nice, i think this might actually be kind of good as an rpg, like, monsters that can attack your ball and do damage and kick you back, touching the bottom of the stage would cause about a third of your max hp. levels for killing enemies, (basically exp orbs taking the place of coins here.) with a perk system like in epic battle fantasy 2 but the stats are like... max hp, gravity reduction, damage, etc. with perks like stronger flippers, slow time with the press of a key, TILT, etc.
JUST puttin my thoughts out there. give this a plus if you like the idea.

This is a really cool game with the Physics and the pixel art those made it a pinball game. It's a fun game. You should make the next one it will add to it. and make it to were you can add power ups to your flippers or your launcher. just a suggestion. 5/5 x 9000000000000000

Pinball Adventure Tower Defense?.. lets see it. 4/5, the physics were a bit off and it felt "laggy" almost at times, other than that definitely a fun play.

Actually damijin, there is a game that uses monsters in pinball. The game is called Pinball Quest. Have never had a problem with the ball just falling in the drain in that. Definitely recommend looking into that game and it's mechanics for some help with the physics mate ^_^

This game is amazing 5/5 just one thing there didnt seem to be enough gravity but other than that this is my favorite game

Feels ok to me. I'd like to see some more complexity on the tables, tho... I'd like to spend more of my time aiming at some specific targets.

*SPOILER ALERT* The sequel to this game will be called "THE PINBALL ADVENTURE II: BALLS IN SPACE". :3 (No joke, look at the end screen at the end of the last stage)

Pretty good. Kicker direction was definitely off... but like CoolTapes said, I don't necessarily think that that's a bad thing. The graphics, while pixilated, feel appropriate for the game. I feel that it would be even better if it had a plot line, even a simple plot line, as per Sushi Cat. Overall, pretty good, but nothing that caught my eye as "REALLY F***ING AWESOME!", so 4/5.

wow i never see alot of pinball games but this is farbetter then some of the ones that i play,i give it a 5 stars and keep up the good work!

It was pretty fun compared to other pinball games I've played. Had a good twist. The problem was that the flippers were a bit slow on the reaction time. I don't really care much about the random directions, thats how bumpers are supposed to work. What I'd really like to see is an extra shot feature in case your ball goes straight down in one of the gutters after launching it.

One of the slightly annoying things I have noticed while playing the game, the things before the flippers that push you up(I don't know what they're called) feel kind of sticky, it's like your ball is on it for a bit to long and gets launched a bit to far.

I would add a LevelingSystem. You get for killing Monsters EXP, if you have enough EXP you can pick goodies like: extra balls, bilting the machine and so on

I love pinball, but the weird physics makes it really hard to play. It's extremely difficult to plan where the ball will go when you hit it.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The physics: it's not so much that the power is off, nor that it's too "floaty", but (at least for me) it seemed like the kick direction was wrong. Example: the large triangle-shaped kickers at the bottom kick outward on a real table. In this, they almost always kick upward. That'd be hard to accomplish on a real table, and makes the game seem odd. I had the same problem with all of the other kicks, including monsters... kick direction just seemed off.

Wow, This Game is Epic better thn the pinball game tht i have on my pc but the grphics needs to moderate...
I Rated 4/5..!!

Really liked the fact that it gave you a target other than just, score as much as you can. few things i think you could do to make it better, add a nudge button, re assign or have the ability to re assign bumper controls, possibly to something like \ and / since they seem more comfortable when playing. also, seal off the plunger entrance once you pass it so you dont have to keep relaunching the ball when it gets knocked back. other than that i think its great and hopefully a second/ more levels will be coming.

