It took me a while to warm up to this one, but one thing still stands out -- why is it impossible to get to level 27?! I had to devise a strategy just to get 10K exp with five missions left, and I won't even be CLOSE by the time I finish my second campaign. And hey newbies to the series -- good things CAN be good, bad things CAN be bad -- use them both to your advantage, THAT'S the appeal of the series.

MM2 beeing one of my alltime favourites, this one is almost as good. Very challenging and unforgiving for the smallest mistake, or stroke of bad luck. Hardcore, but I love it. 5/5

Great job on an initially original enough concept. I don't understand the ratings, people don't have a clue where recognition belongs. Looks like they prefer games where you just randomly toss things in the air and wait for luck to give you upgrades and a high score.

3 sequels and they still havent got rid of the "enemies benefit from being shot, because they bounce into teleporter/cannons/end of screen randomly"? Also, rename missions with "bonus cannons" to "bonus ways of dying"

ppl complaining about having to scroll to see energy and hp think about changing to just a bit higher resolution? it's not the 90's anymore you know

so sad how my computer can't handle this :(. Kinda ruins the game, won't affect my rating tho, great game. For other people maybe it's just not my style. Very original and great improvements on the interface and world map feature. Keep it up hope to see some more work from you and maybe some better support for crappy computers :P.

I've always liked this series, and I still like this iteration. I actually think it's an improvement. However it still has some issues that are just plain cheap.
1: you shouldn't shoot when picking up a powerup. it's very frusterating when you have an antimatter thing equipped for example and you kill yourself when you don't even want to shoot because it hit something on the way to the powerup.
2: There is still some cheap factor regarding enemies being flung to the teleporter from singularities or nuketrucks exploding off screen, etc. Sometimes you lose when you did nothing wrong because an enemy got flung RIGHT on the teleporter instantly (mostly a problem on 1 escape levels).
3: The game is way too unforgiving if you haven't milked alot of exp from the early levels. you should have the option of replaying old levels in the campaign, and keep the experience from the better attempt, whilst dumping the other one.

Great game, and I enjoy it more than the other Missile Mayhems. But as mentioned by others, it is unnecessarily hard, as somebody suggested earlier, allowing you to 'grind' for experience would go a long way towards a more playable game. 3/5
