@Lloyd_Majere -- AFAIK Greg does all the badging for games. Worthy games aren't the only games that get badged, though. Becoming a partner of Kongregate virtually guarantees that you will get badges as long as your game meets the 3.85 rating cutoff. (Normally, the rating for this type of game goes down after badges are added as people are 'forced' to play them)

Not even worth the badges. My ears are bleeding, my eyes are bleeding, and my brain feels like it's been heated in a microwave. Oh, and no Mute button was the nail in that 1/5 coffin. Ugh.

I sacrificed a rouge to buff one of my other heroes. She said: "tell my children mother loves them" D:
This game makes me feel terrible!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
An afterthought: I bet the badging process, those who decide the badges (not sure if it's just greg), probably don't have to sit and wait for stamina. They don't have to deal with all this money-grubbing nonsense. They probably use free kreds to maximize their own playthrough, and then set badges on what they THINK users will appreciate. The reality is, no user wants to be FORCED to spend Kreds, and no user would ever do so on a game that's so blatantly flawed and extorting.

So many logical flaws... My level 4 hero just died on the 4th level, with enemies "level 3-4." This means he loses EXP that would help him survive. Timed potions are useless in a stamina system; you should just make them last X number of battles instead. Only having six stamina for battles that takes 0 effort is not a game - those battles last about 5 minutes total, less than half the time for ONE extra stamina. Why do I not have enough stamina to Master even ONE of the STARTING areas on my first sitting? Why do those areas pose more challenge to me than boss levels? Why didn't you curve it: starting areas take two to master, next level set takes three, next four...??? Why does everything upgrade with DIFFERENT types of currencies? This game lacks so much of the minor thoughts that go into good game design. I cannot believe it was badged.

Have the badges. Why I'm never playing again. Battles are boring, I have little control over the outcome. Make them auto use skills. ABSURD amount of waiting, some energy games at least give you additional energy over time. Not this one, always six which you can burn in about three minutes going for mastery. The you expect me to wait an HOUR to recharge? No thanks... Instantly trying to get me into your kred/event shop everytime pisses me off and makes me NOT want to spend money. Sacrificing heroes to break level caps is lame, maybe I want to play with my new ones in order to see if they are better. Nope... gotta sacrifice the new one because the stronger one needs his level cap broken. Think I had one extra at the time of leaving with another hero approacing a cap. I think this is all I can fit and don't care to post page two.

This game has a lot of potential. Just cut the wait time on energy down to 2-3 minutes so you're not too focused on either pvp or campaign and add some re-playable missions that allow you to earn gems slowly and this game is worth spending some time on. But the constant forced waiting with your palms out is really annoying. If these other conditions are met, I could see myself spending some Kreds on instant experience to catch up new heroes later on.
Would you rather have 1 person pay you $100 or have 1000 people pay you $1?

Anyone else love that massive spike in difficulty a couple fights before the one that gives you the medium badge? That's no accident. Thanks a lot Kong, you don't badge any good games yet give this one 2.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Medium badge takes extremely long (several days or a lot of $$$). Progression after level 10 is extremely slow, I have a level 12 and two level 10s and the boss oneshots most of my guys. So I have to grind a lot to be able to get the badge but the energy system makes it so I can't grind without paying money. Pay2badge, vote 1 move on. Just get the easy one that one is doable after an hour or so. Medium will take several days or money as stated.

The monster dialog needs to be skipped after the first time. I want to play something in another tab and ignore this as much as possible.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
After badges not worth it. Graphics look great but there is no interaction other than having your hero's use their skills. 10 minutes of play and a hour break gets boring quick.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
For those that just want to get the medium badge and get the hell out: the ogre can stun lock the boss. I won with a level 7-11 spread of four heroes, two of them other melees that died in the first quarter of the fight. All attempts before then ended in defeat in the first quarter. If you can get an ogre, you can probably win with it and two ranged fighters.

So I have to play this game for a few days to get the resources to get enough heroes to defeat the 15 medium badge boss. Yeah, like I am going to do that...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Wow. This is probably one of the shameless cash-grabbing games I have even seen. At least other games let you play the first 2~ hours without the need to wait for your energy to get get you addicted and stuff. But not this game. Nope. After playing for 20 minutes you already have to wait 12 min between each battle. And each battle last 30 sec - 1 min. And why medium badge is so difficult? That boss is insanely strong compared to previous bosses or previous level. It should be hard badge

As someone else recently commented: this energy system is abusive, to be completely honest. As many others have said, this system is by far one the worst implementations I've ever seen! And that's saying something! I'd be laughing if it wasn't such an appallingly cynical, manipulative, consumer-unfriendly cash grab. As soon as I get this damn badge, I'm outie. :/

I guess I should thank the Unity team for not making a Linux-compatible plugin. If I were given the opportunity, I'd surely suffer through this energy-based non-game and many, many exactly like it just to earn the badges that Kong doesn't care we don't want.
Thank you, Unity, for ignoring Linux, and thank you, crappy pay-to-anything game devs for choosing Unity.

Good lord, this energy system is even more comically restrictive than usual. You guys aren't even trying to mask the greed.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
great. to "evolve" a hero i need to sacrifice a specific type...and i won't even tell me what type!
i'm guessing it has to be an identical hero...and since buying heroes gives you completely random types...DID THESE DEVELOPERS EVER PLAY THIS GAME THEMSELVES?!?!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I hate this kind of game, but I usually play them untill I get the badges. On this one I would lose my sanity... there isn't a single good thing about it, and the easy badge takes quite some time. How could Kong be involved with this ???
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Just a pathetic money grab. Sad to see that congregate put badges on something like this.
Constructive comments:
-12minutes per "energy charge" is way too long, especially since you start with 6.
-Don't lock nearly everything in the store behind a paywall. It's generally better to allow a tradeoff of time or money.
-Unity is terrible. Either stay with Flash, or target WebGL for when it is more widely available
-The tutorial is really annoying, and the fact that it forces you to spend your gold in ways you may not want to is quite unwelcome.

unity, too large for a normal screen, incredibly loud music with no access to the options menu until after tutorial, a 30 minute unskippable tutorial, an energy system for combat with a ludicrously low amount of energy, a timer system for everything else, and a shop where 90% of it costs actual money and what doesnt isnt worth the effort to buy it. i think its safe to say that this game was created by the 2nd hero it gave me in the tutorial: Khuntze

make it so that one clan can help another because i hate to be a threat or just do nothing when im a captain of another clan

the place with most things is to check out is the shop where you use kreds. The actual number of xp I need to level up hero is not shown. There are 9 buildings that you spend seconds on before leaving.... My max is 6 energy which takes an hour to fill. But you should add something to do while waiting, funny descriptions, minigames, upgrades to decrease waiting time. MMOs are becoming more and more like idle games, except it's actually slower.

Nice game! I gave you 2 stars but I can offer you a nice deal.
Gimme 50 Kreds and I'll raise it to 3 stars!
Gimme 100 Kreds and I'll raise it to 4!
Gimme 120 Kreds and I'll raise it to 5 (Best Deal!)
