mpost of the time i dont even bother with barracks, put 11 men in an upgarded tower and they have 100% accuracy and can outshoot most situations unless in maps where there are tons of zombies hiding in the houses

a thing i discovered recently, after a shitload of games played, is that you can build stuff, esp. snipers with more men, range, barricades and ammo, much faster, if you add some extra ammo/boards/men at nearest depot, like 50-50-5. while usually i use the 2-sniper-with-30'er-barricades-in-front for the main roads took me nearly 2 minutes to complete, this way its done in less than one (if the resources are really available). this makes pre-timer-fights with the surroundings much easier. dont forget to put the counters down to 10-10-1 after you finished, or you will soon be short on something probably.

How about a checkbox on the rate map screen to report a broken map (eg no starting survivors, or no land at all), with a high enough ratio of checked vs unchecked ratings the map is automatically deleted. Such as 2:1 (so minimum of 2 people have tried it).

For the next version, some balanced additions (rather than automatic weapons which would be hugely overpowered) would be gasoline, Molotov cocktails, and fire, plus some fire fighting mechanism. On fire zombies speed up but randomise their direction, have a chance of igniting what they colide with. A sort of last resort, extemporised ordinance with possible negative consequences could make it more interesting. Maybe a HumVee which sucks zombies to it like it sucks down the gas to speed up endgame or for rapid resupply/relocation.

People have made a huge number of maps. I checked the database and there are 3100 maps in the database that haven't even been rated in addition to the ones bubbling to the top of the 'most fun' list. I modified the 'recent' list so that it specifically shows maps which haven't been rated. Try a few of the unrated maps and maybe you'll be the first to play an awesome new map. :-)

I also love the replay button. It reminds me of what they had in Civilization. But I would definitely like more statistics: how many people you saved, how many people you lost, etc.. so you can better evaluate how well you did. (Currently just see how many bridges and zombies left).

I found this game on another site, I think it has a lot of potential for a sequel/series.
A workaround for the suppy proplem is to set the next building in the chain to a large number and the first to very low or zero. this is much faster than deleteing a suppy depot and building a workshop on it. Make sure you have people at the building to ferry suppies, with one person it will take a long time.
I've been playing a leapfrog strategy, beating expert and higher becomes much faster with it. Basically you build you build two sniper towers and a depot ~6 tiles towards your destination(like a bridge). Upgrade your towers and man them, and start transferring supplies. Then you destroy your old depot and towers. Scavenge your surroundings and barricade your "front" before the next wave. Rinse and repeat and you'll have destroyed all the bridges and all you need to do is kill the left over zombies.

Hello everyone, just to let you all know, I just released a map, Red Square, it may be too easy cuz I stuffed every builing with supplies, but please check it out, it's cool, but be quick, the bridge is right next to your base, take it out fast!!!

seems if you write "swoosh" or that with a number behind it(tested up to 3) it generates a very small map with 2 bridges for a quick match.

this game is legendary although it would be nice to send out squads of people with guns and move around shooting incoming zombies i would mostly like a seaqual and put that feature into seaqual.

This needs to be harder, just make a few snipers and some barricades fully up the snipers and give them a few survivors and then just camp, it makes it take a long time but its easy, also snipers are a bit too strong, even with millions of them against 2-3 make it harder and it will be a good game

With the new Survivor AI you are gonna need to pay attention to the quotas more then before, but once you get the hang of it its much more speedier and efficient and moving things around, atleast to me anyways. Also this is the first game where when I blew one of the bridges the zombies were attracted by the noise ^^ Thank you :)

There is one thing I can think of to make the game better, its already almost perfect btw, Just add the ability to add multiple zombies/survivors/supplies to a biulding with a click, like the shift click for quotas, add that ability to the editor, it would make map making easier. Btw, Love the game!

The new AI really makes the game very hard with all the people standing idle when things need collecting or snipers being manned. Alot of maps now become ridiculously hard

after the update, sometimes workers hand around and do nothing. the only way to avoid getting killed by stupid lazy survivors is just to expand slow. no more rushing building or collecting. just start defending and hunkering up when the clock shows 30 seconds left.

cheap strategy - put snipers near the building along the bottom row, but make sure they can see/fire into 1 alley. put barricades there and good supply line. then when clock ticks down and zombies spawn, at least one gets caught there. forever. so you go about the rest of the map with no more countdowns. may run out eventually, but works for quite some time.
also, I think hitting caps lock speeds game up 5x or something. couldn't turn back off though. odd.
