to the barrel in the end of the manor, the only solution i found is to have the second life (the one you can get for free).
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Xatax, I finished it without paying a cent. Just upgrade your lives once, and run into the barrels at the end. When you restart at the last checkpoint and return, most of the barrels will be gone, and you can reach the exit no problem.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Game takes a metaphorical dump on the player on the last manor level - there's no way to avoid those barrels at the end, and jumping over them doesn't work either..."You're 99% of the way there? Gotta pay to complete it!" Seriously, DON'T spend a single kred on this waste of time.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
So. I completed the entire first level, and STILL couldn't afford to upgrade a skill. The prices there are far too high - at least thats what I thought until I looked around and realized that the reaosn was because you're expecting people to pay for the upgrades. Your all too apparent appeal for oney is too obvious, and sort of ruins the game. I can't deny its a good looking game, but its ruined by the fact that you can't upgrade anything in-game! (I'll also not ehte same thing I said about the first version - the Grim Reaper character is NEVER seen in game. I haven;t encountered it once, so if its following you and is never seen, whats the point?)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The fact that the first thing in the game is a sign begging for my money makes me give this an instant 1/5. I can tell without even playing that this will set the theme of the entire game.

My personal thoughts
-To the Player
if your going to judge a game based purely on its method of making money. You are really not going to like the future of gaming. We are quickly pushing into a Free2Play and PayAsYouGo models of gaming; this is generally not somthing we cannot escape as; MAKING GAMES COST TIME/MONEY. If your not willing to pay, OR in the very least be polite. You may wish to consider liking another entertainment medium.
-To the Devs
I loved the game,
It takes a very VERY nice spin on, what many game aficionados would consider outdated methods of play. Sure there moble games like Temple Run; but that game dosent offer the sort of depth and complexity of Skill Based Platforming. Temple Run would be better described as Rythem Skill much more akin to Guitar Hero.
Again, I would describe the game a Crash Bandicoot-Esqu; and I love it all the same. :D

From a designe standpoint, this game is absolute wonders.
It takes me back to my youth playing good linear skill platformers. Its feels fast and cleaver. Discovering the first SECREST of the levels is pretty phreaking awesome; The Game awards you for being quick to notice AND quick to act.
Now I understand how people can berate the game for being a money grab. this sometimes pisses me off as well; but for the game, not the case. Sure the game asks you to throw money at it, The Devs need to live too, and making GOOD games is not cheap and takes time. I do NOT find it unreasonable that they try to earn a little money for their labor of love. AND in their favor they only charge money for simple non-game changing things, and even then you can still unlock anything simply by playing. (Unlike that other real money grab shooter around here *cough*)

20 to 30 skullys per level, 2499 for just the second level and persistent demands to pay for skullys and skills... achievements completed, 1/5, bye!

how can a human being with a little amount of brain give this shit 5 stars? i can't believe such horrible crap gets a rating above 1 stars and even 1 star is much too good for this.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Manzanaul Well I got both achievements and I didn't have to pay a single cent, so I don't really see how they are corrupt.
a) They need to make a living too. They are a company, not a charity organisation
b) As long as you don't have to pay a single cent to get ALL achievements on all games, I fail to see how this would be a problem

So... after a few mystery boxes.... You want me to shake my device to use the afterburner? Which part of my desktop-pc you want me to shake?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Awful, unfair, frustrating, money-whoring, can I give 0/5? The high ranking is probably faked... this isn't even worth the badges
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Why did you add badges to a two-year-old game? It's a shame, if you thought it would pump up the kred-buys. To the game: it's annoying to get a BUY NOW THIS PACKAGE before even seeing the main menu. After seeing the upgrade costs and the coin gain on the levels I think it's pay-to-play. And on top of that: use of afterburner, shake your device? Very poorly converted phone game....you could say, a phoney game....hahaha....2/5 (2 stars for graphics and game idea)

I wonder that this game is rated so highly with all the dissatisfied comments. It's got good graphics and fairly smooth game play. Moneygrubbing? Yes, but so are many other games. I'm probably giving it less than it deserves with a 3/5

Why does Fred keep running to the left? On my end he's just endlessly pointing himself to the left. I'm not even controlling him to do so.

This game leaves MUCH to be desired. For starters:
a) The first thing I noticed was that the hints don't last nearly long enough for you to read them. "Be careful when summoning-" game starts. Summoning? I didn't know you could summon in this game... This could be fixed by having a hints section
b) Each mechanic needs to be explained before or when encountering them. I got the wall running shoes, and had no clue how they worked, had to figure it out through playtesting. Also, I notice you can jump off of the wall, but it's hard to do it correctly (unless I'm doing it wrong - again, an explanation of this would have been nice)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Why does he just auto run right into the wall when not touching anything?
Garbage game because of that. Makes no sense at all, why cant he just run straight?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Stuck it out long enough to get the Badge of the Day but it's just too sniveling, and expensive for that matter, to bother any more. Without the begging I may have stuck it out a short while longer to get the Medium badge but even then, it's frustrating, bad controls and the gamplay is so interrupted with "come shop, give kreds, shop more, BUY THINGS!" I may not have earned the badge anyway
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This is a horrible game. The hitbox detection is atrocious; I was being killed by obstacles I was past or hadn't come to yet. The glitches are out of control; I jumped once and flew above the map then crashed into it and was stuck behind a wall whenever I respawned so had to restart the game. The begging for kreds is outrageous. The effort by the developers to make this an FtP game shows that they have no idea what FtP games are like. The scaling between levels of items is stupidly high, especially considering that they have such a small effect in game that it's not actually worth buying anything. To get the badges, double jump plus level one health, wall walk, and wall jump is all that is required, because the game is so glitchy that with wall walk and wall jump you can cheese your way through levels. I r8 this sham -8/8 m8. What the staff were thinking giving badges to this pizza is beyond me.

At first I thought the scared look on the kids face was amusing, but after an hour of trying to play this game, I find every one of it's quirks as annoying as this game. THAT'S RIGHT, THIS game will hence forth be what I compared really annoying things to. I hope you're happy.

If this wasn't an obvious "moneywhoring" game as ISoulreaverI said, this could be quite a good game. I like the wall run and hump mechanics but would have needed to play for HOURS to unlock that ability. As such, it makes a mediocre game seem just wrong.
