For those who don't know, losing a battle will revive all your animals. "Extra lives" only work to keep that from happening as long as possible.

Awesome sequel... Dave- six ghosts is easily defeated...you need to use your move characters better and use the magical spells to their best effect. Reserves allows you to have three characters gaining exp while not in your group which you can later either dismiss them and get items for their level or use them as another creature if one of your creatures lose their lives...also good for stashing a certain type of creature for specific battles...like all ghost battles.

Wanna know whats gay? OK here it is:
First of all, i cant load saves. Joy...only autosaves. Second of all, i had a nice little group going right? and i try to kill this castle. Hmm, 6 ghosts....WOW...i have 4 level 10's and 1 level 8/9, and i died...over n over again..BUT ALAS i had 2 left, half life roughly each, about to lay killing blow...GAME ENDS IN A DRAW. I lose. OMFG im so pissed off, i try again (all in all 7-8 times) almost win...DRAW. So i said screw it, and went on...next castle...6 ghosts..and WTF do reserves do? they do no hit for me....i had 2 guys in it but NOO nothing happens lol

You can use the "raise" egg after your creature dies, just do one battle and after it he'll be raised without losing a life. If you use any of the raise potions/pills you lose a life.

Hmm, not sure how I got 2 items at each. Maybe you have to defeat a castle then go back? Anyways, just go back to them after a while, lol

love the game but the GET RID OF THE LIFE SYSTEM it sucks so much lost three lvl 18s at once at only had 10s to replace them other than thatid give it a 5/5

the summon potions.. does it just make it so it is possible for you to get them later? it does not seem to give you the creature... and i wish i knew what they were so i could try and summon the better ones. "tell me if you know what each one does such as "pufferfish" and "muckman"

From the map there's a purplish disk symbol in the lower right portion of the screen, Not the greatest place to hide it and no load function without restarting hehe

oh, just a hint.. get some high level creeps (~15), save, sell them, hope for doublewhite and anything and try to get minotaurs and bombirds.. and then start again with your new fancy "We kill everything in 2-3 turns"-team

Found a nice bug, all scrolls give the item twice :D just leave and come back. You may have to use earth portal then come back.

The only interesting ones though are the white-white-anythings - they add a new monster to the rooster each (kinda strong ones)

Yeah, I'll have to say that the lives system is too much for the newbies.
Also, if you want to encourage the "recycling" of old monsters, don't force every single recruit to start at level 0. Since the game starts giving 0 xp after a certain amount of encounters EVEN IF YOUR GROUP HAS A LOW LEVEL, it's hard to have to train every single new guy you take on because one of your members ran out of lives, or if you have to change your lineup to adapt to an area.

very good game. a combination of the strategy and rpg. nice concept, nice work. a bit challenging, and complicated, but that's its advantage.

never mind the 1 ratings.. those people just post out of a desperate need for attention hehe.. a solid 4 star game for sure as the kong rating bears out. Basic problem I see is that the lives system, combined with the awkward offense to makes brutes disposable.The alone isn't enough to make things difficult but the new recruit system of starting level 0 (or 10 if you waste 3 skill points) makes knocked out beasts a very bad deal. Ditch the lives system or let beasts recruit at current area levels imo

Gwen, haven't found a way to add lives to monsters, however there is an egg which you can equip which revives automatically after battle without loss of life.

There are two ways to gain a skill point: 1. Defeat a fortress. 2. Fuse three yellow eggs together.
Frankly, it's a lot easier to defeat the castles, which are only filled with ghosts. You can just plow your way through with sweepers.

a lot more depth than the previous game, more strategy and planning, the abilities add a lot, it is a bit more complicated but this can be a good thing. 5/5 just to stop the naysayers voting it down
