To all of you complaining about the load speed. I don't think the designers of this game were expecting it to be accessed by so many people at one time. With an asynchronous design like this you wouldn't put a very complex or large server infrastructure to the game.

That's weird.. I finally into a race and about half-way through the first lap it shot be back to the starting line and froze. Hmm... I think I'll just go do the BOTD.. bbl.

if they can afford a $20,000 prize you would think that they can afford to rent some extra servers and cut this load time

*Clicks quick race* Waits for 10 mins takes a nap makes a gourmet dinner watches lord of the rings trilogy (With all bonus content and s***) Takes a huge dump on the toilet does homework AND plays paper mario all the way through then comes back. "It's halfway done!" *leaps for joy!*

I really like this game. The load time doesn't make it worth it. It was acceptable on the PS1 it's not acceptable on a Flash Game.

1/5 I got one functional race in 30 minutes... I will rate higher when it is running smoothly and the load times aren't painful.

I had the same enormous problems as most of you with loading times, game freezing, etc. However, after right clicking and changing the Local storage settings to Unlimited, most of the problems disappeared and loading times were significantly reduced. Far from perfect, but at least it is playable now.

starting quick race.......5 min later.....starting quick race........5 more min ltr.......starting quick race...WHY WONT IT LOAD!.......5 more min ltr......starting quick race.....refreshes page....tries quick race again..starting quick race....30 minutes later....starting quick race...NOT AGAIN!

Omg i finally got into the Quick Race after 5 minutes wait, then I was racing then finally overtaked the other cars and finally was winning at first place, then the game screen went blank with the cars (as in the cars disappeared while the background is still there). I was thinking that this game was awesome and didn't mind the long loading wait; i guess there are also bugs to be worried about other than the long loading. ;(

So I spend 5 minutes waiting for it to contact server to get to a title screen. I hit quick play and wait another 10 minutes "logging in". Chance for 20K in gas isn't worth it.
