually only one possible answer for every clue, making the challenge trivial- I barely ever had to skip a clue. There are also far too many unnecessary clues.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Too many choices of pets and accessories to be a puzzle, as you get further on there's loads of variety in what's in play BUT this means that the clues pretty much have only one possible answer. Less would be more here
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I give it a 1 star due to a bug where the game decides that the right object is wrong (Click on it again works, but it drains your attepts)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I like a lot of it! I agree with others that the game was easier to play once the
+ clues were added in, they made those rooms pretty trivial to solve. also had some problems loading the game (current version of flash, Safari 11.1.2, Mac 10.13.6)

A couple times in hard mode, the option to right click doesn't remove the object clicked on, nor does it count as incorrect. say my clue is A - > B. if i remove the B from the left column, it does nothing, but then the A in that square is the correct one for the puzzle, and the B is somewhere to the right as expected.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Sometimes even though you removed an item, you hover over a clue and it highlights a blank circle. I hope this gets fixed.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
More than once it gets as a wrong guess when I click the cross to remove... pretty annoying... other than that, pretty cute game!

Love this game! Logic games are some of my favorites! 3 comments though: 1-Please remove the solved clues, that would make the game much smoother if the unresolved clues would enter the screen automatically instead of needing to flip the page. 2-The colors on the 'already chosen' pics when you have multiple in 1 room are not very clear. Perhaps make them bigger and put them in the background of the room so the possible options float in front of them? 3-Too many clues. Especially on the later levels, I never get to the latest page of clues. Hard to code to make sure you always have enough clues though!

If I have a complaint, it's that the icons are too generic. When I'm thinking to myself "The cat is above the fox" and then there are three different fox-looking icons, it doesn't help much.

nice logic puzzle but giving me eye strain, I wish you could highlight the items more clearly or even just have clearer and/or larger images , or I had younger eyes might help :)

Please give us an option to disable instant error feedback. I missed the frustration I felt twenty years ago with Sherlock :)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Good mechanics and cute. Too much clues though. The game eventually becomes "how fast can you find the item and click it" instead of a puzzle.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It also frequently crashes on firefox. It would be great if used hints disappeared, and if the things were easier to differentiate of each other.

1/5 game tells me to find the animals, then i do, then i find out that im supposed to find a fuc king popsicle and bone?????????????????????????????????????????

I don't understand your clues, after 3 tries, in the tutorial? "Oh, he's in this room." Okay, but...what makes him be in THIS room though? I keep failing, and am annoyed. This isn't a good tutorial.

Cute and fun, but on higher levels, the highlighting does not help you much because everything is just a mess of colours.
Probably fade out background and non relevant tiles.

Really Close to being a great game, but missing so much, couldn't finish it because of all the issues from top comments!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I have a hard time choosing between the delete and keep on the clue - most of the time I fail is because I misclicked on the clue. Can there be an option to right click to delete clues or a more clear when you're accepting vs deleting a clue? or at least reduce the delete to the little circle

Game has a bad habit of crashing when a level is completed. The clock keeps running and you can't press anything. Fix this bug.

wonder why this game has no badge at all? it is challenging and refreshing puzzle game , it surely deserved badge or two, rather than most of pay to win games that enjoy protege status by kongregate.

I am struggling to tell many of the pictures apart. Removing the backgrounds would help me, and maybe making those pizza slices more different from each other.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
In later levels, I spend half of the time clicking on the next/previous page buttons. This really takes the fun out of the game. Clues should be removed as soon as they are fulfilled. Also, as others have said, it would be nice to have the minimum number of clues -- no need for all the redundant ones.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@crescentyr: that option to right click remove should be the default. It's too easy to click on the x when the items are small. I lost most of my errors mis-clicking on the correct item because I didn't hit the exact spot.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Far too easy, with far too many things to match. In most of these levels, I only get halfway through the clues before I have enough to know the rest. Also, there is almost no ambiguity. the lions share I have seen has only one possibility for each clue, where most like this only give you one or two matches for free.
