even tho I won't buy it, like that the premium content is just general silliness than required for top scores. It reminds me of Tyrian from back in the day.

One of the best here. Great balance. Random maps, have played through three times already. You have to change strategies. Premium is a tip not a required. Awesome job.

I really liked the end-screen reading something about your wrecked soul after having obliterated everything. There is no "hero" after all this, there is only a haunted soul which hears the death screams of friends every night in its dreams. A challenging game, good upgrade technique, nice soundtrack, five stars.

Physics Lab is where the game breaks like a dry biscuit. build 4-5 labs and you'll be dishing out Annihilators 1 per 2 seconds.

Missile are cool !!
Until your own missile rack destroy your base at the beginning 'cause there was an asteroid near it.....

"Corpses spin off into the void where they will drift silently forever, looks of horror frozen on their faces for all eternity." Awesome!

Bug: you can win a black hole level if you build something in the last second when everything is sucked in. The newly built structure will get destroyed a second later than everything else (including enemy structures/units); meaning you have one structure left, the enemy has none => win.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Annoying to work through. Oh, so the enemy army has a shrink ray that will destroy everything. Great. I could either spend a few hours figuring out whether this is something to overcome, or do something more entertaining. That was an easy choice.

Yeah, I'm gonna have to agree, Physics lab= fantastically awesome. difficult to get to, but worth it. EVERY OTHER LEVEL- I don't need a bunch of energy creation anymore, two small carrier producers and a couple physics labs and bam, level won.

Seems I obliterated my soul along with millions of vessels in the eternal sea of space. *nods* I am just as empty now.

Mining ships seem, um, completely overpowered for the early/middle game. Admittedly, I'm only starting to hit 50s, but a few beam cannons with barricades only have to last me long enough to start building mining ships (from the fighter bays, not the guns). Miners POUR out of their bases like there's no tomorrow and give you TONS of energy per ship. As soon as you've got the first one built it's more or less over; they allow you to build more fighter bases for miners faster and faster. It's not long before the swarms will barely stop to bother with a medium ship because they're just so stinking powerful. ...and you get paid for them to be decimating the opponents' fleets.

Great Game! Just beat all levels. Got stuck for a while on quite a few. Here is a tip for the higher levels. Use multiple physics labs to create an unstoppable swarm. Physics labs with supper carriers will decimate almost anything. Ships are almost always a better investment than turrets because they will keep coming back. On hard defense missions don't kill the first wave, you can get all the money you need before killing it. But yah, super carrier plus 5 physics labs is unstoppable.

From my small time with them:
Solution to infectonators - annhilators, esp with increased production speed. Solution to game - annhilators, esp with increased production speed.

perhaps it would be cool to be able to see the outcome after defeat (I'm normally like, don't fight me, the infectonators will take us all).... getting emotionally attached, and it may be slightly.. interesting to see battle to end

I have a perpetual explosion on this map, fed by infinite mining drones. My energy production is rediculous, with over 50 of the larger reactors. And I'm still losing :p
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The balancing needs a serious fix... while huge battleships are completely useless and costly, building masses of fighters owns everything, especially with "fighter" and "bomber". Currently this can be seen as protip also. :P

I found that interceptors work very well against the infestation. Overall it was a good game with a decent difficulty curve, but I was a little disappointed that it got very easy toward the end. Still 5/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I had some powerups of autoregen and improved regen and others, though I was having difficulty using my normal stragtegy of quickly put down energy and then build turrets and then lare carriers
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
interesting how I beat a middle infector level with fighter bombers and a medium ship destroyer (added 3 healers and it worked on the beam halo middling level too)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
For infectors, you usually have to do one of two things.
1: Mass ships and push forward with turrets
2: Mega mass ships using the physics lab
The infection resist (has with all resistances) does help. But you got to use the right stragety
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Alright, infecting enemies inbound, one shot will compromise our turret, it is of the utmost priority that we... ASTEROID KILL IT!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This game is freaking terrible. You get to a point where you can't get any more credits to upgrade further and EVERY LEVEL HAS ENEMIES THAT ARE OVERBALANCED. Add the dumb ass map mods and infest and all the other artificially challenging crap, and you have a whopper of a garbage end-game. And there is no reset for skills... so you just end up STUCK. 1/5, crap game.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
so how exactly do you beat the infectors, i bought resistance, which seems to do jack and shit, and even a while i'm breezing through difficulty 62 missions i still can't beat that infector one that's only 41 difficulty
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Haha Super Carrier is so imba.
Skirmish:
My enemies: Nearly full build (1 infested)
Me: 1 Building left but producing Super Carrier
=> Won within 2 min....
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Yeah the "Final" mission is so easy compared to the infector battles I had to fight, but then again I may have just been unlucky as they always started right next to me. RNGs always seem to hate me...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I was able to finish the final level on the first go, without any buildings destroyed, but am still baffled by some of the missions to the east...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
One problem I have with the game is that sometimes your ships all explode in a giant chain reaction. Its not an area effect weapon blast either, my big swarm of ships all blow up and a huge explosion of lagfestness traces back in the direction they came from. WTF is that?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
That was interesting. I won a mission with no buildings left. I had a half dozen super carriers, but only about two were left when I won.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
on the ones with the black holes have 2- beam cannons and two spaceport produceing light carrirs and posible 2 reacters then last get the annialter
(works on defance time to time
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Oats123 No, it promotes different playstyles. Black holes are time limits for rushers, and most of the other levels are for people who like to sit back and wait patiently and build up. :P It would be boring without external factors