Piss off, afgncaap.
Anyways.
Yeah, good game, thing is, I think the ball isn't... heavy enough, if that makes sense. It bounces a lot on the bumpers and monsters and everything, I hardly ever even use the flippers. Targets should be a little smaller, bounces shouldn't bounce as far,
Basically... it's too easy. And I suck at pinball.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I've noticed that when the ball's going really fast, it'll sometimes skip over an enemy it should hit, thanks to the frame rate or lag, I'm guessing. That and it's kind of annoying getting a "beat a boss' mission for your first mission, but if I didn't like that, I could just restart the level, huh? All in all, awesome game with only a couple minor annoyances.

you could also add some different themes like a group of desert themed levels and a group of underwater themed levels with a big octopus as the boss or something

Good fun. The main physics quibble I have with this is that the slingshots tend to send the ball on a far too vertical trajectory, rather than horizontally across the table.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It's nice, but it could use a LOT of work. The stages felt very small and though the quests were innovative, they got repetitive very quickly. The physics are a little off, but that has already been said. I think if the stages were more elaborate and the quests more plentiful this would be a great game. Good job so far; these are difficult to make, so 4/5.

This is quite possibly the worst pinball game I've ever played. I played better pinball games from 1988 on an Apple 2e. There's just nothing to do in this game. It's boring. There are no skill shots, and, heck, no skill at all required to play this game. Then add in repetitive and boring music, and terrible graphics. I'm very sorry you spent the time you did making this game. I suggest you go back to the drawing board.

Umm, just makes me yearn to play Epic Pinball again, back in the 486 days or whenever it was... remember you had to wake up the android? Now that was awesome... you asked how the physics seemed off? well the flippers are really delayed, and as handy as it is, the ball collisions move the ball towards the next enemy too much rather than bouncing accurately... i dunno, it has potential... but some more colors wouldnt kill anybody
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I think it's natural for people to comment on the physics the first time they play it, because it really sticks out at first. I think you guys who worked on the game are so used to its unique quirks that you don't realize how it seems to a new player. But that's not a bad thing! Players can easily get used to it too! After playing awhile, you become accustomed to how everything works. It may not always make sense compared to real pinball, but it hardly ruins the game. Things like the kickers shooting straight up, certain spots quickly revving a slow upward-moving ball through a loop, etc, are actually more helpful than harmful. They work in a predictable way and don't lead to cheap deaths, so what's the problem? I would hate to see you "fix" an already great game after so many people have already put up high scores under the original conditions. Keep the faith! 5/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
really nice game. i like how smooth it was. i dunno if "shdaow fae" is a typo or not. lol. might wanna fix that. but 5/5 this was great
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It's a little too unrealistic. You can easily hit the ball back into the plunger area. The bumpers are also unreal. Bumpers don't just rocket the ball at a certain speed; they're just rubber bands.
I like the idea, but it's just too unreal for me :/
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Good to see a flash pinball game, but the bland level design and the same quests repeating does get old. Has potential. 3/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The second and third levels are better than the first, but suffer from the same problems, and the fourth level is just poorly designed. The shape sends the ball hurtling either into the sides where it missed the lock to send it back out, or into the middle way too fast to react. The flippers need to be repositioned so that they actually cover the middle well enough that almost every ball into the middle can be caught at some point by a flipper. Oh, and the second level, the side reflector on the left side sends the ball off the flipper on that side and back down, effectively accomplishing nothing.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The game feels too "light". I feel like the ball is a table tennis ball, not a heavy ball bearing. I also feel like if I hit the bottom of an enemy, I should be reflected down not up. Other than that great game 4 out of 5 but with these tweaks easily a 5 out of 5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I liked it, but it just felt like it was missing something. I would like to see some variety in the levels and maybe even have some levels that are larger than the one screen so you could climb higher up the pinball machine. This would be cool if you tied it into the quests and everything. I'm giving it a 4/5 because it is a great start, just not quite polished yet.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
the side-kickers at the bottom actually grab the ball and push it straight upwards. Thats off from a "real" pinball game i think. other that it's pretty cool.

Pinball + Tower Defense stuff = Coolness :-) Initially it was hard to figure out the flippers because they are lagging a bit compared to what a real flipper would do. But after you get the hang of it, it's easy. I hit the 1m mark on the first try on the first level.
