This game runs on Adobe Flash. Effective Jan. 2021, Adobe began blocking its flash player's use everywhere. Kongregate is now partnering with Ruffle to make some of our Flash content playable again. Description
To clear this up: (API) in the title refers to Application Program Interface, which in this case means that the entire game (excluding audio) is created on the fly, using Actionscript and Flash's drawing API. Basically, it was designed as a KB Game, and weighs in at less than 100 KB.

Merlin has been messing around in his laboratory again, and has inadvertently released some unexpected, and potentially dangerous, spells. Help the wizard by grounding his spell bubbles.

How to Play
Click and drag the icons on the right onto bubbles of the corresponding colour โข Match the size of the icon to the size of the bubble for higher scores โข If the icon is too large for the bubble, the bubble will pop, and your score will drop โข If a bubble/icon match is successful, catch the falling bubble in the cart for extra points โข Control the cart using the LEFT and RIGHT arrows or A and D โข Discard unwanted icons by releasing them anywhere. Don't let them hit the cart, though! โข If a bubble escapes, you lose 5 points and 1 Chance. 0 Chances = GAME OVER โข Preserve your Chances by simply popping the bubbles before they escape. No penalty โข Bubbles will appear, and move, more quickly as levels advance. Scores also get bigger โข Survive for as long as you can for a spot on the scoreboard โข Press P at any time to PAUSE

fun and original. i have a bit of a problem with there being 4 different red bubbles, some of them i can keep separate, but others i wind up trying, and wasting time and icons. i also get a little frustrated occasionally when i feel like i've correctly tagged a bubble, but i guess it slid out of range, or something, and lose again.
quite cool, though.

I liked this game, but found it quickly got too challenging for me. I hated how sometimes the bubbles would leave the side of the screen in the middle and not come back at all because of the angle or whatever. otherwise good game

Could be fun to play. It says (API), but I don't see integrated high scores though.
