@alex when i started, i was loosing on average 30 pvp to one win. you can also ask in chat for opponent to let you win for the plat.

@alex try to PVP more and you will end up with a newb (and win plat). you can surrender the "pro" faster, or you can look how "pro" play so you learn.

I mean, I (and everyone else) started from low level too. Know vovann1247? He used to be a newb with level 1200 rating last summer. Through dint of hard work he surpassed me sometime in the last several months and is now one of the best multiplayers of this game (2600 rating). Anyone can be skilled if they work hard.

@alexhasswag1 just how I like it! I put in a lot of work into this game, I am level 42 campaign and I have been playing for almost 2 years. It feels so rewarding to beat up droves of noobs in multiplayer! You say that you do not have enough plat? On a good day (many newbs), I can make more than 60 plat an hour, even more profitable than campaign farming! It feels good to trounce those that are not as dedicated to this game (yet). Work harder man, I was able to beat high level multiplayers when I first started qm'ing through skilled strategy and lucky finds (one or two good mod units is enough to win someimes).

@alexhasswag maybe u should just "git gud" and suck up your lot. If you do not have good units yet, grind harder or hope for good units in store. If you have not enough plat, do more campaign or win more qm's. But pls do not whine because you are unskilled. I mean, you can't hope to compete with veterans without putting in some work.

1. not that many people in pvp to have different groups for pros and newbs. not bad idea anyway.
2. naval, turret, even bay. i rarely use capital. also turtling is not rush and very good option.
3. PVP cannot be hacked since on game server. Navals can be faster by tech or skill, dont call people hacker if you dont know the game.
4. camp mode is part of the game.
5. its hard for newbs like you, like any other game, play to get better.

1500 does not make a pro. People also have different techs and multiplayer is very hard to hack. Also 50 plat every 50 hours would make it worthless as for not wanting to do campaign, if u want a bonus for nothing you should find another game. Also, wy do u care if they are allied?

If OE4 is going to have achievements, there needs to be an achievement for beating a boss with only mining based equipment. No, no? Hmm, i just thought it was a fun challenge.

I think you should increase your sell value or add ship value into account for example a hawk 90 energy worth plus 35 for station = 125 then you should get 31 back (note: I encourage you to increase it a little more about 40-60% is ok 60-80 for insurance that encourage a tactic like early pressure
and sell it when it provide no more pressure defenses should have more option like regen not to get thrown out by non stop incoming fighter(produced over time) that makes a lose a lose for a fair in a game

interesting idea, why not have it so that A you could shrink/move the unit menu from the lower left corner, and B have it so you are always at least 45 units from the edge of the map so that you don't end up with space you can't click on to build on.

why anyone of new people says anything about how to upgrade mediums? capitals and only capitals, game spiins around them, they are equaled to mediums in spawn time and suprass them in everything else.

Cataclysm with laser turret would be broken, as one Cata has more armor, less cost, and much better turnrate than Trident. Also, cata has received a buff with additional slow-reloading large non-homing missile.

what if cataclysm got buffed by coming with a laser? If this makes it too similar to trident, make the laser a falcon laser (10 damage, fire every 6 frame)

Why a return of the jupiter Dragold, jup are already good enought isn't it ? 2k armor, 300 range, around 60 to 80 dps, 9 fighter lunched per wave, and it's damn cheap. Jup rule !

or maybe have phalanx fire more shots/sec, maybe 2x, but lower the rof on glads and make it take multiple shots to stop larger rounds, like a arty-halo round takes 3 hits, and a saph round takes 1

Agree with Noraka, phalanx is already borderline OP in itself. Glad Yard is total shutdown for 40% of the game units.
what i like to see in OE4 is:
1. different movement/target pattern ships (attack from behind, take the long route)
2. melee/super close range capitals, so i can get cloak and ninja on enemy

Any larger-scaled miner after Exhumer are not useful. There's no point having too much metal. I'm just tired of looking all these 'Capital-sized miner' and such, they won't even get to be any use but to waste a capital slot.

well, you'd need more projectile spam to counter it, and then regular phalanx would be useless, so it would definitely ruin the balance

Glas yard alredy make most artillery and missile strategie useless, a phalanx halo would ruin every strat exepct those based on black hole and laser. That would be damn boring.
