As it has been said many times. Upgrades are too expensive, however I realize the reason is the developer wants money. That is why there is the cash option to get skullies. So don't bother complaining because the upgrades are intentionally inflated so that you will get frustrated and hopefully hand over some money. Very unclassy tactic but whatever.

There are a few ways to improve the money system if you don't want to lower prices: Make the standard currency silver instead of gold, or let silvers carry over so those four silvers don't go to waste. Also, throw in collectible coins (or simply pay more) in survival, as it is very time consuming to get far enough to make a lot of money, especially considering how difficult some of the traps can be and how grimmy can catch up even on near-perfect runs. Finally, award coins for medals and challenges.

Not sure I got the real meaning of "Panic Power"... Grimmy shythe miss once and on next cut you reach underworld? I can't see difference between normal run and Panic Powered one. :S

I know everybody has said this but, the game is truly a gem and should be recognized as a truly good game. The upgrades are a pricey, but the rest of the game is awesome. I love the humor in it and the blood and gore. I feel if the upgrades were cheaper, the ratings would go thru the roof. Final rating 4.5/5 UPGRADES ARE TOO EXPENSIVE!!!

Good idea, but the upgrades cost too much for their utility, and to unlock the next level set cost far too much. The cost of everything spoils the game and makes it look like a money grab.

i know alot of you dislike the fact that the upgrades cost alot but the deloper made a great game and deserves some money and i dont know aout you but when i have been saving up for something for ages i get a great secne of achievment

4/5 its really fun but "killed by camera angle" and no way to control speed and timing in a game all about speed and timing just doesn't get a perfect score.

great game, but some things still need to be smoothed out a bit, like wall jumping. I would say a solid 8.5 or 9 out of 10 for mow.

Tips on how to get skullies:
1. Unlock endless manor nightmare difficulty
2. Play and die once in the nightmare mode
3. When the screen comes up choose change difficulty to easy
4. You will get the same amount of skullies you get on nightmare but the difficulty is easy!!

I noticed a typo: You occasionally get a message that says "challenge level". It's supposed to be "did you buy all the upgrades level".

@calico_jack The reaper is always slightly faster than you to begin with, not to mention you slow down when on walls. (At least for me) I can usually get away from him by using every other speed boost. As a side note, if you can get to nightmare difficulty traps in normal mode, I believe the gold multiplies. I got 60 coins by reaching about 3,500 on normal.

Nice game! Maybe you should make sure survival is ALWAYS possible, because a few times on hard mode, I couldn't get through a gap in the wall because there was a cage blocking it. Also reward skullies for completing a challenge the second time and onwards. But still 5/5.

yey!! I managed to stuck the game!!! I've been killed in the air by the reaper, hit on a pipe so I've been pushed back and then I got the mystery box that I had passed!!

2/5 For being greedy, game itself is nice but when you can't get any upgrade.. it isn't worth the effort of sitting my ass 10 hours just to get 1 skill.

-upgrades are way too expensive (I spent more than 2 hours just to get enough money for the next adventure location)

This game has potential. Unfortunately, it's limited by a grossly overpriced upgrade system, monotonous "survival" mode (which is all that's left after the short "adventure mode"), and unreliable "wall run" mechanic (which some parts of the hard survival levels rely on).

It'd also be nice if the treasure chests refreshed daily... it'd give a reason to replay other levels instead of farming the same few over and over (Manor level 3 & 5 are my favorites). Also, throwing in coins randomly in survival mode would add an extra challenge.

There's no tangible reward for playing survival on medium or hard difficulty. On easy, you make about 1 skully per 100 points, the same amount as medium and hard.

Come on, I got every damn award and got 0 skullies as a reward. Everyones been complaining of the income speed for skullies, just put some money rewards in for challenges and achievements and that will alleviate some of the pain of the grind.

@cliffordjhlee There are 59 silver skullies in that level. I think you might be missing one when you do the wall jump, because there's a skully hidden behind the flag on the top beam. What I usually do is jump over the beam, and when I fall down, the hidden skully is picked up by my magnet.

Strange that no matter how many times I try, I can never get a gold on Grisly manor level 6 despite being certain I got all the coins?
