Before you dismiss a 30+ dude, make sure you save. If you don't get the green egg that you wanted, just reload and try again! Same goes for making any egg!

I like it, nice job updating the game. I had only a couple of small quibbles- you should be able to sell things, when I tried to do that it took away all my money. Also, it would be nice if there were a way to go back to the main menu while you are in battle.

I agree with Yoshi. If the glitch was never meant to be part pf the final product, it shouldn't be there. I don't care how much fun the glitch it. (I'll admit, even I enjoyed it.) But let's face it: I'm sick of games that are too easy. It's nice to see a challenge every once and a while. I mean, normal mode is pretty hard, and I like it because of that.

I accidentally used the duplicate item bug several times, and I would much rather earn teh pwnage myself (which, btw, I am doing quite nicely). It shames me to think that fellow kongers would abuse this glitch, and then complain when it is fixed.

well, i went to easty, got my self 2 dragons, one elder, a sky d, a magma d, a shadow dragon, and an elderdragon. using the duplicate item thing, i got 6 skill points and ultimately the three "neutral" skills. With that, i fought until i turned a recruit down and got a white berry. duplicate, and forge into a level up potion. i managed to get 6 gold action eggs, and leveled the dragons to 30. DEATH.

hron, spamclick the hell out of the node you're trying to get to. A path opens.
Anyway, the team I prefer to use (on 3rd time through, it still 1 shots almost everything in the game... exception being a front row of behemoths :P): Front row - Ram, Mino, Ram. Back row - Bombird Bombird Bombird. Put extra action eggs on all of them (alternatively, a crit egg on the mino is ok). Basically... you'll always start... Spam mino til he's out of attacks. Then rams. Then the birds. Things just don't survive that.

how do i get to the issolated passage near the beginning?There is an underground opening , but ccanot get to it - i have dream paths unlocked though

Like I said before, love your game. 5/5. Let me tell ya what I've been wanting for a long time though. A more difficult and realistic version of pokemon. Start with one animal. Make spam healing difficult. Like they can only heal in a hospital at 1hp per minute. Force people to use the other animals that they find instead of same old team throughout the entire game. Of course you'll have to up their armor and make battles last longer. Keep spawn rate in areas constant too, so people can level farm them easily enough (up to a point). Make city areas low in creature levels and numbers. Further you get away from civilized areas the tougher the critters. Make holding pen at home base for storing captures. Etc. Just examples of making it more realistic and difficult. Bring on the haters now. I know you can't wait to step all over this idea. lol

lorda, use the potion on your animals and when you start a new game you will be able to pick the pufferfish to join your team

okay, so when an item says something like "Use to summon Pufferfish to your roster"... what is it supposed to actually do? I would expect that it would create an animal in an empty spot on my team, but when I actually use it it seems to have no visible effect.

2xMachina, I doubt you will ever meet 6 golden eggs with critical chance or actions in 'five minutes of grinding'. With the bug you can get every possible skill right from the start, getting extra power and spells, after you got a blue berry, you have infinite mana, after you get white berry, you have all animals at 40+. This bug turns the game into cakewalk. William740, 3 golden *eggs* are a skillpoint, and not just any three, but the same three eggs are.

Bout the item dupe glitch... What it does, is no more than a few minutes of grinding and healing (for each item). I personally like that glitch cause it reduces grinding at least.

hey Iono if this is a glitch or not, but i started a battle with it saying that I surprised the enemy, but there were enemy creatures that were already killed before i even touched them....

nother thing, in skirmish you automatically lose new items if you click on them and recruits are not clickable. is this on purpose?

DUUUUDDDEEEE!!!!! i found a way to get level 40+ monsters!!!! ONLY MEMBERS OF YOUR VANGUARD HAVE A MAX LEVEL OF 40! monsters in your reserve STILL GET EXP AFTER LEVEL 40!

If you were to remove the ambush/first strike mechanic and the critical hit mechanic, but leave everything else exactly as it is, the resulting game would be better than this one, and that wasted potential frustrates me.

@scorpion: Having your best guy killed before you even get a turn is not something that I can "get over". This is a perfectly reasonable combat system, except that for whatever reason the developer has A: Allowed blind luck to wreck you out of nowhere and B: Made leaving combat early unnecessarily difficult, despite the fact that thanks to A, the beginning of combat is the moment when the ability to quickly reload is most needed. The first Brute Wars had a fine combat system, and most of the changes made to it for this game seem to have no purpose other than to increase the luck factor, which is a very, very bad thing. There must be some reason why these choices were made, and I would like to know what it is because right now it just seems like the developers are intentionally shooting their game in the foot.

actually, the entire critical hit mechanic is unbelievably awful, as is the ambush/strike first mechanic. You have a nice, strategic system, and then you go screw it up by adding powerful and wildly random effects into the mix. Why? What possible justifications could there be for these choices? I loved the first one, and really want to love this one, but you're not making it easy.

GIVE ME THE OPTION TO RELOAD IN THE MIDDLE OF A FIGHT! Every other time in this entire game, I can skip to the main menu - and yet, when the enemy grizzly gets two crits in a row and takes out my best guy in one turn, I have to either wait for my entire team to get knocked out or refresh the page. This is an unforgivable oversight in an otherwise excellent game.

Gard, go into the cave, then spam click the node across the crack. Eventually a path opens. Platypus is a random spawn in the area past the cave.
To revive with no lives, you use a revival egg.
And you don't forge gold berries, you find them in battles or when dismissing creatures.

Love this game. 5/5. I have everything but the last creature and last two ?????. I assume it's a glitch for the ????? between the white berries and blue eggs. It's supposed to be the 3 white eggs right? Doesn't show up as so on the list. What's past the 3 gold eggs? I have no idea. And where is the platypus? I see a cracked wall at the first earth gate but there's never a connection between it and the read dot past the wall. Is the first earth gate at the bottom left corner of the map the right location? What unlocks the path? I've beaten the game once already. Who knows the answer?
