the highest level ive got to this far is 580, i tend to build up a huge amount of water towers and electric towers then go to sleep, and check out my avatar to see my setup

Right, level 166 with fully upgraded lightning towers in every available space...I think I'm good forever now. :P
For those of you struggling, the key is to save up. The interest rate is 10%, so at 1000 gold, you get 100 gold per turn, 10,000 gold, 1000 gold per turn and so on. I got up to 1,000,000 gold and it took two or three turns to get all my towers up lol
Now stop complaining, if you still can't win, then you must be rubbish :P

Love the guys who say this game is hard... Very easy after a couple of levels. Use a mage and some archer towers, some ballistas then wait for lightning, while upgrading of course. 4/5

level 32, 600 gold, 3 archer5, 3 ballista2, 7 lives; level 58, 3000 gold, 3 lightning, 3 archer5, 5 ballista4; level 71, 10500 gold add/upgrade a lightning tower every level... play as long as you want...

Pillbox, redeye213. I had to use my druid snowstorm attack to take out the bosses - it's tight for a while - but once you get to 8,000 gold you earn 1000 per round ... add or upgrade a lightning tower every rnd thereafter.

Nice graphics and sound. Music *would* be nice. To beat it, start with 3/4 archer towers and add a couple of ballistas behind/beside to survive the first 2 air waves. Upgrade don't add. Once you hit 10000 gold you can add a lightning tower / rnd.

meh, I have played better strategy defence games this game has issues for example, most of the creatures have too much defence and the bosses can't really be defeated except by uber towers. 2.5/5

Moarning about the music isn't a real consturctive comment. If you want Music while playing, start your player.
I played a lot Desktop defense and just didn't gave this one here more time to check out. For people that are into fantasy and this kind of games is new for them, it might be a fun game!

Pretty good game... Died at lvl. 221... Thank god people still do TDs... 4.5/5
P.S. Money is too little, but other ways it would have been to easy...

Neat game, needs some kind of a goal at least (the never ending thing kind of stinks) In lew of a high scores table I made it to level 598 by just letting it run all night.

The beginning is difficult, but if you can make it to 10,000 gold, you win. I am seeing how far it goes with a lightning tower in every square.

Once you know the interest trick this game quickly becomes very boring. It needs either better balance or some other hook. I've been running a fully loaded for the past day and a half without any input from me ... maxed out money and just waiting to see how many days until I die ...

I mean, I dug this game for awhile...but its never ending...I guess I just prefer a game that ends, gives me a sense of accomplishment, rather than driving me crazy.

Like others have said: save your $$ and let the interest purchase your towers. At $10k I let the free $1k a round buy my lightning towers until I could wipe out the waves on the very first row, then I could let the game go in cruise control.
Made it to lvl 563 without monitoring (overnight)
