You can beat a frame glitched laser rusher with rof rof repair turrets. 2 rof rof repair turrets = 150 energy. 1 laser = 200 energy. You're ahead. ► As for new things CWW could add easily? I think adding ► Infest Aliens / Cloud Aliens as usable ships would be easy and good to add. (make them only findable at level 20 and above) They might be too good (freeze lasers) so there might have to be a limit, like you have to use an "Alien Station" as an Aux to use their ships in battle. ► Another addition that could be added would be Auxilliary items could get mods! But since most mods do not make sense for Auxes. (thermal rof range tactical shield?) Winning these Mod Auxes should be limited to beating bosses level 30 and higher. (trust me, campaign isn't as hard as people think) These would be RELATIVELY easy to add upgrades to the game (it all exists in the game already).

nerf lasers, if u start with two frameglitching lasers with range boosts (ex: range rof rof with 4 primers, range range rof with 2 heatsinks), you can win instantly on the short map.

In OE4, it would be cool if there was an alternative to boss battles such as a surround battle. A surround battle would be a battle where the player starts with a boss base and is surrounded by all of the other factions. The reward for beating a surround battle is an ultra rare upgrade token (alternative to winning platinum). an upgrade token is a token with an upgrade stored on it which can be used to upgrade 1 unit. (tokens vary)

I love space war games because looking at all the bullets, rockets, lasers and all the death and destruction is awesome.

In upgrading, there is only a static cost. Perhaps there could be a slider for cost that would also change the odds of red ships.

Yeah, definitely shouldn't remove the randomness to the ships for oe3/oe4. The most I could see would be some sort of "merge" system. Let's say you have an engine, rof, rof miner. And a engine shield armor miner. If you merge them you can get any combination. The best would be a rof rof rof miner. the worst would be an engine armor miner. (blue miner, because it's possible to get engine TWICE, and 1 will cancel, resulting in a blue) I'd say even allow a merge between a ship and a turret. The end outcome would choose randomly the ship or the turret as the base. It might be too easy to use 2 ships though. So maybe bump it up to 3 ships. (2 will be wasted, 1 random unit will come out) This would encourage people to gather random units that have 2 good mods. (also, merging a blue would have 3 mods, 1 is blank mod, so merging 2 blues could get you a green)

@vova
haha, what red units you need you already have insane reds.
its highly improbable he will take out the randomness. it takes 750 reds to get the 3 prefect upgrades combination, and for every red it takes about 15 attempts, so you have about 11250 tries. Every roll takes 20 seconds (find item, upgrade screen, sell item, buy blank one) so 11k x 20 seconds = 61 hours!!! just upgrading for a single unit!!! not even considering the cost.

Wallis, please, can you allow to pick up mods somewhat easier?
Even for exchange of big amount of platinum.
Cuz it takes about 750 red upgraded units in average to get red unit you wish.
Thats about a few month of grind.

But random stuff is all part of the fun!
You can actually get some pretty cool stuff randomly.
I got a Legion capital that only has one mod: It launches miners. MINERAAAAALS

Xazo, thats called, 1) you're new, 2) then you got better, 3) then you raised your campaign level to where it's hard again. Just the way the game was intended. I checked your level and you beat level 8. I've been able to go to level 17 with only blank units (no green/blue/reds) ► ► ► ► ► http://www.kongregate.com/accounts/AllBlankUnitFATE ► ► ► ► http://i.imgur.com/ueFLgdN.png ► ► ► ► http://i.imgur.com/gKfH2gr.jpg ► ► ► ► So you have no excuses :p From what it sounds like, you're building way too many reactors and miners. Build less economy. Build more offense.

This game goes from not being fun for being too easy to not being fun because the enemy has the least-defendable-against capital ship in the game in less than a minute, while you're still getting your mining underway after getting a reasonable supply of energy.

I would like to see more physics such as an aoe force rounds weapon or a black hole that slowly draws all ships towards it.

If anyone is having trouble with The Infesters, i once figured out laser interceptor spam is good against them. Because the lasers 1 shot infester fighters, so if a rapier or something like that gets infested, another one will just instant kill the infested one. They are also quite speedy and dogey, and large swarms of fighters may also be good at confusing things.

The game can take an extremely long time to decide that the player has won or lost, sometimes even never.
I just won a skirmish, nothing happened, self destructed my base, nothing happened.

could we make our own map and if someone like it it will be added to camp and could we make our ship im tired of all ships i already got others, vote if you like too :]

Major bug: Sometimes the boss fights generate in such a way that they're simply impossible. I got a case where I spawned in the middle of an asteroid field, very close to the enemy base, which had loads of missile launchers on the front line so that anything I built too far forward would be saved by no amount of Phalanx turrets. That meant that I didn't have sufficient space for defences, and given the amount of capital ships coming at me, nothing less than a couple Void Lancers would have done.
