to DEV: why don't you make it so that users can spend money (a dollar or two) to get increased EXP rate, and develop the game further?

Just started playing and this seems pretty interesting so far. I just wish I could either slow down or stop combat so I can figure out what is going on.

Everyone seems to think that melee is the only way to succeed in this game, however I would strongly disagree considering I have found no one in PvP that I cannot easily over power. I succeeded in getting my Int. up to over 3000 with items, (jewelry mostly) skills, and the "Master of Icespear" title. Having a +15 tome I have enough cast chance to max it out, then I use Mana shield (blocking 95% damage after PRT is applied), Ice spear with a 100% chance of stunning for 3 turns, and Fireball stacking 3000 damage with every hit.

The best use of a pet I'd seen was actually on PvP (One of the few times I got it to work), where this player had a Smash+Critical+Lifedrain setup, his pet was a very good defender that would take damage for him and heal both itself and it's player very well. I'm still looking for that defender, but right now my attacker dragon will simply have to do.
Anyway, 5 stars, even though I lost a level 200 character in the great character purge. Restarting was a pain, but what can you do?

Pets don't seem to make any difference in endgame battle, or if they do it's very small. Purple items very -rarely- drop, which I think is appropriate, or would be if you didn't need to go through so many of them to get one that's maxed out. The bonuses are actually (at end game) marginal compared to Epic equipment, which is much easier to come by for nearly any gear setup.
I think it's a slight design flaw, making melee the only way to succeed in this game... then again, it is an Idle game I'm reviewing, but I find it far too much fun to be something that sits in the background! A suggestion if I might, CRITGAME, is expanding our current amount of skills. It would be very nice to see a healing spell of some sort, which would make using a Bow, a two-handed weapon, and spell slinging much more viable in the final levels. Also, the Dragon and Unicorn pets are... somewhat underwhelming, although ??? isn't really a place for pets.

Right now it seems that Battle Without End has just one definitive 'winning' strategy for end-game, which is this:
1. Increase your luck as high as you can. Ridiculously high. Jewelry is best for this. Do nothing but this so you can make +15 gear.
2. Dagger+One handed Melee weapon, raise your Critical and Critical Multiplier as high as you can.
3. Set skills to +Defense +Counterattack +Smash +Lifedrain (The only way to heal in combat)
Smash with high base damage combined with the ludicrous Critical Multiplier of a dagger is sure to get you the damage output actually needed to kill those bosses of ???.
A +14 item is far -far- better than a +13 item, and that's a sight better from a +12 item, but really they both pale in comparison (and sometimes their combined bonuses can't compare) with a +15 item. A +15 Epic Dagger will have 1576 to Crit Multiplier. That's a flat x15 on critical damage. It's wild.

Can you make something other than items thats increases luck because if i try to stack luck then my items arnt good enough to kill things to get items better than what i already have and right now im not getting anything worth keeping

I'm not sure if the "Gambels on a single blow" does anything, but it shows as ??? so i'd guess it dosent. If it dosent I'd like to come with a suggestion to it. "+100 CRT +50 CRT. M -50 BAL"
ALT 2 : "+ 50 ATK + 100 CRT + 50 CRT. M - 60 PRT"
Or maybe just pure crit chance.

For pets - if the name is long enough - the level will clip under the "equip" and "sell" key. For larger names like this (such as "Goblin Warrior"), to make the names two lines long to avoid this.

I will gladly throw in tips for the great work done on this project. . .but the tip jar is missing from this game. I'd also buy in-game goodies or upgrades, too. However, there's no way for us to do that. Plus this up so the developer can earn the rewards of his hard work!

I noticed that you updated Thunder to be based off of Int instead of Will, I would suggest also changing the "Master of Thunder" title to adjust for that switch.

thanks developer for this game. best idle so far. and i was playing a knights story 1/2... when will the pet fusion update appear? can i suggest you add a unique items category, e.g. excalibur sword with a different color ^^

I love the game! I'd really like it if items could be renamed and/or moved to storage, which would make it much easier to create different sets of equipment. One to wear for luck and smithing, one for battle, etc. It'd also help avoid selling items you want to keep.

The one thing I don't like about the game is how it lies about your damage. When fighting a boss or something it will be like You cause 4192 damage to _____ go and look at the health and its like -800 health...

It would be nice to have a space for a secundary set that would not mix with others itens. It would be easier and faster to change from the str to the luck set.

After reading the update, our suggestions are to give you an idea. We aren't compelling you to do so. Still, I think you just wanted to give people what they want but sometimes that will just weigh down on you. Take your time. I think I'll give you the 5 kreds I've gotten for free from kong.

Oh, and one more thing: A filter for the pets we want to keep. Like the one for the items where we can set whether to keep the basic, magic, rare, etc. equpments.
For the pets it would be nice to filter for abilities (number, adv/normal, specific abilities we want), defence/attack/support type, starting stats, etc.

One suggestion: When we lvl up, we should carry the remaining xp to the next lvl.
It is annoying when i reborn my character, if the first enemy is a boss with half million xp reward and i only advance to lvl2... (when it should be enough for cca 10 lvls)

At first when I red your update I was shocked. I thought how is this possible that you're not getting anything for this. I don't know if you got some money already because you haven't updated in a while, but as some have said before, you should be happy with the amount of hits you've got in this insane short amount of time. The money will come. But what we are hoping is that you're not dropping this game comepletely, because there still are some bugs in it. You also said you were working on a pet fusion system. We are all playing your game, so why not a little bit of happiness about that instead of saying this is endless, that is endless, hell, even the battle is without an end :).

The remote load system is broken. My computer doesn't save data, so I relied on the manual load system. Since that has been thrown out, I now rely on the remote load system. Sadly, there seems to be a problem with it. When I try to use it, it has set me back hours. I have lost titles, many legendary items, and spent AP points to where my skills are lower than they used to be. :L
